Most comprehensive workout app for Moms!

This app is the best! I got to “know” Nancy after I had my first and completed her Ab Rehab program. I love her style so much and appreciate all her knowledge in regards to both fitness and nutrition. I knew I couldn’t wait to use MYB with my next pregnancy. When I got pregnant I was excited to pause my Treadthrill account and make MYB my full time app of choice. This app gives you so many options to make the best of your workout in any given day as we all know every day in pregnancy is different. Every exercise routine has built-in modifications you may need depending on how you feel that day/how baby is sitting etc. I loved the bumpcamp options and labor training videos. I also utilized the Ab connection videos throughout my pregnancy to optimize core function. With this app I was able (and motivated!!!) to workout 3-5x a week during my pregnancy up until the day I went into labor! Thanks to this app I stayed in decent shape and only gained 15lbs which I credit in large part to staying so motivated and active with MYB. Thank you, Nancy, Jesse, Lexi and Lari and team! I’ll see you all next pregnancy!

terrible and outdated app (exercises ok though)

I used this app for 5 months of pregnancy and 7 weeks postpartum. The video content shows you workout moves that are safe pre and post baby, saving you the time and effort it takes to research otherwise. However, the app’s functionality and user experience are TERRIBLE. Very hard to navigate as there is no filtering functionality and the categories for workouts are not intuitive. It takes 8 clicks to get to something that should only take 3. The music is weird (lots of EDM but then you find cheesy songs like the OC’s Forever Young sprinkled in), there is no closed captioning available, and the instructors are inconsistent (e.g., any workout with Larissa is way easier than with Nancy but it doesn’t tell you that a workout is beginner or advanced, and there is no functionality for users to rate workouts). The postpartum content is especially subpar, which led me to cancel my subscription. There are literally multiple 10-min videos of Nancy just talking with a physical therapist. This is NOT how people consume content today! This experience may have been OK 15 years ago, but this app needs a serious refresh. On top of that, it is very overpriced at $30/month when apps like Peloton are $13/month with a much better UX and more comprehensive content that keeps getting updated (including some pre/postnatal workouts). Overall I’m a disappointed mama with this app.

Well Worth It-Great Prenatal/Postpartum Content

I’m a first time mom who works in fitness. Before finding Nancy’s program Move Your Bump, I had purchased another prenatal workout program, but it was monotonous with little variety which made it difficult for me to commit to doing. Thankfully, I discovered Move Your Bump and am so glad I did! There is a wide variety of workouts broken down by trimester, including barre, strength, conditioning, posture, stretching, dance cardio, just to name a few. She even has sections for Trying to Conceive and Postpartum. The content is thoughtfully curated and safe for all stages of pregnancy which helps take the guess work out of it. Plus, the workouts are appropriately challenging without leaving me too sore to move the next day. As a trainer, I know that is a sign of an intelligently sequenced exercise routine. I started using the app when I was 13 weeks along and have done some type of workout pretty much every day since then. It’s helped me to feel less lethargic, kept my blood pressure at a good level, and helped me to slow the weight gain to the recommended weight according to where I am in my pregnancy. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Nancy and team for keeping me moving and feeling good throughout my pregnancy and beyond! In addition to keeping me healthy in the prenatal stage, I feel confident that your program will help my postpartum recovery to be more easeful.

The healthiest, most-appropriate pregnancy and postpartum exercise app

I LOVE the exercises on this app so far. Background: I’m a nurse-midwife with 15+ years of personal experience with yoga and physical training. I’ve almost exclusively done the express classes since I’m on limited activity. But they have barre, cardio, boot camp, treadmill, circuit training, labor training cardio, etc. The absolute best part is the head instructor is a pelvic floor and abdominal strength specialist (or something like that). The intro courses alone are worth the 14 day trial. I coincidentally started the app a couple days before I started seeing physical therapy for pelvic and abdominal strengthening. The intro course explained the proper way to activate the pelvic floor and abdomen in such great detail that it was a mind-blowing moment. When I went to physical therapy, I impressed them because I knew how to do what they were teaching. Throughout all the other exercises, the instructors focus on PROPER muscle activation to protect and support your body. The app is divided into each trimester including a HUGE focus on postpartum recovery (looking forward to that portion especially!). My PT is now recommending it to her clients - and she’s a pelvic floor specialist!

Fantastic & helpful information!

This program is the best I’ve found for anyone that is trying to conceive, pregnant, or postpartum. I found the ab rehab program first before this had came out and it truly helped me after my second baby. Then I heard about move your bump and it’s exactly what I needed. Because of all the information Nancy shares I knew to start asking certain questions about my health and found out I have hypothyroidism and hashimoto disease. I never would have went to the doctor because I thought my symptoms were just normal postpartum. I’m so grateful to have found this program when I did!! We are trying to prepare to try to conceive for a third and I feel like I will need more help now than with the first. This app makes it easy to follow, helpful information that will prepare you for any stage, and yummy nutrition meals too if you’re wanting them! I LOVE everything about it, I promise you won’t regret your purchase. Any question you may have the my will respond which I find extremely helpful too. Try the free trial and you’ll see! Can’t Do Without!

With my first pregnancy I worked out and ate relatively healthy, but that was before I’d discovered Nancy's MYB. With my second I wanted to do better because I’d always heard that being pregnant after your first baby and recovering was so much harder. And wow, what a difference her program made! I was able to keep running, and without knee pain like I experienced in my first pregnancy. I totally contribute that to all of the core and glute exercises in every workout. And i felt great all throughout my pregnancy (bar the typical nausea and tiredness). Even during the rough days I was still able to feel like a rockstar because I could still work out to some degree. Not to mention I had a very small degree of ab separation when I felt ready to get back to working out. The self-assessments were very useful and being a part of an online community was very motivating. Also, the meal plans are fantastic! I kept a ton to use later down the road as well. Plus my husband will eat them which is great when we’re talking about healthy whole foods. I wholeheartedly recommend this program 🤍

Learned so much, and a GREAT challenge!

Before I got pregnant I worked out every day, so when I joined the MYB app I was kind of expecting the workouts to be super easy and basic. BOY WAS I WRONG! These workouts are so great! They are fast paced, knowing people can pause whenever they need. The modifications offered (both up and down) allow for every fitness level to participate. The variety of workouts target anything you might need to focus on (from muscle groups to breathing to posture and more!). I also LEARNED so much with this app. Like I said, I worked out a lot before using it, and had no idea how to properly incorporate core while pregnant. It’s such an essential piece to fitness that I had previously been leaving out. I also learned about activating my pelvic floor, my transverse abdominal muscles...I tried workouts that I never would have bothered to check out otherwise. What a great experience! My only regret is not finding it sooner!

Loved it! Worth it!!

I absolutely LOVED the 14 Day Move Your Bump Challenge and the app in general. I was keeping track of my favorite workouts done in the 14 Day challenge and it’s more than half the workouts I did 😂! The other workouts were really good too. Honestly, I had seen this app and challenge as a Facebook ad and was very skeptical but for the $15 fee to do the challenge with access to the app for 1 month, I thought there wasn’t much to lose— $15 to be exact😂. I was in need of something to get me motivated and hold me accountable while guiding me through safe pregnancy exercises and this app along with the accompanying Facebook group did just that. I LOVED IT and now I’m in a good routine to continue these workout throughout my pregnancy. Just wanted to share my experience for anyone that might see the Move Your Bump app and pass by it or might be looking for good pregnancy workouts but not sure where to go! I believe they also have pre and post pregnancy workouts too AND a full nutrition guide complete with recipes & grocery lists!!

Decent content but feel scammed

I initially purchased the post partum program through her website, which was completely overwhelming to follow on a terrible platform, and I was about to give up. I then realized the same content is on her app, which I didn’t know about. I didn’t ever look at the program I purchased again once downloading the app, which is the exact same content, but they refused to give me a refund. I hated supporting such a crummy business that didn’t appreciate I paid twice for their services, but frankly, as a busy new mom with a toddler, I didn’t have a chance to identify another C-section safe workout plan. If you are going to do this, use the app for 3 months after and ignore the program and materials. Guessing others must have also been disappointed in the supposed “coaching” which was simply access to a Facebook group, as she disabled the ability for people to even post now. I also get spammed with emails constantly with her marketing her brand and find that annoying. On to other workouts now!
