Not as good as it could be

With this last update, they have somehow manage to make this app less intuitive. Now I have random screens popping up throughout the day telling me that I have route updates. Then I have to click through 3-4 screens to get back to the home menu. Just what I need everything I need to status a wo. Spending an extra 20 seconds clicking through more screens every time I open the app. See “dumpster fire” in the dictionary.

Need improvement

Stores can’t verify deliveries completed by drivers with the picture method , the app does not update unless you log out then back in. POD comments don’t always show up to management. Great app if this stuff wouldn’t mess up. Especially the picture and comments those are vital to run smoothly,especially when a neighbor sees you deliver and steal the delivery and you have no record in the app of made delivery .

Needs improvement

It doesn’t update quickly, we have to be logging in and out some times to update and sometimes uninstall and reinstall back again so it can actually works and it drains the battery out real bad!

This is the worst app I’ve ever had to use. Unfortunately I have to use it for work or I would never look at this app again. Every time a change is made in programming it is made worse for the user. For the love of God stop having your three year olds design your apps. Thank you.

Works as it should

With the latest update, everything is running smoothly. Makes life a whole lot easier for the drivers on the road and everyone in the back office. Real time info and communication between the systems is key.

HELP!!!

I believe this app could use a new feature that will allow delivery drivers to view their stops Pinned on the map within the App. Stops could be out of place or not routed in order and theres no way of seen that in the app.

Very very slow.

Hard to update. Crashes and freezes a lot. Some decent features but needs a lot of work.

Driving Blind!

The app is easy to navigate and runs smoothly I am an iPhone user and the only issue I have is I have no way of knowing where my stops are located on the map, I’m relying solely on dispatch to correctly route them.I have no way of seeing my pinned stops on a map so I can decide which way I’m going first I feel like I’m driving blind!! and with all the technology of today I shouldn’t have to look them up on Google myself and order them correctly outside the app.

Video

I am a contractor for Home Depot and I deliver and install appliances in peoples homes the issue is all I can do on the app is take pictures which doesn’t prevent a customer from damaging something when I leave their home.. if I had the option of a 10 sec video it would save me from customer filing claims please consider

Worst app out there

LOL all you can do with this is laugh at it and move on, just like when you consider getting good service at Home Depot, that’s a good laugh for everyone. So expect a laugh but nothing to be done right!🤣🤣

Description

Descartes MobileLink Delivery extends Descartes world-class routing and scheduling systems to the field, guiding your drivers through their day, and completing the final link in the chain of custody through accurate Proof of Delivery. Drivers begin their day by reconciling items prior to departing their depot, making certain they have all they need. Upon arriving at their stops, drivers may scan items on and off their vehicle, ensuring the customer gets everything they were supposed to, and nothing they weren’t.

If an item is damaged or refused, the reason can be recorded and photographs taken. Upon completion of the stop, the customer verifies all the items delivered, and signs off, confirming the driver’s actions. Additionally, MobileLink Delivery may be customized at almost any point within the application to allow the collection of data specific to your organization, such as load quality, surveys, or re-ordering of supplies. And while MobileLink is guiding the driver through their day, it’s also communicating to Descartes servers, providing operational and customer service personnel real-time visibility into the status of the driver and their deliveries.
