Love it BUT it distorts my Audio! :(

Oh wow. I was so so excited to export my little IG video, this app is so cool. I even purchased the full bundle so I was so disappointed when I exported. The background music from the original export on my MacBook was totally peaked and distorted. I tried reexporting - same thing. Tried searching for an Audio function within the app - am I missing something?? I compared the Original video (before filtering within this app) on my iPhone to both the exported and reexported versions from this app and yes, both the xports from this app are totally distorted in the music. I would love the developer to fix this.. does anyone know what’s happening? Thanks!! p.s. I clicked App Support and it bumped me to Page Not Found. Such a shame..

Desaturating My Vids

Been using this app (paid version) for years now & love it but all of a sudden it’s been showing my imported videos to be super saturated & bluish tinted compared to how they look like on my normal phone view. I normally edit in another app then use this app to add the texture filters so I’m super bummed it’s ruining my original edits I create in VSCO. If there is a solution to this bug, I would move my rating to 5 stars.

Will modify when I can speak to you guys to a 5

My app was uninstalled when phone was too full and then when I go to reinstall it won’t open. When I turn on what I find is that it never fully uninstalled (it shows a shell of itself on my mobile desktop) and so because it never fully uninstalled I can neither open it or reinstall. Here in App Store I cant install as it still says “open” but then crashes my phone. Again it’s just like a shell of itself when I restart phone - even a cold reset. It’s literally half uninstalled. I really love this app and want to use it daily again. Sadly it’s not allowing me to anymore. Happy to modify this review / rating when this is fixed x

Needs Improvement

I used to use chromic for the longest time. Maybe a year and a half. It was amazing to me at the time. But with time, I realized that it needs some improvement. 1) After exporting, the audio is destroyed. Keeping the audio in a video to the best quality possible is SO IMPORTANT to make amazing videos. 2) When choosing a filter to use it gives you a preview, but once you export it, it’s not exactly the same as the preview. After exporting I would get a more redish purple tones in the video. That needs to be fixed because I love how my videos look in the app while editing and then disappointed once I export. 3) After exporting I would love if the quality could stay higher or something because after using it, it does decrease the video quality a little and quality is another important thing needed for making great videos. I hope you guys will see this and fix something. Sincerely, a happy user.

Works really well

Awesome app it took my action sports videos from novice to at least intermediate if not expert level. I did have to purchase one of the in app purchases to get it to do what I wanted however, which was color correct my bland GoPro videos. Does what I need it to very well and is really easy to use but does take a while to render each video after editing. All in all great app that could benefit from a little slight performance upgrades

I want my money back bruh.

I recently made a purchase for $4.99 for the full pack but I ended up being a bit dissatisfied. I wanted to restore my purchases and only make a purchase for $0.99 for the black and white vintage features and not the full pack. But for some reason the restore option won’t pop up. And I was trying to look to see if there was an option to click for the settings or whatever but there isn’t one.

Best filters and user interface, best app for video I wish they would update it more

downloaded probably 30 different apps looking for one that functions and easily as this one with good filters and there isn’t a single app that’s as good. I wish they kept up with this one more and updated it more o

Great film look app but...

I’ve been looking for a while now to find an app that strips the video look from my footage and creates a more organic, analog aesthetic. I found it with this app and I really love using it. It’s really basic but perfect for my needs. I use it on my iPad and the biggest pain is that it does not have a horizontal mode. This is just crazy to me because I have a keyboard attached and I do all my video editing with the iPad in a horizontal position. Given that it’s been a year since the developer updated the app, I’m not confident, this will ever be implemented. It would be a five-star app otherwise.

Slow motion audio

I can’t see why it distorts the audio. But it does. It must tweak it some. I had a slow motion clip of my mountain biking, and it was visually improved significantly. However, the audio during slow motion was disgusting, I went back to the original clip to see if it used to sound that poorly and it doesn’t. And sadly for vertical videos I can’t add the audio back in via iMovie. This small refinement would make me pretty happy.

overall it’s great, but...

I purchased a filter already, but then when I went to restore it, it loaded for so long, but I didn’t get it. Until now, it’s still loading, but it’s stuck there. I don’t really know what’s wrong because my connection was good. someone help me please, because I wanna purchase all the filters, I’m just unsure if the same thing is gonna happen to it.
