Doesn’t work that well

I like the app idea, but if you have an iPhone, you can always switch between the keyboards by pressing the globe button. I have a Romanian and English keyboard. If I turn on the app, it will block the app keyboard, but I can still switch back to my old keyboards with just one touch, so it doesn’t work. I can still text even if the app is running . Plus I paid 1.99$ for nothing, totally waste of money

The app works the way it is suppose to, but I had to read other reviews and go online to figure out how it works. The developer needs to give more concise directions on how it works. Otherwise it may seem like a scam.

Waste

Easy way to just switch it off and even then I had to click into it just for it to show up each time. Should just make the whole app 2 dollars instead of putting the main feature behind a pay wall. Don’t waste your money.

Just make the app $1.99

Why make the keyboard free then have it be $1.99 to actually use drunk mode. Just make the app $1.99. So sick of these “free” apps that then have you buy everything. Customers appreciate honesty and transparency. Just saying

Works okay

I honestly wish this app worked better than it did. Despite claiming to block the keyboard, there’s a number of easy ways to send text messages while in “drunk mode”, including using the app’s own “send my location” feature. Future updates need to work towards a functional app, not more bells and whistles for the keyboard.

Doesn’t Work as intended - not free

The app is called Drunk Mode so users should be able to expect that this feature is included in the free “cost” however it is not. You have to pay $1.99 for the feature of the apps name sake. That would be fine but don’t advertise as free. I should say that would be fine IF the app actually worked. Once you pay for Drunk Mode and install the keyboard you can still send voice text. There’s a little lock over the screen but even though you select a time frame it still allows you to toggle right back the main keyboard or emoji keyboard or any other keyboard you have installed and get right out. No warning. No “are you sure message” nothing. And it doesn’t even allow you to select specific numbers that you don’t want to text while drunk…. It applies to all numbers if you have the will power to not toggle back out. And I’m guessing if you had that will power you wouldn’t need this app to begin with. Probably one of the worst apps I’ve seen as far as functionality and purpose. Too bad I can’t get a refund. Do not waste your time or money. Useless.

What a piece of sh**

I’m giving 1 star because I have to, but you should get -5 stars. Enjoy my $2 you f**ing aholes. Your app doesn’t even finhhow to explain to enable drunk mode so I stop texting my ex when I’m drunk. I hope all of you believed that you would make millions out of this app and you didn’t so now you’re floundering about in debt!!!

It took a sec, but I like it

Yeah, I was confused when I first downloaded the app. But I honestly like it now that I figured it out. I can only block certain people, like I really wanted, and I can turn it off if I need to. If you’re having trouble, read through some angry comments. They’ll give you pointers.

Best thing I’ve done for my anxiety

I have a bad habit of getting drunk and commenting on people’s posts or messaging people things I wouldn’t normally say. I will wake up the next day and immediately think “oh no, what did I say?” Well, last night I used the app for the first time and OMG it was so nice to wake up without beating myself up or trying to figure out what comments need deleted before someone sees them. The best thing I’ve done for my anxiety.

Don’t do it

The app is labeled as free but you have to pay once you download it. It also tries to trick you to pay for the keyboard multiple times. It doesn’t even work. You can easily just switch back to your normal keyboard with one click which makes this app completely useless. Don’t waste your money.
