VERY broken when typing, freezes!

So I liked the app at first when I was only doodling, but then I bought the type feature and then after a couple paragraphs all of a sudden the tool bar is in the middle of the screen and every time I pressed enter the page went down and I was just stuck in a black abyss of nothingness and I couldn’t even zoom out back to my page. Deleting this app immediately and getting my money back. For an app with *so many features* you’d think there wouldn’t be any stupid bugs that make everything impossible. I’m on an iPad Pro 2020 by the way so... very new iPad still. I’d give this app a zero if I could.

I LOVE it! 🤩

I have been using QuickNotes X for a long time, and after the last update I have to say that I’m impressed by how good it has become!The new look is really intuitive and easy to use, much more than other apps I have tried. Everything is accessible right away, and the possibility to choose the layout I prefer is something I’ve never seen before but that is a much welcomed bonus for customization.There is a wide range of available tools that cover the needs of both students, like me, and professionals. And the Shape Recognition feature is especially useful if you don’t have an excellent handwriting or if you want to always have perfect geometry.Writing is really smooth, which helps a lot when taking notes during long lectures. Also, having this many covers for notebooks and folders makes really easy to organize my notes and find them whenever I need.Lastly, thanks to its support for iCloud I can finally review my notes on my computer, without going through the hassle of manually exporting everything.Overall, I am really impressed with how the app has evolved, and I can confidently say that QuickNotes X is now my go-to app for taking notes! I really suggest everyone to download it and give it a try!

Needs improvement.

I just downloaded this app, and I found out that it doesn’t even have some features in markup on photos! Like the scissors feature, you draw a circle around your drawing, and you can delete it, move it around, and in notability, you can even change its look!Also, in this app, for almost everything, we have to pay. Suppose you want more than two notebooks, you have to pay. Even if you want to use a text box, you have to pay. Even with the BASIC colors, you have to pay. I like notability better than this.

Just what I needed...

I have using QuickNotes X now for over 3 weeks and could not be happier. The ability to write in my own hand, import a screen shot as a background, or copy/paste right into area I need, is perfect for my needs. And now, thanks to a same day reply from support, I know how to utilize the folder feature.Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to take notes, journal or simply keep a record.

Very User friendly, but lacking in some features

TLDR - Easy to use and very helpful for organization. Missing some features that are not essential for use, but would be a convenient and pleasant addition in the future.The notebook organization system and the ease of changing writing utensil, page format, and incorporating images is noteworthy. It is also very easy to export notebooks in various formats (though the premium expansion is needed for some of the aforementioned features). It also works incredibly with the Apple Pencil.However, there are some relatively common features that are currently missing, and could be helpful if added in the future. -To my knowledge, there is no method to reorder pages, only add and remove.- There is also no ruler tool, which has some niche cases where it would be helpful. While I understand it wouldn’t not be a significant priority for most users, I am surprised that even the paid tools do not compare with the included markup tools on Apple’s iBooks-There is also no ability to copy and paste a portion of a page or a whole page, which can be helpful when weighting lengthy equations or statements-there is no ability to separate or move specific selections of writing around the page, even though text and images can be moved as overlaysOverall, I like the app a lot, and I feel it has a lot of potential. However, there are many features I have seen in competitor’s apps that are missing.

Where are my folders

I recently change my iPad and when I checked my application everything disappeared I bought the premium to have more folders and divide my information and now I can’t find everything I lost everything I need help on how to find everything that I lost I went to Apple they said that I have to communicate with you guys and I will be appreciating that you respond as soon as possible because most of the folders that I have are very important for me thank you

Waste of space, invasion of privacy.

I downloaded app thinking it would be easy and simple to take down important notes, turns out I was wrong. I have a stylus (non Bluetooth) and its so hard to take down notes with it because it’s as though the app only supports the Apple Pencil and other overly expensive Bluetooth stylus’s. For those who don’t mind their notes being messy, this app would be ok for you, but I have a really hard time focusing and I really need my notes and handwriting to look neat. The randomly applies brush strokes and it’s so annoying to have to go back 10 pages just to erase a stroke you didn’t apply yourself.

Most recent update ruined it

I LOVED this app until the most recent update. Every single note I had done horizontal just didn’t update; I’m left with a page with writing all over and no ability to return to the previous and correct format. Be careful if you write anywhere near the edge of the paper…you’ll swipe to a new page and won’t be able to actually write unless you exit it out of that page and go back in. It’s annoying and happens so often that I don’t even bother to use the app anymore. It also suddenly drains my battery. 45 minutes of using it dragged my battery from 58% to 36%. Loss of functionality, draining the battery, complete loss of previous notebooks? No thanks. I really loved this app before, I used it daily. It’s a shame that the new update ruined so much. Hopefully there will be fixes, but I can’t see myself using this app unless there are.

Broken Update

Been using this as my note hub for a year. A new update came out recently that causes the app to crash and glitch constantly. Old notes aren’t compatible with the update, they will crash the app if you attempt to write on them. Page formats were deleted, the new grid format is too large and doesn’t match pre update notes. Double tap setting to flip page keeps turning back on and will glitch the page making your writing invisible until you exit and re-enter the notebook. When the app crashes the last 30 seconds of notes are deleted. Frustrating, I will be switching apps as now my notebooks are unreliable.

Awesome

I love this app I use it for like Test Notes to help me and so far it’s been working great! I recommend this app for students who are writing notes for a test :) / but also it should allows to put text for free because not everyone has good handwriting and might want the text but it cost money I don’t have the text because I think I have good handwriting but no one is perfect so. Yeah this app is good for aethletic stuff or just school however you want it to be
