Linux and Windows with sound

This app work nicely with Windows 10 and centos7. I have installed other apps before and struggled with getting sound specially in Linux distro. This app solved the sound problem and the interface is very clean and intuitive. It even finds available VMs in the network automatically. Thanks developers for making such a great app for free.

Bad since IOS16

This app was pretty basic and dated but still very functional and simple to use. Since IOS16, the app can’t be used in any decent form. The official tech support answer is that they are working on a new version for the last several months, no updates, they are closing threads asking about it in their forums. Completely unacceptable for software that runs in production environment. Cannot recommend it now for anyone that valuables remote access.

Great

Working perfectly, even better than PC version in my surface (there’s always some kind of display issues and I don’t know why) , not mentioned to be better than that RD client. All in all, one step closer to the future PC I think.

Keyboard usage needs a re-design

I use this app daily on an iPhone. I see two major issues, both related to the keyboard. 1) The row of extra keys at the top of the keyboard does not work correctly on the iPhone. You are supposed to be able to slide it left and right to access all of the keys. However, about 80% of the time performing the sliding action causes the keyboard to disappear. You have to re-open the keyboard and try it again. This makes typing a *very* frustrating exercise. The sliding action needs to be removed. I would rather have two rows of extra keys. Even better, one row with a configuration option to choose the keys you want. the keys also could be made smaller. Look how small the letter keys are on the iOS keyboard. 2) The second major issue I have with this app is the keyboard appears directly over the screen content you are viewing. I have used other remote apps that use some intelligence to “zoom” the content out or slide the content up when the keyboard appears. I find myself re-adjusting and re-zooming the screen content every simgle time before I can type, then when I type I run into issue #1 above. Seriously guys, the keyboard needs work.

Lets me get my work done, iPad Pro upgrade would be great!

This is pretty well implemented, with the consideration that doing remote desktop work on a system in a completely difficult paradigm is quite difficult! I've used it successfully on an iPad Pro 10" with a Smart Keyboard Cover and now an iPad Pro 11" with external keyboard and magic trackpad, and most things have worked as expected. I'm accessing a Linux NoMachine Terminal Server, so I'm obviously spending a lot of time in gnome-terminal. Copying and pasting into and out of that to the iPad works great. With the new 11" Pro, I've noticed that the Nomachine app does not support the new screen aspect ratio; it's still displaying as 4:3, which is disappointing. Additionally, two finger click on the trackpad is not recognized; click and hold is still the right click equivalent. It would be cool to have the trackpad functions fully integrated if a trackpad is present. I noticed in another remote access application (VMware Horizon), that if an external monitor is connected, the app recognizes it and shows the remote desktop on that at full resolution, while the iPad screen becomes a trackpad. I'm not so keen on the latter part of that, but being able to put an unscaled resolution on the external monitor would also be really handy. TL;DR this is a super useful app, with the suggestions I made above, it would be even better!

Needs a lot of fixes for ios 13

Mouse and trackpad support does not work well and there is a lag with in using it on the ipad especially when watching videos. I have been using it on Ubuntu and there is a lot that can be done to make the experience much better for the ipad especially when using a mouse and trackpad. I tried going to the forums but I have never gotten an email confirmation. I have tried it with two different emails and nothing. Hopefully there is an updated coming for the ipad because this application has a lot of potential for the ipad.

Almost Perfect

I’ve been using NX on my desktop for quite some time and I’ve always been pleased with the performance and ease of use. The iPad app offers the same experience with only one drawback: Audio Streaming to my Bluetooth headset doesn’t seem to work! Instead, it will default to playing through the speakers (on my iPad Pro 11). Not a huge deal, but that’s the only thing keeping me from giving it a 5-star rating. I hope to see this addressed in a future update.

Improper Aspect Ratio on iPad Mini 6

NoMachine works great and offers much better performance than VNC when I connect to my Linux box. However, on iPad Mini 6, the aspect ratio is ‘hard coded’ to be 4:3 and doesn’t allow the aspect ratio of 1.523:1 that is the iPad Mini 6 screen. I hope there will be an update soon to fix this.

Works great, but update is overdue

I've been using NX on my desktop and laptops to work on a consistent VM, and has worked solidly. The iPad app has the basic functionality down, but could use an update for better support on iPad pro. A couple of issues to note: - Resolution locked to older iPads, so there's black bars on each side. - If using the new Smart Keyboard, the mouse works but two finger scroll doesn't work. It makes it very difficult to scroll on the remote machine.

Quality deteriorated

Very disappointed with this latest release. I use an iPad Pro, and the fonts are noticeably blurry - they were never before. I've tried all manner of things on the server side to correct, but to no avail, and anyway the issue is clearly due to this new client release.I understand that the release was targeted more to the iPhone. I get it, but as an iPad user I am just not happy.
