I don’t know if this is design decision but in the standard version expressions are computed after each operators not after I hit equals(=) E.g 2*2 + 3*3 should be equal to 13 but it says 21. This is wrong to my understanding and experience with other calculators everything before you hit equals(=) is and should be taken as one expression. And this problem doesn’t happen in the scientific version.
I am so sick of the lack of calculator on the iPad, and even more sick of all of the calculator apps with ads and paid versions. This is more than just a simple calculator app, too! It has your 3 basic calculators: standard, scientific, and programmer, as well as a bunch of conversion calculators. I also absolutely LOVE that it looks and functions great in a small window. Amazing work
I love this calculator. I recently started using an iPad again for the first time in many many years - and I got an iPad Pro with the Apple Magic keyboard. This app, I will reiterate, is amazing. No apps is perfect - I just wish it worked with a keyboard. It just doesn’t work in that way. Not a big deal if I’m just holding it, but for keyboard use, it’d be nice.I still use it. It’d be perfect if it had that.
I'm kinda late to this review, but at least I have used the app for a while now. The conversion calculator saved me multiple times when I'm doing chemistry problems, it just comes in clutch when I need it the most. Also ad free! The quality of this calculator is unlike none other and it just works seamlessly in slide over view on the iPad! Definitely deserves 5/5 stars!
My last review gave 4/5 stars and I said I would give 5/5 if it had dark mode support. This calculator app now has dark mode support since 3 days ago but I did not realize it updated until now. I now give this calculator app 5/5 stars as I said I would in my earlier review. This was always the best calculator app but now it is perfect! I don’t really use the currency calculation much so that missing doesn’t affect me much so I am not going to deduct a star for that plus it is just temporarily missing. I hope that is sorted out and that feature returns soon because it is sometimes easier to use this app for currency calculations than using a browser for calculations.
Title says it all. This is hands down the best free calculator replacement app I’ve ever used. And I’ve used a lot. Got it for my iPad since… well you know. And I fell in love with it instantly. At work I use the Windows calculator for A LOT to the point where it’s my go to. This is a perfect reproduction/port. I really feel like it deserves more love and attention. Give it a try if you can. My only complaint has to be the “uno logo” on the app icon. But at that point I’m nitpicking.
This is great calculator that does its job.Biggest reason for me to choose this calculator is UI. It has Apple-like UI. This allows me to focus while I am at work. However, you cannot type numbers from your magic keyboard for iPad Pro.This makes very inconvenient for me to drop what I am doing and force my self to press numbers on the screen.Developers, if you see this message please update this feature. I am sure alot of users use magic keyboard so it will be best update for many users with iPad with Magickeyboard.Sorry I had to give two stars because of it.Part of it I blame on Apple who doesn’t want to give native Calculator App to iPads…, but you can make users happy by adding that feature. Thanks,
I’ve been looking for a calculator that has a re-useable history feature and I came across this one, most of the popular calculators have the history feature but you can only view it and can’t do anything else, but for someone like me that deals with huge numbers I need something that I can just click instead of typing everything all over again. This is the best calculator so far.
After looking at many ad-infested or subscription based calculators, I was amazed to find this truly free one that’s also IMO one of the best in terms of functionality and minimalistic design (as is proper for a calculator). This feels like the calculator that should come preinstalled with every iPad. It should be far more popular in the App Store. I will send a tip to the devs if I can find a way to do it. Apple should pay them a wheelbarrow full of cash, add currency conversion and just make it a built-in app.
The calculator is simple to use and the user interface is functional. No ads. No pop ups. I can snap the calculator app on the left/right which allows me to use the calculator and another app at the same time.Good job guys on migrating/compiling the Windows 10 Calculator for iOS. It’s even more exciting that this is published by a Québec based company. Keep up the good work guys! I am hoping you will update the calculator with the new features being added by Microsoft and other contributors. Good job!
