Customer service

Not a happy camper here. I loved it until I couldn’t dial and text out to my clients. I am still able to receive calls and text but no outgoing. So I’ve been trying to contact Aaron and Jose but they’re ghosting me…I wish I could show all my emails I’ve been sending them pleading for my account info to transfer/port my number to another carrier. I google “Alloy” business and it list a number to another company. I just don’t know what to do at this point..I have this number listed on my business cards, flyers, webpage and lots of other places. If you’re thinking of getting this company DONT do it…no customer service is available.

Please read this and I guarantee you will not use this app

I have never written a review for an app before but I was so disgusted by this one I went out of my way to do so. If you’re looking to use this app for verification purposes then don’t do it. Even after signing up for the trial period and inputting my payment information, once you setup your phone number etc. you will receive a message that states “these type of messages are only for after the trial period.” Unbelievable. On top of that, it’s one of the few apps that make you input your phone number to even start using it. I would rate this as one of the dirtiest/scammiest apps I’ve ever used.

Deleted number no way to get it back

I paid for the subscription, after reading mostly positive reviews, and used the app a total of three days, as a business line. Had already given the number out to clients, and day four, the app reset and wouldn’t let me get past the “choose a state” without following the prompts , RE-Purchasing the subscription, and choosing a completely different number! Original number LOST, trust from clients LOST, because now I look either foolish, unorganized, or unethical, calling from a different number, and having to give them a different number to call. I deleted the app. 😡

Trouble Resolved

Had a tough time getting an issue resolved initially. Tech support couldn’t help. It turns out that I inadvertently blocked the 2L contact within my phone which caused all calls to go to my main mobile line. It took a bit of back and forth but they kept at it and figured it out for me. I’m looking forward to continuing my service. Now that everything is working properly, I’m pleased with the app.

Scam seems

So I downloaded this yesterday for our business,even signed up for the month… when i went to register it kept telling me there was an error that the account already existed and for over 20 minutes no matter what password i tried to make, it kept telling me it already existed. Finally after clicking forgot password (even though i was just registering a new account) i changed it and it refused to let me log in. Kept telling me something went wrong try again. Kept trying and same thing. My hubby tried the exact same thing i did, change password and it refuses to let us log in. Needless to say I canceled the subscription, so i better dam well not get charged anything! Dont waste your time on trying this, i believe this is a scam for your money

This app used to be great but…..

I used to love this app but now it’s barely useful to me. No one can call me. It goes straight to voicemail and only shows up to me as a missed call. I have contacted support and followed all the steps they gave me to no avail. To make matters worse it doesn’t send me notifications either. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but it hadn’t helped. I have verified my linked number several times with no success. I’m at my wits end! I suppose I will just have to find a new app to use. I’m sad about that because I will have to get a new number but this one no longer works for me.

Awful

Unfortunately I’ve had this app for years as a business line. It’s always been unreliable but it was cheaper than paying for an actual 2nd phone. Recently it hasn’t been sending my text, notifying me of new text, and the “away message” feature (which is the ENTIRE REASON I got the app) says “unavailable at the moment” when I try to use it. Customer support is no help. It’s almost as if they try to make the issue my fault. They just tell me to redownload the app (like I haven’t already tried that) or that it “should be working”. I now have finally had to get an actual second phone with a real reliable carrier, but we all know it tough to switch numbers when you own a business and everyone has the old one (the reason I stayed with this app so long). Thanks for making my life more difficult, 2nd line. 0 stars. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

NOT a scam app. Good second line.

Whoever said this was a scam apparently doesn’t know how to work the app. I got this to use for my work number (I’m an independent contractor) because I didn’t want to give my actual number to everyone. The app works great. I can set work hours, auto replies and do not disturb. My only complaint is I can’t group text and it’s something I really would like to be able to do as I send the same text to large groups of other contractors.

Fits my need

I was looking for a second like that wasn’t too expensive to use with my business but can also provide more than google voice and I found it in 2Line. I would definitely recommend this app. It’s not free but I think it’s priced well. I’m able to brand all my text with my logo and set personal response to missed calls… out of office…. Which is awesome!

Fast & efficient support desk

Aaron M. from the support desk was AMAZING! I made a second line to include as an RSVP number for my upcoming wedding and started the free trial and assumed they would charge my account after the trial well I noticed the account had signed me out and had a meltdown because I sent out invitations with the number on it so I reached out to customer support thinking I wouldn’t hear back until a few days later. Well I thought wrong a minute after I sent my email Aaron M responded and helped me right away and was able to reinstate my number. You saved me from a line of chaos. I appreciate how fast and efficient you were.Thank You.
