Amazing Game But Hate One Flaw

This game is amazing imo. I’ve never been much into space games but from day one I haven’t stopped playing. First mmo where I feel the community is actually non-toxic and helpful and that everyone has the same chances of becoming the best player I they put the time and effort it. You can spend money but honestly this is the first mobile game I have played where the pay-to-win players are a non-issue.The only thing that keeps me from rating this game a perfect 5 is the fact that I’m in a Corp with a First Officer who’s been inactive for over 170 days. The devs don’t care that this holds some of us back and if we could find a way around this issue the game would be perfect imo. I know this issue isn’t a big one for most but the best part of this game is the community and Corp relations that are built over time. Not having a active FO does hold us back in some regards even though we do our best to work around it.Please do something about inactive FO’s. I can’t see why officers can’t majority vote to remove a FO or have the devs do something about it.

Cool but

Ok something big. Please developers sell $3.99 ish space station that you put near your star and it draws hydro out every hour. Like maybe 10 hydro times your level or even 5. I really can’t play the game much. My sectors have no hydro and then when they do I mine and I can run like 2 missions. Then wait like a full 24 hours to mine again. I kinda wish that there were more ship choices. First split up slots into ship and battleship slots. A large battleship takes up two battleship slots but you can bring smaller ships that only take up one. Ship slots will be for cargo and mining ships. Add smaller ships that are faster but weaker. Also add a carrier that launchers fighters and bombers maybe. I kinda wish that you had to setup home defense and you can get invaded by ai. Not other players but every once and a while enemies would try to take back planets next to unknown zones. Add planetary defense structures to keep the outer areas safe.

Excellent Game

This game is a very fun take on a strategy game. The developers did an incredible job of creating a game that does not pressure you to constantly be playing (great when you have a job, kids, etc) but also continues to slowly build over time in depth. Most mobile games that I’ve played start off exciting with all sorts of new content happening all over and then Peter off into a complete grind or repetitive pay-to-progress situation. Hades’ Star is different in that it starts off interesting- the first few milestones are a satisfying progression- but where the game truly shines is as you progress further and unlock the different red, white and blue star missions. Each of them is a distinctly different experience and all of the different modules present totally different but equally viable strategies for tackling each situation. The depth of the game is impressive, and it is exponentially more fun to experience as a group in a corporation. I am excited to see the game continue to be developed and expanded upon- it is a winning formula and I am completely hooked. Strategic thinking and patient, incremental upgrading is highly rewarded. May you create tremendous value for your interstellar corporation’s shareholders, travelers :)

Simple but fun

I love the simplicity of this game. The galaxy is very detailed, while the ships look very simple. My biggest complaint is the rapidly increasing costs of upgrades. It takes quite a while to work up the tens of thousands of credits needed to start making serious progress, then as soon as you upgrade, the amount credits needed for the next level is staggering. The upgrade costs of basic, starting ships go from 10,000 to 60 or even 80,000 credits. If you have nothing else to do for hours upon hours of your life, this will fill in this gap. I can’t do this, a feature that allows you to earn credits offline is necessary. You can’t move the short range scanner to another sector, or break it down to get credits or materials back. It becomes useless after you’ve scanned everything around you. The next scanner is very pricey and comes with much more expensive scans, most of my time is spent transporting goods from planet to planet, just to work up enough credits to upgrade one item or build something new. If there was more variety, or the game had balanced progression to make it more interesting before spiking the prices, I’d probably keep it. As is, I may give it a few more days, if I’m unable to build something that drastically changes my experience, it’ll be off my phone.

Just amazing

I absolutely LOVE this game and can’t get over the fact how well designed it was made. It’s obvious that the developers actually spent a lot of time perfecting this game. This game is capital B beautiful with amazing designs and I have gotten into what they call a “mentoring corporation” where they teach lower level players what to do and what not to do so they don’t go through the same pain as they did. There are a lot of things that the game doesn’t tell you though and yes you will make mistakes along the way but I always know that one day, I will make it through and I will take the place of my former mentors. Also if any of you have first officers or leaders that are inactive then join the Darkest Hour. We have multiple officers that are online constantly and currently are in a White Star (I’m not included because I don’t have the WS scanner and I am too low of a level). We teach, we serve, and we win. Commander Azalar, signing out

Love this game

Fun space empire building game. Starts kinda slow but gets huge, deep. Challenges your mind. Colonize planets discovered in your star system. Build mining, transport, and battleships. There’s tons of tech to be discovered. Everything can be upgraded. Go on 3 types of missions. Red Stars are pve, single or multiplayer coop missions for artifacts which you need to unlock and upgrade tech. Blue Stars are short, pvp “last man standing” missions rewarding valuable resources. White Stars are epic 5v5 up to 20v20 5day slow paced events where 2 corporations duke it out for resources in one big star system. These missions are all about strategy, no PTW, which is important to me. I can’t stand the new ptw, in game purchase model that plagues games these days. You can get really creative using all the different tech you discover. Running shipments while trying to use the least amount of fuel is a fun challenge. The modules you can deck your ships out with offer plenty of strategy to figure out and employ. Your home is always safe, this game is not about attacking and taking others resources. It’s about slowly growing huge, efficient, smart, and powerful, in a great supportive gaming galaxy, especially enjoyed if you join a corporation. Word.

Give the game a chance and you won’t be disappointed

This has to be my favorite mobile game of all time. At the beginning of the game the slow speed of the ships might be a bit unbearable but once you get more ships you can see why it is that way. Every new red star(PvE) feels different and requires a different approach despite seeming similar at first. White stars are the PvP if the game and they are amazing! They require lots of strategy and unlike many mobile games they require actual coordination with Corp members. Although the game may seem simple at first different combinations of mods do allow for different play styles. Honestly I could go on for hours about why I love this game.Anyway, I think everyone should give this game a try because it becomes really addictive once you play for a while. Don’t be one of those people who quit right after the tutorial either.

Great Game

I didn’t want to write a review until I’d invested enough time into it, and I’m now level 42, so I figured that’s probably enough. The game is insanely fun when you first pick it up, but starts to get boring around level 20-30. Don’t let that ruin it for you though, if you push through, once you get to around 35-40, the content picks back up again and from what my corporation has said, it doesn’t slow down again from there. The game is extremely rewarding, but don’t expect to get your reward right off the bat. You can’t play for more than 20 minutes at any given time unless you’re running Red star missions, which admittedly you can just continue doing and they’re very fun. So it’s less of an active game, but it’s also not passive because when it comes to gameplay, when it rains, it pours. It’s fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something to put some time into while also not expecting to just pour hours in at the beginning.

Great game but it could be better

I’m a level 39 so I think that I am far enough to leave a good review. To summarize, I love this game and it is my favorite to play. Here are some ideas for features that could greatly improve this already great game. 1. Colonizing multiple stars. I know it seems over the top but it could be great. You could have a second ship yard for this star and a second for everything that you could only have one of. You could have ships of multiple levels like a level 1 and a level 5 at the same time.2. Fleets. A great idea could be fleets. A fleet could consist of 3 ships and a flag ship. All the ships would behave as they normally do but the flag ship could send fighters, bombers, etc. It could have more slots for all but shields and would be the main part of the fleet. If the flag ship dies, the fighters would all die as well.(fighters also have very low health)3. A shared corporation star. The entire Corp shares everything in one massive star that they spend credits on together to colonize, explore, and research special modules with unique abilities. There would obviously be Cerberus in the star as well.Thank you for creating this awesome game that I’ve put so many hours into and I hope you read this review. This game deserves the 5 star rating that I left. Thank you again, and keep working on this masterpiece of a game.

Fantastic, relaxing and addictive space chess

Hades star is an amazing game that has enough depth to keep you playing for months, and different game modes that appeal to different types of players. You can choose to relax and do a little each day by tending to your star system and researching, fight alone, in a group or in your corporation against the computer. There is also a challenging player v player mode where up to 15 players a side can battle it out. And it’s not always those with the biggest guns who win. An assortment of modules turn each game into a challenge. You don’t need to spend a cent to enjoy the game and be competitive, in fact ‘pay to win’ is exceedingly difficult in this game - the real way to master it is patience and a good group of teammates. Great balance, a rewarding sense of progress and a relaxing way to meet others online and team up to advance further.
