Works “better” than advertised!

This is a one-of-a-kind app, with no close competitor yet! And, its wonderful functionality and user experience, is only a small statement about the team and/or developer behind the screens.So far, I’ve used this app for a while and I have yet to find any other service that can offer the same or better features. I’ve downloaded and tested quite a few and this has been my go to.If it was me, besides the cloud membership options for users that need it, I’d add a “buy me a coffee” tip for happy users (like me) that don’t really need an upgrade but would like that send a thank you.However, a five star review is also good I guess.

Please add!! & read!!

First of all, very good app. There’s tons of websites out there, and this app takes care of em perfectly. Matter of fact, you don’t even need to subscribe, as the free version doesn’t take away from what you came for. One thing that needs to be added is a drop and drag for folders!! when you edit and go to sort theres a manual option which says drag n drop soon, but thats only for bookmarks!! please do the same for folders. Also a clear all in trash would be great as well.

Latest iOS version has everything I need

I’ve been a steady user and have over 14,000 organized and tagged bookmarks. The most recent versions now have on-page highlighting that displays the highlighted text. This disappeared for a version. I submitted a bug report and the developer responded pretty quickly with an update. A highlighting problem surfaced on the MacOS version, and again the developer responded and yesterday I was able to get that update. This is a valuable tool to keep stay abreast of all the news developments and being able to gather and organize the details. Very important in the age of misinformation.

Where has this been all my life

I am seriously less sacred to start my PhD now that I have discovered this app! Every researcher needs this, it’s like my second brain. I love love love that I can highlight text and save it within the book mark, genius!!! Now I can read any paper and article online with out converting them to pdf and still save things I found interesting.

Zero Stars

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. POOR RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I could get this review zero stars, I would. I use this platform as a way to organize links that I would like to save, and I paid for the pro to be able to organize those links into groups. However, there was a bug on the site where I was unable to add new collections to groups. When I reached out to customer service they lied to me and told me that this wasn’t implemented yet. However, organizing collections in groups is something they advertise for paying for the pro yearly, and I was able to do it at first but then I wasn’t. So instead of saying that they were having a bug with their site, they decided to lie to me and give me a one-word answer that did not help with my problem. So for the past two weeks, I have been able to organize my links in my business because of the poor customer service with this platform. I do not recommend because they are just trying to get you to buy the pro but the pro is buggy and does not work. If you were to use this platform, do not give them any money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

iPad Issues

Like other reviewers, the app does not work as an extension on my iPad. It tries to launch and then just disappears. Works fantastic on my iPhone, Mac's and other web browser extensions. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting, etc. Nothing worked.I went to their website and opened up a support ticket. Their message “We usually respond in a few hours” doesn't ring true as it's been days. Yes, I checked my spam folder. This is a little disappointing as I purchased a yearly subscription to support them. I hope they get the iPad issue fixed soon. This really is an awesome app where it works.

Great app, just needs offline support

I tried all the “read it later” apps and this one is by far the best for a niche purpose I care about: finding items I’ve saved to my library. The folder + tags option is excellent, and the search feature is far better than pocket (even pocket pro). I am happy to pay for quality apps. This is ALMOST everything I could hope for from this sort of app.The only drawback is that it doesn’t have offline support. This makes a huge difference; today the 4g networks all went down. I haven’t found a better way to store websites offline and also organize and search for links in a systematic way. I would happily pay for an “offline pro” bundle or something like that. Besides that, this app is honestly so much better than pocket in all other ways. It is consistently faster to find articles I saved a while ago and access themes of links I’ve saved to revise a subject.

Love the app, but not the most recent update

It’s unfortunate that the most recent update moved the Save button to the bottom of the screen where it gets covered by the keyboard, requiring an extra step to save bookmarks. Because this requires swiping I’ve accidentally added wrong tags as my finger touched one of the tab suggestions while swiping down to reveal the button.On a diffeeent subject, a killer feature would be search that covers indexed page content instead of just titles and descriptions. Just sayin…

Problems with the new update

I adore this app and use it —a lot—. But ever since the big update, it force quits on me more than 50% of the time. When I click to save a link, the app will open and sometimes close right away. So I have to click a second time. Then when trying to choose which folder to put it in, I have to go very slow or it will quit a second time. Sometimes when I do manage to click on the right folder it might then close a third time without saving, which has me now going back a 4th time to make sure if it really saved or not.There used to be issues before but not to this level where I’m paranoid things won’t save even when it seems it went through. The old app wasn’t like this and even when it did quit it was pretty simple to open up again and get it saved. I know these actions are all super quick so for the most part I don’t mind doing them. But yeah I definitely have problems with more than half of the time using it, so even with all my patience, I am finding it really ridiculous to keep doing. Would love some help with this.

iPadOS problems

Can’t get it to work on iOS Safari. After installation there is no option to share or to activate. (I have looked under “more” as well.) In the share menu there is an option to select a file type, but no way to complete the share. I can get the raindrop icon in my address bar by selecting it from the extensions list, but when I click it a screen flashes on and then immediately flashes off. It is too quick to read, and often, but not always, crashes iOS Safari. It works well on my PC and Mac, but I particularly need it on iPad iOS. I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the Safari issue. Also, I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times but have the same issue.Using iPad Pro 11” 4th generation and iPadOS v 16.2.
