Needs More Work Done on App!

It’s ok but it can be better on the pick options part and it needs more categories to choose from instead of “I’m not sure option” like a Snap, Heap, TA & Medical! Plus a writing a Statement option to send… then I would give more stars & write another review! Cheers PS. I Do Like the APP!!! & I do Recommend to people who can’t take time off to drop important documents!

Being able to provide documents.

If a client has a printed hard copy of a document then it can be taken via cell phone camera and uploaded. However there needs to be another function. Should be able to use camera to access screenshots or documents not able to print for proof of verification and assist with sending all requested income and any other documents. Hope this helps. It’s not efficient to only complete half a task.

Thank You

Hi. I am so Happy right now. I was able to submit my info quite easily. Now I do not need to go to an office to give this info to someone. Even easier than mailing it as well. I really had no problems using this App. Now Westchester has the info they need, so I get the services I need. Thanks.

App for uploading requested docs

I love how there is now an app to upload requested documents to local DSS offices, I just wish clients were able to screenshot from their phones and upload that way as well. Many people have their paystubs, lease, copies of fuel bills, etc…. On their phones and because they are unable to screenshot, it takes the convenience away from them bc they have to figure out where to go to print the documents first before capturing them to upload to local offices. Glad government offices are trying to get with the times though 👌

Getting there

I’ve used this app for several forms. It could use some improvement. On an iPad, the keyboard will block the next button. When submitting more than one photo, it remembers some of your info but not all. I shouldn’t have to type in the same info over and over again when it remembers other info. Also, it can’t accept pics from our camera roll so we have to take new pics of docs we may have already used with other forms. We also can’t see the pics we’ve submitted. They’re kept in the app but we can’t review and re-use them even in the app.

Recertification

With the pandemic and everything be closed down, this app is very detailed and taking pictures of your wages or if something changes all you have to do is use this app take a picture and it gets uploaded to your account.

Great optional service

This is such a fast, convenient and safe way to submit any documents needed for our cases. I usually drop off my documents personally at the office since I don’t trust the mailing services with my personal documents. So now I won’t need to drive and still know the agency will receive my papers privately and securely.

Doesn’t allow file/photo upload thats already taken

I was really looking forward to using this and it working. Now I find out it’s only for taking photos and won’t let me upload the document pictures I already took. Like everything else in New York State is ended up not being useful, not working, and leaving me unable to submit my documents. Another let down. I can’t take a picture of a digital document and have no way to print them or get paper copies. Let’s face it, my body is probably shutting down and I’ll probably be dead before I get any help from New York State.

Very easy to use

This app is a very convenient way to upload documents to the department of social services. Much easier than having to go to the department and submit them, which for people without transportation is a very big issue. My only suggestion would be to allow the submission of screenshots. Sometimes the information that you need to submit is in an app on your phone, and the taking of live shots requires either printing out the item and taking a photo or downloading the app onto a second device to take a photo of the original device. Not everyone has access to a printer or a second device.

This app is dumb!

How is it, in the modern age of technology, the creators of this app only thought to allow you ONLY to be able to photograph a document? You can’t upload a document, directly from your photo album, or files on your smartphone, which would make it much easier to utilize the system! Since I can’t upload my documents/photos, now, I have to go find a library, or place to print out documents from my phone, ust to have to now, travel once again to deliver those documents, which wouldn’t help my situation if I was broke. Because, it’s now costing money in unnecessary travel, and printing fees! POINT IS… WHY CANT PEOPLE UPLOAD DOCUMENTS DIRECTLY? LIKE EVERY MODERN WEBSITE?
