Too expensive, Inaccessible

too expensive… but I loved the app. For my free trial week. 1 week. Really helped w insights into different ways of thinking. But the basic version is so much moreLimited I had to delete, it’s not even the same app. Im a college student and I have been struggling with assignments, due dates, procrastinating, you name it; especially the last semester. The app is good, but I can’t give it 5 stars, because it’s inaccessible to a lot of people, especially those that could benefit from it most, college students, young adults, etc. it’s just entirely too expensive. $15 a month is quite insane. But it’s a good app. The developers and the company overall should have a different mindset about ALLOWING and OPENING up their products and creation and services to more people that want access and could benefit from it. It should be more accessible. Cheaper price or discounts, or scholarship program, or more functionality and less limits on the basic version. What’s the point of this app, or any knowledge, art, insights, etc. if you can’t share it with others and don’t allow access to most people. Don’t let greed shroud what truly matters.

Some bugs that are really distracting!

The story is read by an artificial voice and the page will sometimes repeat itself instead of advancing or repeat the first word and then advance which is super distracting and that is all I can focus on instead of the content it is providing.

Disappointed

I was super thrilled when I saw this app. I’m constantly trying to find apps to help me stay on task and keep me interested in remembering. When I saw that you have to subscribe not only for 15$ a month but also without getting to see any of the app WITHOUT a free trial. That was super disappointing. I’m sixteen. I have adhd. And if I were to take the offer of a free trial I would forget tomorrow I even did it and never cancel it. I think if it were priced a lot less I might consider a subscription. But it really just feels like a profit off of individuals with mental health issues. Don’t recommend.

Lag in the videos

I wanted to like this app, but the lag is so bad in the informational videos. The person doesn’t finish what they were saying in time and the video cuts off to the next slide. It defeats the whole purpose. I couldn’t do I had to delete the app. It was upsetting me and my brain is not good with processing information by just reading it, other wise I will do it over and over and over again, and will not process any information. :(

Double charged

I downloaded the app. Never used it after the first day. I forgot to cancel before my trial ended and was charged 65 dollars for 6 months. I was supposed to get a reminder to cancel but I did not. I have requested a refund so I hope I get one. But after looking at my PayPal account I realized not only was I charged for a 6 month subscription but also a monthly subscription, and even though I had already cancelled at least 2 weeks ago (I can’t remember for sure). I was charged another month subscription fee. I have been charged $97 for an app I am not using and 32 of that should have never been charged. Plus, the most current charge will over draw my bank account so I will also have to pay an overdraft fee from them!

ADHD behind a huge paywall

Look, I absolutely agree that developers should be paid for their hard work. However, to take advantage of people with ADHD (which is a federally recognized disability) by putting resources to help manage it behind a paywall to the tune of $16/month when most of America is struggling financially is absurd. Especially when there are SO many reported bugs! In a previous response to the price from the developers on another review, they mentioned having a 4 person team they needed to pay to work full time on the app. There shouldn’t be this many bugs from a full time team. It seems the switch to full time development was too eager too soon. I just can’t justify the cost.

Helps Me Gameify Adulting

Boomers beware bc this review will make your head spin, but if you’re ADHD/ASD you’ll understand exactly what I mean. I cannot force myself to do tasks that aren’t enjoyable. This app has everything I’ve ever wanted and I’m only on day one; intuitive and eye catching graphics, helpful tips and strategies, a sense of community, and constant rewards for doing even the tiniest thing so my brain is motivated to keep going. My biggest issue has always been following through on tasks and I really think this app has the lasting power to help me conquer that hurdle. Will update as I use more!

I have raging ADHD

This is a well designed app and the friend accountability aspect is nice. Unless I get nothing done. Lol There are a few tweaks that would make this great. Being able to easily edit and delete tasks would help, general timer would be great too. I’ve tried every adhd app, this is the best so far. The gamification is cool. Sub tasks is a MUST!!! Good job. Almost there. As I head to the shower I’m reminded about shower buddy who would talk you through tasks in the shower to keep you on track. Something like that would be great. Lastly the prioritization should be a series of pair wise comparisons to see which is most important or pressing. Used to be an app called “which thing first” that did this very well until updates.. ok 👍

good but needs improvements

there are many things that this app does well, but there are two main issues that would prevent me from subscribing. first, this app does not seem to be written well in english. i am not sure if it’s translated to english, but either way it needs to be written better. it’s written well enough that i know what it’s saying, but it takes a lot of mental energy to understand. secondly, $15-$16 a month is waaaaaaaay too expensive for this app. especially considering this app is for people with ADHD, it should be priced at $1-$3/month. with those improvements, i would definitely subscribe and continue using this app. and before i get a reply from one of the app developers saying “oh but a subscription to this app is ____ less than an ADHD coach on average,” why do you think so many of us don’t seek out ADHD coaches? when you price the app so highly it makes me feel as though the app is trying to profit from my disability rather than help. if these changes are made i will happily edit my review to 5 stars, because otherwise i think the app has some very useful features. also, just wanted to add that it’s very obvious that lots of the reviews are fake, which feels dishonest especially when creating an app to help individuals with ADHD.

Overwhelming

I’m just on my free trail which I did already go into iTunes and cancel so that it won’t renew after 7 days. There isn’t clear directions on how the set up will go and it made me very anxious and overwhelmed just trying to creat my account. The silly questions about my ADHD being an animal or character made me very uncomfortable and I almost quit at that point. My ADHD isn’t some joke you can make a story about it’s my life and I’m learning to deal with it everyday. From what I can see the APP is average you can tell the people who created it were attempting to gear it towards people with ADHD but just have the text book knowledge of what it’s like.
