Ahhhh the GIFs!

I can’t even get past the first two test questions because of the super-distracting GIFs on each page. Reading and re-reading while trying to ignore the moving images made me rage-quit. Can’t you remove those? Opt to minimize or hide them if you’re taking the test? I’ll probably never open this app again if I can’t make it through the first section. Maybe that’s my sign.

Thank you!!

Even though the GIFs are a little distracting, I still managed to complete the quiz. It really helped me see clearly what I struggle with. I like that it showed how much of both inattentive or impulsive you are. Also, just know that if you struggle with ADHD symptoms, you’re not alone. 😊

Quick and easy confirmation

This was another way for me to easily confirm what I believe about having ADHD. Recently I was told my lack of concentration and inability to get thing organized was do to past trauma. If this was 11 yrs ago I might agree, but considering I’ve dealt with the trauma and all my ADHD symptoms are still going strong and interfering in my life I do not agree. Thanks for this tool!

Direct questions

When I’m nervous or in general I talk too much. My family has never really believed in the whole mental health thing. They think it’s a weakness to have a mental health issue, but the questions made me realize that maybe I’ve been living my life wrong. I’m super impulsive, talk too much, walk away from things that bore me, and I have hundreds of unfinished knitting and crochet projects that live in various parts of my home.

Concise and Consistent

I appreciate the consistency of how the questions were arranged and how concise they’re developed. It assists in pinpointing where each persons deficits are; given the circumstance, and the frequency by how often they’re enacted. Nice, thank you.

Easy test

They took me to a review section before I could read/understand my test results. However, the test itself was really easy and quick!

Description

Fun and easy self-assessment for adult ADHD. Based on a science-proven ASRS-v1.1 symptom checklist. The science behind it: **The Value of Screening for Adults With ADHD** Research suggests that the symptoms of ADHD can persist into adulthood, having a significant impact on the relationships, careers, and even the personal safety of your patients who may suffer from it.

Because this disorder is often misunderstood, many people who have it do not receive appropriate treatment and, as a result, may never reach their full potential. Part of the problem is that it can be difficult to diagnose, particularly in adults. The Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) Symptom Checklist was developed in conjunction with the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Workgroup on Adult ADHD. The Symptom Checklist is an instrument consisting of the eighteen DSM-IV-TR criteria. Six of the eighteen questions were found to be the most predictive of symptoms consistent with ADHD. These six questions are the basis for the ASRS v1.1 Screener and are also Part A of the Symptom Checklist. Part B of the Symptom Checklist contains the remaining twelve questions. How Accurate Is It? This quiz is NOT a diagnostic tool. Mental health disorders can only be diagnosed by qualified mental health professionals.
