I’m a long time guns up fan. I always thought it would be a great mobile game. Glad you guys didn’t disappoint. Years later lol. I’m glad it’s here. It is different in many ways than the console version. I am deeply saddened that the whole card system is gone, always enjoyed having massive amounts of cards I can fuse or save for a high stakes match. I’m just starting off but I do have high hopes for the future of this game. In console I remember once you got to a certain tier, all you would see is sniper builds that would dominate on defense. It was nice getting obliterated by a bomber build occasionally. Though snipers are dominant here too, a smoke screen or two can offset that. So far pretty good game, nostalgia included. I always liked guns up for the competitive risk factor. One thing missing since the card system is out for mows is a wild card that offset a losing battle. Also I enjoyed being able to really think about the future match, and choosing cards to best help. Such as looking at the units they will use. Mobs? Okay I’ll use the flu card. Barricaded in, I’ll need more rockets. I don’t feel that with this version. Mostly it’s smoke screen, rocket, focus fire. Let’s go. Anyway sorry for the ramble. Hope this gets read, thank you for putting this game out, I’m really enjoying it.

Its a better than the console one with how interesting the mobile game is

With how you can upgrade your units and have buildings that produce resources for you while your offline makes the game a bit easier but also a bit harder as its easier but not that much harder than the console variant of Guns up since guns up on console uses ammunition for everything and can easily run out of resources but on guns up mobile you dont have to worry about that only that PVP can drains you of resources as you can get attacked by other players with stronger units and you with how you use gold for buildings and defenses is a lot easier to improve base and outpost and Ammunition is used to upgrade all the units the commander abilities and buildings alike and you use energy to summon troops to the battlefield which makes pvp easier than console i enjoy this game a ton and will be a player for as long as this game runs and with some new units and vehicles it adds to the strategy you can try for both offense and defense against new units and vehicles

THIS GAME BUSSIN

To put it simply GET THIS GAME!! This is the best mobile games I have ever played BY FAR! First of all you don’t need to buy any micro transactions. Now sure it is tedious to level up without but, name a single mobile game that isn’t tedious if you don’t put some cash in. On top of that this game looks amazing, plays amazingly, and is completely fair. Most other base builder games take forever to get the resources to upgrade buildings but this one is by far the most generous in terms of rewards. There has never been a point where I think there’s no point in raiding someone, just because of the fact that after you commence one raid you can practically upgrade two buildings just like that! The way raiding works is terrific since you feel in charge and every troop you put on the field has a noticeable affect on the raid. Did I forget to mention the SICK side missions? We’ll to put it bluntly zombie mode is stress inducing and challenging, defend mode feels personal and allows you to see error in you defense design and improve upon it, then finally prison break is a different experience from the Standard game. So with all this said STOP READING AND GO PLAY THE BEST MOBILE GAME!!!

Good but…

Ok I really liked it on the PC and console versions and I like it even more on moblie, but I have some complaints. I remember watching baronvongames/tactics and I thought when I saw the mercenary That “wow that hat looks cool” but when I got in game you could not change the hat! So I think next major update should get more customization to the units, because though the color of there uniforms are cool, it does not give the creative ability to change the units look that i see. One more thing (well two actually) it feels very pay to win in one sence. It took me from start of the game to just last week to get the RANGER. I have to get really lucky to get gold units and I only have one in my entire time playing. I think it needs to be a increase of the chance of getting units from crates and just over all make it not pay to win, because I find these people who spend money on the game (I don’t) and they got riot, mini gun guy and mercenary, and I can’t beat them. Last thing, oh boy the upgrading is not very good. It might not be expensive, but it takes a day or more to let it finish. So in my opinion, you should lower the upgrade time some how. It just gives me the crappy moblie game vibe when upgrading. But other then that I think the game is great so keep on doing the good work

Recnets update review

I really enjoy this game for a long time. It is one of my favorite game. Mostly I didn't review and post about the game, but I want to mention about recnet updated. the one reason why I liked it It has some balance at some points If ppl don't use much money, can enjoy without paying money. (Reaching at some points It is a bit hard to beat who paid a lot) also I paid some amount for fun. But I don't understand recent update's direction. I watched the new there are new character comming on march, nerd scientist released wasn't that long but why making a new character?! Also rare item's showing up rate is super low. I know game company have to make money. I did another but similar concept game for a long time. The game also have some same issues I enjoyed it for a long time they keep released new characters at short period and then I deleted it the game because when the game making new character rather than making other contents that means there are nothing to enjoy and It feel likes a deadend. I enjoyed the game for a long time still having fun with the game. As a one of the fan of the game, please consider the feedback.

Hear me out, devs and readers.

Hi, okay, to start, I’ve read many reviews. Some about it being “p2w” and even the devs acknowledge that some aspects do have you pay. However, it is fair for 3 reasons. One, pay or not, it’s fun. 1, I’m a level 30 player, been playing for a month or two. I do face players with commanders or commando’s. But in this game, it’s balanced like clash of clans, where if they pay to get units, it will equal out within a week or two, your then up against new opponents. 2, you can also buy crates you know. First, heroic crates can be purchased and unlocked with gems, and you can do your calendar events for free loot. It’s completely fair in the balance system. 3, most if not all items, cars, and units are obtained via player level, not credit card. The only 2 things I wish, is one, if you got/bought a heroic crate, there would be a low, but percentile chance, that you get a complete unit. And 2, that instead of your fort level deciding your building amount, you can buy more building slots via gold, because I often have excess gold, but nothing to upgrade. Either way thanks for watching my Ted talk, and I hope the devs read and acknowledge this. It’s not necessary for the to change, I just wish they read this and just think about this.

Fun game but the matchmaking is a little off

I have played this game for a little while and it is very fun and energetic game with fighting bases defending and much more. But the only thing that I personally have problem with is the matchmaking. I will hit the raid button and find these bases with like 57-63 defense rating when mine is like 32. It’s also not just a few almost all of them are like that and it’s ever since I upgraded my command center. Now yes defense rating is strictly for defense but these bases are sometimes impossible for me currently my raid load out is assault, grunts, bounty hunter, and grenade launcher and I will find base with a commando or a rocketeer both of which i do not have. Because i don’t spent enormous amount of money on the game i do not have access to any legendary units. So to conclude this review i would like to say that it is still a fun game but the matchmaking I think it is based on command center level and not defense rating, units, and levels of units although I am not sure of this. I do get it is hard to put that in to a game so I don’t ever expect them to completely change it but i would like the developers to make matching making a little better. This is an add on to the original review I have noticed it had gotten better I am able to fine good bases to fight and I have gotten a legendary the colonel.

Just Please Give Me the Old Game

Ok, to put this simply, I didn’t enjoy the game much at all. It just seems to be a lesser version of the old game. It contains tons of annoying differences from the original game. I have many problems I think you should address. 1: For one, it is way to fast pase for my liking. It is hard to keep track of your troops when the are moving at 300 Billion miles per hour! The troops move way to fast, the truck moves to fast, and the animations are to fast. 2: For being such a fast game I am surprised that upgrades take so much time! That is a very frustrating thing to wait for. In the old game, you wouldn’t have to wait for upgrades to finish. If you had enough resources you could build right then and there. 3: My third problem is that you have to use battle tokens to play the extra game modes! Why, just why did you have to change the game so much!?! 4: Horde battles aren’t infinite? Why not? It would make them way more fun! I know you guys probably put a lot of work into this game, but is it to much to ask for you just to make this game exactly like the old one? I love the old game! It was perfection! Thanks for reading! One last thing. There seems to be no option to turn off the gore. This could be a little unsettling for some and would be nice if there was an option to disable it.

Disappointing purchase

I spent $8 on the premium pass during an event for a special unit called the Chemist. It was only after I purchased premium and completed every single event achievement that I realized there wasn’t enough chemist medal rewards to even unlock the character. I had even unlocked dozens of chemist chests I bought in the store and I still only had 21/25 medals which wasn’t enough to unlock the chemist character. At that same time I was switching Alliances and I had multiple people in both of my alliances who were confused and disappointed that they didn’t unlock the chemist either even after purchasing the premium pass for $8 and completing everything. I just think it’s ridiculous that they’re advertising a character for an event that even the people who purchase premium aren’t able to unlock! It’s false advertising! If you do download this game, be very cautious spending any money during events. I don’t even understand the business tactic behind this because you rarely ever get chemist medals from the crates themselves so there was literally nothing else you could even buy to unlock the character. They just chose not to give it to anyone. I think the company should automatically unlock the character for everyone who purchased premium. I’m very upset over the false advertising.

Really fun in the beginning, now it’s alright

Despite the title I actually really enjoy this game to a certain extent as I often find myself logging in daily. The biggest problem to me is matchmaking and overall base designing. Firstly, when it comes to matchmaking as mentioned in previous reviews it’s outright unfair as I fight and defend against people who are 10+ levels higher than me with units I that are leagues ahead of my defenses and defending units. Attacking these players can sometimes be fun and is certainly possible (if you get good rng from commander abilities) but the same cannot he said for defending. This leads to my second problem of base defense structuring; let me ask you this how is it even possible for me to defend against a player 10+ levels ahead of me with overall superior units when I only have a literal handful of defenses, the fact that I’m limited to a certain number of defenses is pretty dumb in my opinion, if I am given the ability to buy said defenses I should be available to place and utilize said defenses, I know the map is limited but this is demoralizing at best as I literally can’t fight back in the same capabilities as my opponents, if anything increases the defenses limit or fix the matchmaking pool, tldr fix/tweak base designing and/or fix matchmaking, still fun game and will continue to play 👍
