Deliberate laggers

As we all know, some people can stand to lose so they cheat. I have experience several times were someone deliberately had the game lag were I was unable to play my turn. This obviously caused me to miss a turn or even forfeit the game and allow them to win the match. Very very aggravating and weak for one to do so!! Absolutely nothing one can do to stop it or even nothing to do to detect before the game starts. Moonpye

Pool stars

The cue ball works but you have to hold the ball drag your finger to where the ball is and then move it to whatever angle you want it. I like the game a lot but I do wish that the cue ball didn't disappear once you touched it.

Update?

It’s a good app...plays a lot like the real game and much better then anything else I’ve seen since Yahoo pool from years ago.(that was an amazing app; seriously good physics) Too bad this one and Yahoo are no longer available Recommend any others?

Problems loading

I loaded the game and started playing, two things hit me right away, the cue ball control would not work. If I tapped the icon it would flash on the screen for a second then disappear. I tried holding the icon down and adjusting with my other hand but that did not work either. I see other players using English so I know it works for some. Also the chat screen, when I press it the screen just gets grayed out and the few games, the game starts and then I get booted out of the game entirely and back to home screen. I like the game t not the frustration, can you help.John.

Hate the point system

I got up to 1600 points. I beat someone with 1200 points 3 times and gained 7 points per each of those games. Then I lost 1 game and I ended up losing 25 points from just 1 game. So basically we played 4 games, I won 3-1 and I gained 21 points while they gained 25. That point system is terrible. You should gain the same amount of points no matter who you play. Other then that the game is great.

Not connecting

First off let me tell you how to get the cue ball spin to work. Hold your finger down on it and then slide up to the pop up ball and adjust what spin you want. You need to buy a better stick to get much spin. But I would not waste your time with this game. Definitely don't spend any real money on it. The app ran fine for a few days then refused to make a connection. Emails as to why have gone unanswered. Any real money spent would have been a waste as the game now does not run. It was a nice game while it worked but now it's just taking up memory.

Incredibly realistic!

Truly enjoy the game. It has everything I'm looking for in a pool game; accuracy, challenges and rewards. If there was anything to improve it might be a means to communicate my own messages with other players, but the stock messages are still fun to use.

Been playing for years

I've been playing this game for years but after reading some of these reviews for the first time, I realize just how bad it is. I've experienced a lot of the same issues that others complain about. Overall I think it's a pretty good game but could stand some upgrades. When I see some of the graphics that other pool games have, this one looks old. I know I've been playing this game for at least 8 years and have seen no changes.

Waste of Time - Do Not Download

What a waste of time, they start you of with about 20-30 Rubies and it cost 7 to play a table after you play just a few game you either have to wait 24 hours to get 3 Free Rubies or pay Real Money and as you all know only Stupid people would pay Real Money to play a phone pool game. No than you, ill just keep playing 8 Ball Pool for FREE. The developers of this app are greedy as they come, give them your money if you want but you've been worn.

Good app but,,,,,,

Pretty good app, just would like to know how to use English on the cue. And hate it when they use your ball to pot the 8 ball !!! Clearly hits your ball 1st then the 8 ball drops, how is that fair??And the other problem keeping track of games won , I have many times won ten in a row , but it doesn't give me credit. If you lose , it subtracts it imeditaly,
