So many bugs
What pretty much all the complaints here says. The remote doesn’t connect more than half the time. When it does connect, it works. Then sometimes the navigation arrows switch up and are doing the opposite of what you want it to do. So you have to close out of the app and back in. Then it disconnects. Once it connects back to your tv, it randomly turns it off. So annoying. $4 for a broken remote

Definitely works
Got ripped off by SonyMote but this app works. Upgraded to the pro version because these guys did it right. I look forward to any future updates (although I don’t know what’s needed yet). Thank!
Works really well, except...
Great app with lots of functionality. However, I often turn off my TV using the app and then lock my phone. Then when i unlock my phone, my TV automatically boots back up, but the app was briefly open before I switch to do something, else. Can you make it so you have to press the power button to turn it on, or make it a toggle setting “Automatically turn on when opening the app”Thanks!
Doesn’t always connect and buggy
Half the time this app can’t connect to the TV, I typically have to restart it 2 or 3 times before it finds the TV, and then it can take upwards of 30Seconds to connect. If I turn off my phone screen then re-enter the app, it connects but the directional buttons are all backwards, left is right, up is down, etc. Finally, merely starting the app turns the TV on when it connects, however there is no indicator as to whether the TV is currently on or off in the app. The number of times I’ve gone to close the app while upstairs in the middle of the night then had to go downstairs to see if the TV was on is ridiculous. For a paid app, this is absolutely terrible and the developers should be ashamed. I’m a software engineer and if I ever built anything this bad I would probably quit out of embarrassment. I’m giving it 2 stars because in the rare occasion it connects, it does actually control the TV.
Question
I was really excited about finding this remote. However the free version only offers such limited access that I can’t actually tell if it would work or I would purchase the full version. I’ve been burned like that in the past. So without knowing it would work I can’t purchased for app.
Paid for it, works 50% of the time and usually backwords controls!
Stay away! Dont be fooled! This app seemed good when i first got it, but it is trash. Turns on my TV randomly, then it won't find my TV or identifies my TV and wont connect to it.. shows me the name and just tells me to make sure they are on the same wifi network ( always has been on the same wifi when it works or not!) and when it does work the controls randomly flip backwards.. So right is left, fast forward is rewind etc!! been like this over a year.. Just fed up with this trash of an app!! It is terrible especiallybsince i paid for it! If the demo works, do not commit! You will regret it later, i do!
Works!!!!!!
I downloaded a few and at least this one works. I downloaded Sonymote and it did not work. This is the real deal. Looks like it does not do the voice control but Netflix and all your apps you can control with the remote on your iPhone.
Functional and works as advertised but could be better
App works just as advertised and that’s great! That said there is a lot of room for improvement. Not saying it’s bad but saying it could be a lot better. Change the directional keys area behave like track pad. Reposition it to move it down so it’s easier to use. Let us reposition the TV apps on the third screen.

The app actually works and it’s good as far as my usage goes, I would love if they would edit the way you increase/decrease volume I’m sure some other buttons as well, can only think right now about volume anyway it should be something like Netflix where instead of pressing and pressing you would hold the button move it up or down to change volume. Oh also I remember ones it was hectic to try type in search I don’t know if it’s an issue with TV systems or maybe it can be fix I’m talking about instead of going letter by letter it would be easier to just type in app then it would show on the TV.Thank you!
