The login experience is most bewildering with one pass needed for something’s and having to connect to a Singtel network for others. I was regularly using the app to sync step data, but for the last 2 weeks (and even after updating and even reinstalling the app) step up doesn’t sync saying not connected to Singtel network when I very much amNot sure if the developers even read the feedback, but posting if they do.
Forced to update app (142meg) via Roaming before can log in. When you buy roaming, can get a message saying “having a problem now”, but then no warning a day or 2later that the purchase STILL didn’t go through, so instantly get changed $10 when your previous package expires & it switches to pay-per-use. The whole system is setup to hard to use, and to sneakily charge you $$s for mistakes.
It doesn’t work from a mobile app. You can’t rename the pdf file of the bill. It downloads the file in some gibberish file name. Moreover it’s very hard to send the bill via email, what’s app, WeChat, Line, Messenger, Viber. It is completely useless in the face of the fact that it’s attached and concerns a mobile device. To require the download and work to be done by computer is silly bordering on the ludicrous. Whoever has designed it obviously only uses a computer and does not use a mobile device as a smartphone but uses it as a phone only. It’s the most archaic structure that highlights the fact that the designer is not tech savvy at all. People use their phones not only to make calls but it’s myriad of applications - a smartphone. That’s why they pay the same amount for their smartphones as they do for a computer. It’s time Singtel woke up to that fact.
I can’t believe it’s 2022 and CIS customers still can’t sign up for OnePass access. These are not corporate accounts. By SingTel’s own terms of service, they’re individual accounts that get corporate group rates. Without OnePass, the ability to see services or bills is extremely limited. I want to say SingTel is still run like a public utility but Singapore’s utilities are better run than this.

This is just a feedback. The new features help us find you is very disruptive for overseas users since we won’t be installing this app on a phone with the sg sim card. Previously or should i say at least 6-9 months ago it was very good as without this ‘new downgrade’ feature i was able to use face id to log in. Instead of forcing all users to be faced with this feature. I would recommend you have a way to ask the user if they are using this app on their sg sim card or not
I think the app is great, overall. I travel frequently, every other week, and I find the app very useful. Two major annoyances though, one worth two out of three stars off.- App is very slow. Unbelievably slow, even though I'm in their home network, just a couple of hops away from the server. I just don't get it, how could they make it so slow? That must have been intentional!- The worst offender of the well-designed UX are ToS and full-on App walk-thru guide that are triggered on every app update and sometimes in between, it seems. This is the most annoying thing ever! Here's what I mumble to myself as I fight through 20 taps of on-boarding: "I've been a customer for 4 years, bought two iphones from you, pay you 300 bucks a month on average and sure as heck I launch an app at least several times a month. For god's sake, STOP!
If you are buying a prepaid sim while traveling you probably need service asap. Do not buy the card from a convenience store. With this company you’ll struggle for hours with their self registration. The help service are just robots. Find a live mobile service rep who can get you going immediately.
The app requires you to update (or otherwise you won’t be able to use it), every other week. Main purpose (and often sole purpose) of the app is just to pay bills and the forced update is getting too much. Further more, you can’t use Amex to pay bills using the app (you’ll have to use to web version to do so).
Exceeded my expectation, an informative and user friendly app that greatly help to view my Singtel mobile account anytime. Great app!
