After 10 years of searching...

It seems like I’ve tried 100s of task and todo apps. None of them have actually helped me reminder things and keep me working on what I should be focused on. Most had things organized into tags or areas or labels. Even then, I had other stuff on a calendar. Sorted makes it so easy. I’ve waited to leave a review until I could honestly say this is the app I’ve been searching for all these years. Seriously. How long has it been? Ten years since I started my search for the app that fit my productivity needs the best. I can finally say... I’ve found it. No more opening the AppStore scrolling through the top download list hoping for a new app to hit the streets. Or back in the day or searching for “task” and the results showed the most recent apps added. Nope. No more wasted time searching. I’ve landed on the winner. Huge thank you to the Sorted team. Y’all are awesome and I can not wait for the Mac OS app to launch!

WHY IS THIS NOT #1 ON THE APP STORE

A+++++ for the developer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hello???, I have bought every single organization, todo list calendar, and reminder list app that is out there including the most popular ones. There is absolutely no contest! This app by far exceeds my expectations and there IS NOT one thing that anybody could complain about in this app. It’s solid, reliable, no glitches, has every single feature that the popular apps have, PLUS features I never thought that I didn’t even know I needed. Ummm hello, it even schedule is your day for you it’s a minute. And when you’re running late or running early it magically reschedules it as many times as you need. This is the ultimate calendar, planner, to do list, and reminders app! It really is the best app out there! Check out the trial and just see what I mean. Also, I’m not in anyway affiliated with the developer of this app. I am not being asked to leave a review and I’m not getting paid leave a review. People just need to know about this app! I’m just absolutely baffled why this app is in dominating the charts.

Scheduling made simple and fun!

Sorted³ makes scheduling a breeze. Simply press one of the plus buttons to be met with an elegant tasks and events interface that allows you to detail as little or as much information about your upcoming tasks and events as possible. This simplistic interface also includes the option of specifying tags and lists that you might want your tasks and events to be sorted into. In the same elegant interface, you can implement a selection of markdown features that can spice up your scheduling adventures. After scheduling new tasks and events through the same elegant interface, your upcoming tasks and events are put into view in the Schedule tab. Any tasks or events that occur at your designated time will appear in the inbox tab. These tasks and events come equipped with a selection of unique notification sound effects, so you will never miss an important task or event. Among these and many more great features included in Sorted³, comes the ever-so-awesome privacy policy, which guarantees that your data is kept private and on device or stored in your iCloud Account. Overall, Sorted³ is a brilliant scheduling app that makes the hardship of scheduling, both fun and simple, for everyone who uses it.

Still LOVING it

I’ve been using Sorted3 daily for the past four months; the more I use it, the more functional I find it. I am growing into its features over time, which is the opposite of my usual experience with task managers. The past few weeks I have begun using the auto-schedule feature, which helps me be REALISTIC about what I can actually accomplish in a day and forces me to prioritize. I am getting so much benefit from it that I just voluntarily bought the developers a pizza. 😊The main additional feature I’d like to see is the ability to assign a group of tasks to a time period without having to schedule each individual task for a specific time. (The time-blocking functionality I have been looking for in vain for several years.) Like if I could call a time slot “Project X” and all tasks tagged Project X would fall in that time slot in no particular order (or manually sorted order). (This is not the same as the already-existing feature of being able to create a task with subtasks that are handled differently from regular tasks.)But even without that, I have found Sorted3 to be the most actually useful task manager I’ve tried.

I keep downloading and uninstalling it

I really like this app. The UI and UX is very nice. I just wish there weren’t as many SFX. However it seems a little more difficult to navigate my lists.I kinda would like to get rid of the “list” view and add the lists in the left hand panel to easily view them. When creating a todo it also comes off as a little complicated at first, until you realize you can avoid the settings you don’t like(the duration setting). I am also not a big fan of the ruler, I get the idea but it makes the app a bit more overwhelming for me. I also don’t like that I have to check off my calendar events. I wish they were just text that was at the top of the screen with a calendar label of some sort. I really love the fact that I can change when morning, evening, and night times are, especially since I am overnight worker. That is one of the main features I am looking for and this app pulls it off very well. I ran across a constant problem after using the app for 3 consecutive days and it would crash frequently. I would try to uncheck something and boom, Home Screen. I am using a new iPad Air 5 and do not have an iPhone so I do not if that is common there. Would love to see some improvements. I do see this overtaking my current primary todo manager.

I never thought I would need this app. But I do.

In the past, I have always relied on apps for To Do lists. My calendar was usually separate, somewhere in the void and barely looked at. I went throughout my day and checked off items as I did them but never really got anywhere. Never really felt as if I was accomplishing anything. Justice spinning my wheels. That all changed in two days.I found this app in the App Store and loved the interface. That hooked me. After reading a little further about actually pulling my to do’s out of the “checkbox hell” and SCHEDULING then into my day- everything changed, as if a different part of my brain woke up. It all made sense. Sorted, if used properly, will change the way you plan and will help you through your day in a way that is refreshing and wonderful. The app has many cool features that mold into the planning process and with a swipe and a pull, you are on your way. Highly, highly recommended.*****Update! Update!***** I have a strange relationship with calendar apps. I get tired of them and switch from one to the other every so often. I used Sorted for awhile, loved it, then noticed that Things 3 had an update and, well, you guessed it. I switched. But not for long. Although I love these other calendar apps ( I have used Omnifocus and Things 3), Sorted is, by far, the best out of all of them. I have now switched back, once again, and will stay with this one.

Ooookay!

I finally make a go of it. I cheated on Things. I wanted to really stay in a relationship with Things, being that I left OmniFocus for her back 2 years ago. I purchase and have been using Sorted 3 for the past couple of weeks. First thing I noticed is it just makes sense. I find myself using it more for the practicality, versus the physical attraction I had with my prior relationship. Anywho, I like being able to stay on top of task and move them around so easily with the “magic select” feature. Kind of addicting. Makes you want to set up the following day, the night before. Not fluffing your pillows here. The reason why I chose Sorted to be my new mate, is because I believe in her. Lets get the UI up a notch, and bring us into the new cool digital vibe. Don’t be offended by this, because I know you guys have put some serious hours in, but feels a little like the kitchen needs an update is all. Smooth rounded edges etc. And I beg you to make an active email integration a priority. Something missing in most, and its a bit puzzling. Who knows maybe the email client is the one that crumbles that Jenga tower, but there has to be a smoother add versus copy and paste.Appreciate you guys, and the early courtship is promising, but keep me interested, please..

Favorite productivity app

I honestly can't say enough good about this app. Once you learn all the features and customize it to your liking, it's everything you could want it to be. The notes for a task are basically just a body, so you can put bolds, italics, strikethroughs, bulletpoints, checkboxes, photos, drawings, etc etc etc. I prefer this to having one single notes and one list of subtasks, bc then i can add multiple lists of subtasks, photos, and it's all integrated together. It's super easy to schedule things, organize lists and folders, and make it work exactly how your individual mind works. Even their customer service team is responsive, friendly, and super helpful.Truly couldn't ask for much more. I've sent them the features that I want to see (a place to add deadlines that's separate from the scheduling, a way to add stuff to the "Today" planner without changing it's scheduled date, etc), and they said they're keeping those in consideration for future updates. I love knowing the team behind an app actually prioritize productivity and customizability. I'm so glad I can now see all my synced tasks on my computer! A

Where does all my time go?

Sorted has been a wonderful tool for helping me keep track of where my time is going throughout the day. I schedule everything from my daily routine tasks to specific homework assignments I want to work on to estimated time to take my car for an oil change. It really helps me visualize where I have time to fit in things like hobbies or errands so that I can't fall back on the excuse of "not having the time." I love that it's so flexible that I can move things around easily as needed, whether I finish something earlier or later than planned. And I appreciate that incomplete tasks immediately carryover to the next day, which ensures I don't forget about them. I've tried plenty of other task/calendar management apps, but none of them have provided the granularity that Sorted does, which is what I need. If I could request two things to be added it would be: 1) a weekly calendar view - at least maybe on the Mac version, which has a lot of unused screen real estate when the app is opened up fully; and 2) keep completed tasks on the day's timeline view. I really enjoy seeing all of my tasks and events align on the timeline view, but the tasks disappear once they're marked complete, so going back to look at timelines for previous days only shows the events. Neither of these are deal breakers by any means, but I'd love to see them or something similar in the future.

Game changer

I’ve tried a LOT of ToDo apps, and every time, at some point it goes out of control and the list turns into a “wish” list. This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for, a way to SEE the tasks, mixed with calendar events. It’s so much easier to make a realistic plan, and actually get things done, which is hard when your day is filled with lots of meetings, and not a lot of time in between. Add to that emails, slack messages, and constant interruptions... Before, I’d just put stuff on the list, hoping I’d have the time to do it. This approach forces you to really think exactly what you want to accomplish, think how long it would take, so only concrete actionable items are added. Broad tasks don’t make sense. This may not sound real, but this app is really helping me manage my workload, and as a result I feel more focused and less stressed at the end of the day, having accomplished more and without that horrible feeling of realizing you still have lots of things on the list because you couldn’t even finish half of it. Thanks guys for creating this!
