Is it doing anything at all?

The answer is unequivocally yes, but you'd never know it until you use a computer that doesn't have it installed.Once you install it, you'll be immediately pleased... and then you'll forget it's there — it works perfectly and doesn't interfere with the normal operation of your machine.When you use a machine on which it is not installed, you'll fall in love with Hush all over again. It seems like such a small thing, but the quality of life improvement is huge.

Does its job silently and well!

I was doing some manual updates in the store today, saw this app, couldn’t remember its purpose, and so read the description. I was flabbergasted when I realized that I couldn’t remember the last time I’d been asked whether I agree to platesful of cookies being loaded onto my devices!I’d completely forgotten how those things usta drive me out of my mind! Thanks to Hush, I’ve not been bothered by those things since downloading it. It obviously does its job silently and well. Aside from apps that do their jobs in delightful ways that make life easier, the next best kind are those apps that do their jobs behind the scenes and and do them so perfectly that we forget they’re there, and Hush falls into the latter category. This makes it a little difficult for us to appreciate them (especially for those of us with memory problems), but that’s hardly a complaint!If you’re also tired of being asked about cookies every time you open a new site, you’re gonna love Hush: you download it, load it once, and then *literally* forget about it! Your life is improved, and it cost you nothing, neither in one or brain cells. Excellent job, developers! 👏🏻 Way to go!

Make Catalina min vers?

I read on github that Hush uses APIs that are only in Catalina and Big Sur (I had initially suspected that the limitation was really Safari version, not OS version).I'm guessing that the further back you go in OS versions, the harder it is to make this work, but if it could be moved down to Catalina, that sounds like it's better within reach, and would be a big boon to those of us who can't yet move to Big Sur (in my case, becasue tools I use for work aren't ready for Big Sur yet).

Thank you, truly a lifesaver

I had to thank you for this app, it’s great work. Ad blocker wasn’t handling cookie prompts any longer and they are a frustrating mess that ruins the internet and makes for a horrible browsing environment. Just short of blocking all cookies in Safari or some other drastic measure, I took a quick look and this app came highly recommended. In a few days of use on the phone and the iPad it’s a huge relief for them to just be gone. Completely gone. So Hush, a good ad blocker and private browsing is a beautiful thing. I am completely sick and tired of endless cookie prompts, settings, and constant deleting. I’m still about to flip the switch and block them all and just let sites break, as cookies truly do need to die. Thank you again, much appreciated, and keep it up!

Tired Of Interruptions

I appreciare finding and installing "Hush" in the APP Store.Advertising has taken over everything! Having any peace in typing and reading ones email is imposible. Looking for any information on the internet has become extreamly difficult without being interrupted making one lose their train of thought.It's impossible to work on a computer without being constantly interupted with advertising!Personally, I lose my train of thought trying to type, and/or search for information on the internet. Especially when the ads fill up the whole page.There have been times that an ad appears so quickly that I actually think, at first, it is part of the articale I'm reading. I have seen advertisements make themselves look like Editorializations. (They call themselves a name that is made up of Advertisement and Editoriailze in extremely small type. I did not find that until I got my magnifier out.)

Very Simple and Useful Lightweight App

This app is very simple to set up and there are no extra steps you have to take in order for the extension to work. This app has default settings that allow it to start working as soon as it is enabled in settings. I have not noticed any lag since downloading it, and it works well along with other content blocker extensions.

Not working well!

Update: Used to be able to report a website that was showing cookies notices but now the app takes me to a Google docs page and I have to sign in to it with a gmail account! I don’t want to mess with that. Clearly the app makers don’t care as they never reply on reviews or make any changes. There’s gotta be better apps than this! Not sure what’s going on but this app hasn’t been working well for awhile now. When I first installed it a year or so ago it seemed to do pretty well but lately I constantly get cookie request pop ups on almost every site I visit. I have double checked multiple times and it’s definitely enabled on my phone. Big bummer!

At last, the cure to invasive Internet legislation!

If you’re an adult who understands the risks of using a computer and have grown tired of these onerous prompts you casually dismiss every time, this plugin is for you! It’s simple, safe, and effective. Take a nice deep breath and enjoy browsing the way it was, before a handful of sanctimonious politicians decided to protect you from yourself with laws and regulations that’ve done nothing except generate noise and foster a cottage industry of popup blockers.

It might help a little

Annoying cookie requests aren't popping up nearly as frequently, however, what I found had me scratching my head. Truth is, there are in fact less cookie pop ups while browsing the internet, but according to my SETTINGS>Safari>>Advanced Setting> Cookie& stored data> I doubt there is significantly less than without the install. It's ok. Skeptical it's doing much but it is tracking and gaining access to every site I visit. I'll probably delete it

Simple. Wish I could report outliers more easily.

Once can report outliers not caught by HUSH if they open the standalone app and click a link. It would be nice if there were a Safari Button or menu option from HUSH that would do just that (and it would include the active URL)
