Can’t skip/pause tutorial

I didn’t get past the first shape, because there was no way to pause the game, and set my preferences. When I play a game, I want to turn off the background music, the audio feedback, and the ads. If I have to pay a bit of money to do that, it’s fine. It’s a couple of bucks, and I can move on. Immediately as I open the app, really annoying ad which is pulling focus and moving shows up on the top of my screen. The music starts. The blocks make all kinds of noises. I want none of that to annoy me. The app forces that tutorial, with no way to pause it and set prefs, or skip it. Downloaded, had fun for all of five seconds, got annoyed that I couldn’t turn off annoyances, and then promptly deleted it.

Fun!

This is a nice satisfying game that is somewhat reminiscent of fun old school arcade games like Tetris, but with a definite unique, challenging and addicting twist, but without losing the simplicity and understandability of a fun easy arcade game. Also, it may seem easy at first, but don’t worry, it’ll start to get challenging. The good thing is that it doesn’t get harder so fast that the game isn’t fun. I really like this game! Perfect for when you’re bored or just want something fun to sit back and play and relax with. Thanks y’all for pliq!

Ads..

Like most other reviews, I have come to say that this game has an overwhelming amount of ads. The “X” pops up after a few seconds, but then doesn’t let me press it to skip. Which means I have to watch a 20+ second ad every 30 seconds. You’d make more money with less ads. The game would be more enjoyable and you’d attract more players which would help you make a bigger profit in the long run. Take other big games for example. Clash of Clans doesn’t have ads; Instead they use in app purchases to make money.

Don’t give them a dime

Enjoy the game greatly as a Tetris-like game to zone out to. The game plays tons of ads but has a paid way to remove them. I attempted to purchase this ad removal and the game told me the payment failed. The game charged my account but still played the ads. I attempted refreshing and reprocessing the payment. In the end the app charged me three times and still plays ads. Two weeks ago today I emailed their support. Five days and four emails later they finally reached back out, apologizing for the “bug” and asking if I’d connected the app on Facebook or tried refreshing the payments. I’ve sent five more emails explaining what I’ve attempted with screenshots of the issue, asking for help of any kind, and asking for a refund on the two extra payments. I truly like the game and would be willing to pay to remove the ads, but by now they still have yet to respond again, the game still plays ads, and I’m done. I’ve asked for a full refund five days ago and still have not heard from them nor seen my refund. Enjoy the game, but don’t give them anything. I’m extremely disappointed. 👎

Pain in the Ad

Looked clever and I was enjoying the first few levels until the first ad popped. Impossibly small “x” to close the ad, brought me to the App Store twice after I supposedly missed the x, then I still had to interact with the ad some more in order to get rid of it. If I could have played the game for more than just a couple of minutes and then just paid for it, I probably would have. What manipulative nonsense.

😄AMAZING😄

This game is by far my most favorite puzzle game! Since we’ve been in quarantine this game has kept me busy for a long time! This game does not need any fixes for me and going at its best rate! I hope you can keep this game going and continue adding on fun little features that other people may suggest for you! Keep Pliq AMAZING! :)

A developer that cares.

Below I’ve quoted my original review of this game. In next to no time the developer responded with an acknowledgement of my concern, and a fix so that I could enjoy the game fully! I’m sold. :D“This game is SUPER fun and addicting! But it doesn’t pause when the ads pop on... that is really frustrating because I lose progress that way. Can that be fixed please?”

Don’t Buy Turn Off Ads, There’s An Easier Way

The game is really fun apart from the ads, similar to many other games. But by turning off cellular data for the game, as well as disabling WiFi, ads are no more. The game is super fun and satisfying, and I’ve heard buying “no ads” doesn’t even work. The game I really nice to play without ads interrupting you, and I love the simple colors and look of the game. Great game, super fun.

Perfect

My favorite thing about this game is how it almost seems to work with you. Like when I’m getting overwhelmed, I almost always get a couple simple rows and get caught back up. It’s easy without being boring, and it’s challenging without being impossible. The ads feel a little more frequent than expected from other free games, but it doesn’t deter me from playing.

WOW

I love this game. I’ve poured hours and hours into it and still never gets old. I simply love the gameplay of it. It’s the perfect difficulty and is easy to play whenever. I also love the fact how there aren’t ads every 5 seconds, although I do want to buy no ads one day… Anyways this game is just the best every, I love everything about it and love it so so much. I also really like how the colors change. The only thing I don’t like is how when you get 20,000 points it pops up on the screen for so long, maybe instead of filling the whole screen it could just be a little pop up to the side that doesn’t cover the gameplay, that is my only complaint. Other then that this is the best game every. Please download it. (I was not paid or told to make this review) Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
