Why this FOX app not like it used to be?
I’ve used this app for many years but in the last 3-6 months is not as reliable. I recently deleted it and reloaded; still not functioning well. The radar isn’t up to date compared to ABC channel 13 radar or National Weather Radar. It also flashes and will not show all the thunderstorm cells/rain, but there will be storm tracks and lightning symbols all over. It’s just not reliable anymore.
Great When connects
I have had this weather ap and love it! However this past week and now today it is frozen and I cannot get it to open. It appears others are having the same issue.
Videos not updating
I like Fox 26 for weather and their TV staff does a great job. For some reason though the app is not updating with the latest video clips, which is why I downloaded it in the first place. For example, this morning I wanted to watch a video forecast for how Tropical Storm Nicolas will affect my area, but the video on there is from 11 days ago where they’re talking about Hurricane Ida. The app is otherwise fine, but again there are a plethora of weather apps out there, some better, where I can read the forecast, so the value for me was to be able to come here and see a quick weather clip that summarizes what’s going on (ie such as when you’re watching the news and the weather comes on. If they could do one of these 2-4 times per day and then upload to the app I’d use it more.
Terrible
Not sure why the app has to reload every time you open in. Could be a second or a month. It takes forever to open. Then while you’re there, it gives the most inaccurate “forecast” if you’d call it that. Half the time it doesn’t even work. Used to think the Apple weather app was terrible. Nope this is lightyears behind
A must for the outdoors but it’s slow
I’ve used this app everyday for over 2 years but the radar is a bit slow (about 8 min behind actual weather) and over the past week (New Year’s week 2020) the app has simply locked up. I have deleted and reinstalled to see if a recent update is the cause.
Fix the white on white font
Hard to read when u have white font on top of white clouds. Change background or let me control contrast.
Worked really good until I upgraded to iOS 15.3.
Fox 26 app is a really good app until I upgraded to IOS 15.3. I have checked my settings and rebooted, but unless I am on the internet I can’t get the app to work.

Been hearing Dr Jim saying to download. It is much better than the other TV weather apps for Houston
Nice option to TWC, but...
Occasionally has odd errors and crashes but it’s a very good option the horrible resource hog that is The Weather Channel. I use it about 75% of the time now. Will eventually see it as a replacement to TWC fully. When I can give it 4 stars it will win.

Love the options on the radar map and being able to set different cities so I can check on family’s weather. Scrolling is nice
