An Awesom App!

This is one of the best apps on the Apple app store for getting your internet speeds. It's non invasive and gives you incredibly accurate data. I have been impressed with this app for several years now. And it is completely free. You can upgrade to the VIP edition which gives you a lot more features, and it is completely worth it. I strongly suggest you try this app over other ones. I strongly recommend it.

Good, but still missing needed features

This is an app that’s good overall. I cancelled it because it’s missing features I need. If these are implemented, I may be open to paying for a subscription.1. Ability to save images with measurements. I worked around this for now by taking screenshots.2. Ability to group images together into albums, and add a description to each album.3. Ability to export list of measurements (including which album they’re saved in, if they are saved in an album) to CSV or similar format.

Excellent logging features

I downloaded the app to measure WiFi speed and strength. It works. It also keeps a log of each test so I can log exactly how often the network goes out and how much the ISP is screwing me over.I’d like to be able to export the log to pdf in a future version.

Developer needs to learn how to make useful graphs

I’m trying this primarily for the WiFi signal strength feature. While it gives me some numbers, the speedometer-style graph isn’t very good. + It only shows the current signal strength value; It doesn’t show the range of values for a location. + It doesn’t give any indication of whether a reading is poor/adequate/good/great, etc. Is -63db good? I don’t know—I was hoping the app would give some guidance. + The colors in the graph also don’t seem to mean anything. For example, they don’t go from red to green indicating poor to great signal strength. They are just pretty colors, but they could actually be useful in a good graph. I could say more, but I’ll leave it to the developer to go do some reading on how to convey information in graphs.

Misleading charges

I signed up for a lifetime membership, paid up front. Yet the app/company was billing me monthly plus the “one-time” lifetime membership. I had to cancel because there is no way to contact the company/developer to fix this issue. I got Apple support involved and they too could not figure out why I was being charge both a monthly and a one time fee. I will be seeking my money back from PayPal since this company has zero ways to interact with customers except for taking your money without permission. TJ

I WiFi works, if you pay for it

This isn’t really a free app. If you try to use it without buying the VIP version it will only go about 15 seconds before it pushes another pop up ad. They ask if you like or dislike the app. If you select dislike it takes you to another site. The WiFi signal meter itself appears to work fine. There are less annoying apps that work just as well though.

Reliable and easy to use

I've used several different apps similar to this but none are as simple and reliable. The GUI is easy to use and the color scheme as well as ability to save and compare test to test are great. I highly recommend this app and paying for the upgrade to VIP to support the developers.

Home testing WiFi.

Gave this four stars. Trying to check home WiFi before school starts this year. The app works well, but after multiple samples of rooms, it will shut you off for the day, and request you join the deluxe version by paying for the app. Having to spread my house exam over several days. Still four stars.

I like this app.

I’ve been using it for months now to check and track my phone data speeds and wifi speeds, mostly. Nothig complex. This app does everything I want easily and quickly. I find nothing about it to be annoying, obtrusive, or irritating—it’s simple to check my speeds/logs with nothing else distracting me. I went out of my way to write this review because I feel this is uncommon in apps anymore, but iWifi has been a gem for its simplicity and ease of use. Really glad I found it.

Well Design Unique 5 Star App!!

Some times it is hard to put into words how unique a app is! This is one of those cases! I downloaded this app and not only did it give me correct information, or Data but I found I learned a lot from this app. How often does this happen? Not very often that is why for me I feel this is one of those special unique apps! Thank you so much for the Developer who design and put it out here.
