Cute ane simple
I love the notebook layout and how you can upload a picture to be the notebook cover. I just found cute stuff on pintrest and used those. I also love the brush pressure option for the ben. You can also of course make custom colors and save them in your options. There is a wide range for the type of paper too. This is more for notes and maybe doodles. There isn’t a shape fixing feature but I dont mind.
Occasionally it stops working or is lagging
Just like the title says, the app would occasionally stop work and lag whenever I’m writing with my pen air when I’m erasing what I wrote, I just bought this iPad which is mini 6 and pen and I’m sure it has nothing to do with it since it was right out of the store but I can always check. Anyways please fix the lagging I just got this app and the permanent membership and have loved it so far, I use this for college classes and as a planner ☹️. Would definitely give it 5 stars if this issue can be resolved soon!

It’s Meh at best.
I have been using this app since I got my IPad and everything was going greatish until the last update. Previously the only issue I had was sometimes my note would get deleted when returning to the Home Screen. Now they seem to have removed the ability to put custom images as the cover. This is such a let down and I hope this is resolved or I will be looking for another note taking app.
Suggestions
I got this for note-taking for college and I love it so much, it’s cheap with no need to buy a subscription to access all benefits. But is it possible to make the undo gesture a lot faster? It’s a lot slower compared to other apps. I also have problems when I move away from the app, it starts drawing with my fingers instead of scrolling
Make this app more accessible please!
I was looking for alternates for Goodnotes 5 because I was NOT about to spend 8 bucks on a writing app. I stumbled upon this app and thought it would work, so I downloaded it. Ironically, as I was closing out of the App Store I saw the little “Apple Pencil” message on one of the screen shots. I assumed, “oh they must allow the Apple Pencil to be used aswell” Because I don’t have an Apple Pencil, they are pretty expensive. I open the app and try to write (with my finger, obviously). It doesn’t work. I try changing the color + size of the brush, nothing. A few days later I borrow my friends Apple Pen and it works just fine. Then I realize that you guys only allow the Apple Pencil to be used! I didn’t even get to explore the features because I can’t even write without a $100 tool! That’s it, just please try to make your app available to use without an Apple Pencil.
This app is good...but it could be better
This app is SOOOO full of bugs, maintenance on this app is so mediocre. I would actually be willing to purchase the subscription because of the many features but the bugs are just too much. Get this app if your on a budget and don't mind a lag when you write with your apple pencil. You can also notice the lag whenever you click literally anything (I'm exaggerating). But all in all it's a good app, it has many cool features for free! could be better tho.
My favorite App!
I got this app sometime ago and i’ve been using it for graduate school. If you are looking for a Goodnotes dupe, this is the app to get! I like this app because some notebook apps you have to pay to get more notebooks while this is unlimited. This has all of the great features like adding in your own images, changes the page look, cover art, lasso tool, etc. its super easy to figure out and easy to change things around to fit your style of writing. You can also pay for additional aesthetics but i don’t. My only tiny, tiny, bone to pick with this app is that i wish it told you how far you’ve zoomed into the page so its easier to get back to. I like my handwriting quite small and sometimes its hard to get back to the size i was writing at whether my handwriting be too big or too small when i come back in. Other than that, this app is a 5 out of 5!!

First of all, I would like to say, I absolutely love this app, but I think that they can be one feature that can of the game of this app. That would be to create a account so every time you login from like a new device all your stuff is connected with that account instead of saving each, and every single one of your notebooks to a file and having them there, I think it would be more useful to create an account. Thank you.
i regret buying this
there are so many issues with this app. I kind of just want to go back to the notes app on my iPhone.I struggle with finding the smallest things like, how do I turn something into a bullet list? It shouldn’t be this hard to find and yet I still can’t find it.Another issue I have is whenever I try to go back and correct a word that was misspelled, the cursor automatically goes back to the end of the note, instead of the word that I need to fix, so I have to click it a minimum of three times in order for the cursor to stay in the spot where I selected it. It is extremely frustrating and I truly wish I never spent money on this app. One more issue I have is the sizing of words on the app. I set the font size to a certain number, but every time I do the size is different than the previous paragraph even though they are the same font.I wish the app automatically added a page when you continue typing instead of letting the words I type get hidden off the page where I am unable to see them. I don’t understand how people can make use out of this app and an easy way because this is one of the most difficult notes apps I’ve used. I think I might switch over to good notes.
