Love this app but won’t do the one thing i need the most… sync right.

I truly love this app but when it comes to syncing the content to another device it is not good at all! I use it to write a story and i make a lot of folders through my iPhone which is the main device i use but if i am using my ipad and want to write something or update something it most of the folders appear cleared as if i never wrote anything on them so then i have to manually rewrite EVERYTHING from scratch which defeats the purpose of syncing… i really want to give it a 5 star but that is truly a deal breaker because other than that it is a great app but i truly lacking on the syncing department. Please fix this because i would love to keep using Noto as my main notes app but i feel like i will have to switch to the regular notes app if it keeps going on which I TRULY don’t want to.

Not the worst

A small step up from the default Notes app on your phone, but most features require you to pay….of course…. a monthly subscription for a notes app, somebody wants to get rich….You can’t change font style or size of text, why would anyone want to do that in a text app? Am I a genius for coming up with that idea? Should I now create an app with a monthly subscription? You get to choose a heading size, that’s it, 1 of 3 different sizes. You can select a font and size per note, or maybe it’s a global setting for all notes…some kind of very limited functionality. If you had the ability to change text font and the developer wasn’t so greedy with the price, it could be a good app.

So good, but with room for growth

This is the best note organizing app I’ve worked with yet. I was a longtime Evernote user and then have used Bear hardcore for the last two years, but needed more organization than tags can provide. My choices came down to Notion, Craft and Noto. Noto wins for my purposes. Notion is too clunky and Craft doesn’t allow for manual organization of notes only sorted lists. Noto not only allows for manual sorting, but makes it instant, intuitive and fun. As I organize thoughts and documents, that is what I want. Now as for room for growth, I would like to see expanded export options. Getting imported content into Noto is a snap, but getting it out seems to be a note by note affair, no group exports. This needs to happen to make this a serious app and is really the only weak spot of great magnitude. Cosmetically, I would like to see more color options for folders and notes, but it’s no deal breaker. The short: the more I use it, the more I like it.

Almost Perfect!

It makes me extremely uncomfortable that if I were to not have my Apple device, I would not be able to access my notes because there is not desktop version of Noto. Also, email linking is primal where syncing is concerned. I like that my notes sync back and forth between my iPad and iPhone. But what if I needed to access my notes from a friends phone? There’s no login feature which kind of makes the app useless to me. I was so pleased with the interface that I jumped the gun paid the $10 yearly fee without researching thoroughly. Now I am regretting it big time. Tags are not crucial, but would be a nice additional add on to organize notes more thoroughly! Other than the three things I mentioned, Noto rocks and is a major upgrade from Apple notes, especially UI wise!

Marvelous App

I have been looking for a Note taking app that would suffice for my everyday note taking and markdown needs, luckily I came across this one. Thus far, this app has exceeded in every criteria I feel like other note apps are slacking in. Feature packed app that is easy to use and easy to understand. I particularly love the option to add and export codes with an array of programming languages available to choose from. This app really separates itself from other note taking apps with it’s simplicity and wonderful UI. The app is super affordable plus you get your money’s worth. I highly recommend this app. Developers, please to add more Themes to the MAC OS app version. Thank you!

The best app I came across

The design is amazing, so useful and simple, I purchased the life time version after 10 minutes using the app it’s just awesome! I love that it has iPad, iPhone and Mac versions! I looked for the app like this forever. Soooo many features! Perfect for business and personal stuff! Thanks to the creators!!!If these features could be added, the app would be priceless:- change color of the text, being able to apply highlight but keep the text black, more highlight colors..- add more forlder colors, maybe custom colors, backgrounds...- if i could import my table to excel (or excel file not just pdf) with one piece or copy info from excel and fill out the table in noto- if I can see the table more far away on the iPad - if I could view what folders I have inside my main folders on the home page instead of opening them all to get to the document- if I could change the background of the page itself or when I look at my files so I know the categories without folders like in Google Notes- create a project, reminder and a due date like in Asana It’s a little baggy but it syncs everything so fast and perfectly so when it shots down I’m not worried

Very good!

This app is very good and functionally does what I need it to. I spent months looking for an app to replace my previous one that is no longer supported. This came the closest to doing what I need. It allows multiple folders and folders within folders, allows both video and photo uploads, allows manual organization and lets you put written notes within the folders (surprisingly some apps don’t allow notes or manual organization!) Like I said, functionally works great. Esthetically, it could use a slight upgrade. It looks almost sterile. The two biggest upgrades I’d like to see that would make it five stars is to allow inserting multiple photos at a time instead of only one by one and to have a number count for the photos. (Such as 1 of 20 etc). I use this to organize my collections using photos and it would be nice to know how many I have simply by clicking on one of the pictures.

Highly recommend, tho it needs a few small improvements

Tl;dr: Solid app, lots of fun and useful features, usable w/o the subscription, but it's cheap and worth it. Turn on "reduce animation", though, to avoid crashes. First the pros. There are multiple fonts and sizes! You can create folders within folders! And pick the colors. There are also quote blocks, horizontal rules, tables. You can insert pictures *and scale them*. You can even add a pic as a bullet point. Plus several other cool features. The cons. I had a ton of crashes until I turned on reduce animation. It was also hard to figure out how to get it to stop italicizing things when I used asterisks or underscores, though I eventually did. When you highlight a word there's no "look up" options. Whatever the reason for this is, it needs to be fixed! Did I spell that word right, my predictive text seemed pretty confused? Did I just make it up? Idk cause I can't look it up from the app. Also, the most recent update seems to have changed the bullet points from whatever color the folder is to a boring white (presumably black in light mode). That was one of my favorite "little touches". I won't die, but still. Sort of a con is that many of those features require a subscription. Which it's certainly worth paying for, just the whole subscription thing is kind of annoying to me. But. The price is not at all bad, and it's a one-year sub, so I can live with it.

Favorite Everyday Notes App

This is my go-to notes app for daily use. The layout is beautiful and simple to navigate, with customizable colors for its nestable folders and multiple background options for light/dark mode. I’m able to mark important notes and folders by pinning them, both at root level and within folders. The text style options are more than enough for most user needs. Attaching or inserting photos, documents, drawings is simple. Access to the app can be locked (Face ID compatible), and single notes can be password protected. My only complaints are 1) the widget no longer displays my chosen (or any) notes in iOS 16.0.2 on an iPhone 14 Pro, and 2) the password reminder for individual notes is hidden behind the lock symbol, so I am unable to access them.

I love it! More than Apple Notes!

I love it a lot. It has sooooo many options & I can organize it the way i want with so much flexibility! I love how there so many colors & I love how the scanner works perfectly! Whoever did this app I must thank you for it. This app reminds me of goodnote. I like the new update so i can keep my secret notes to myself. I would like to see more things such as: more fonts, more variety of color spectrum, more options of saving videos, more options for the math tools such as me writing a formula & it automatically creates whatever I want. Thank you so much. Im glad I have it.
