So far so good

I tried a bunch of different extensions for Safari once iOS15 came out, but this one takes the crown so far. It centralizes all those extensions into one, don’t waste your time with other extensions and support the developers.

Great app

Great extension! Better than the rest for sure. Suggestion: could you give us an option to have a true dark mode (fully black background) instead of just a gray background?

Way faster

I love it so far. Been using it for a few days now, and really am happy with it. I’ve tried several before, ultimately just dealing with the ads because the good ones charged, and the free apps didn’t work. This one is easy to use, does what it says, and the controls are straight forward.

Auto click and block element window dismissed

Everything in the app works great as far as I am aware. The only thing is that whenever I am in safari and I click the puzzle icon to view the extensions, then click Hyperweb, and I use the “Autoclick Elements” or “Block Elements” and then click on an element, the window pops up at the bottom and disappears really quickly. I thought that it could’ve been conflicting with other extensions, but I disabled all of them except for Hyperweb and the problem still persists. Can anyone help me?Also, how do you view the suggestions that it shows in the description of this app?

5 Star App, if there was an option/toggle to fix PDF/Invalid URL message.

I loved this app until iOS updated a few times ago. Now when I click on a website that is a direct link to a PDF file, Safari gives me an error message says invalid URL. I know this is not the case, because Toggle off hyperweb extension and Shazam, the site works. I can understand how tough it is for the devs to keep up with or anticipate OS changes that screw up your applications. When I tried to report it on your linked website on the App Store, it circled me right back to the App Store with no link at all to actually contact the HW devs. I know at least as many that have downloaded this app and use it, are all getting these messages. I stumbled upon an answer to the same question in apple community after looking several times within a 2-3 week period, the answer was correct, but not exactly for my problem. When they said to delete any PDF readers we've added. I systematically started switching off extensions and the site worked when I switched OFF hyperweb without even restarting my browser. Can the devs please update your actual contact info, so posting here will not be necessary just to get ahold of someone?? I tried discord but looks like nobody from your company has posted in a while, so I didn't even post. I dislike throwing around shade/negative feedback when I do really 7 Star like your app.

What the heck is this thing doing?

It seems I'm having the opposite experience the app intends. It breaks the Internet on my phone when I use Safari. Sites just break. Lots of sites. They crash. Links don't work. They get stuck in endless loading loops. Pictures won't load. Video won't play. Using Google search on Safari with this app is like using dialup from 1993. I don't know what it's doing for all the five-star reviewers. If I use another browser without Hyperweb, everything works fine. If I use Safari without Hyperweb, everything works fine. The second I start using Hyperweb, Safari is a dumpster fire. Pretty clear correlation there, and I'm not tech-dumb. So what's going on?

Maybe worth 5 stars BUT...

The reason I'm writing this is because there is no contact info or customer support options on the App Store, app's landing page or "guide". I love the potential of this app... assuming all advertised features worked. And i'd happily change my review to 5 stars if the "guide" was remotely like, thorough. People who already understand how to deal with more advanced options, likely wouldn't be looking through the guide. So the fact that the guide is more of an ad and barely elaborates, let alone explains how to properly set up advanced options without the app breaking safari... is annoying. Most ppl know WHAT cookies and content blockers are if they're downloading something like this. But sometimes there are contextual differences in taking advantage of those settings in individual apps/extensions.Like, "easy list format" means what exactly? Because considering how absurdly long filter lists are, I cannot imagine we are expected to add each item individually. So like, explain. Or just add a toggle for all. Googling "easy list format" brings up entire filter lists like adguard/fan boy etc. And if the whole list is what we input -- versus individual filters on individual lists -- is what you mean by format, explain that. Come on...this could be life changing.

Have used this for awhile and doesn’t seem to make basic improvements

Recently — despite my settings being very basic — Hyperweb has continued to break safari/Google searches. Results page will frequently not fully load and repeatedly give me the same error. This occurs if I navigate quickly or try to refresh which is counterintuitive considering the app slows browsing down, not speeds it up.When this first came out, it felt acceptable to have a guide which, in some ways was catered to advanced users who already understood the lingo and in other ways WAY too basic, limited and lacked full explanations. Now, you guys have had enough time to spend a few days writing basic paragraphs to flesh it out rather than requiring users to separately look up terms or scroll other websites for explanations or not provide options in-app for common css/js script enhancements. Customer support is essentially non-existent and I see no real improvements or interest in UI/UX.So all in all, this COULD be great and had so much potential but is depreciating.

MacOS Safari Version When?

I love this extension. It does everything I want it to and it does it fast. The only complaint I have is that there’s somehow no MacOS Safari version?!? That’s the only thing that’s preventing it from being 5/5 stars. Devs could we get some kind of timeline or reason it isn’t already there? No hate, just want to use this extension on all of my devices.

It works!

The main feature I use is the automatic dark mode. While there is some occasional "flashing" the dark mode implementation is well done. I tried Noir for a bit and it just doesn't measure up. I also like the sheer amount of features put into this extension. You can definitely tell this was crafted with care. I will say one thing I would like to see is for the suggestions button to only stay on the page for a short period of time so as to not block the screen.
