Really good game

This is a very simple, easy, and fun game. You don’t need to play consistently, I got it 2 years ago and play it on and off. Lots of updates and holiday events which make the game constantly enjoyable and always give new challenges to face. My only criticism is that it takes a long time to grind farming levels which are extremely important, if not necessary. It took about two weeks to level up from 75 woodcutting to 80. The issue was almost fixed with the inclusion of the farming rune but it takes so long to get to the level necessary to craft it it is almost obsolete at that point. I also wish the in game currency was easier to obtain, but I understand that it is one of the only ways for the game to make profit without ads (which is one of my favorite parts) if there was a way to transfer a high amount of gold for a low amount of shards, but not the other way around, it would still be a challenge but easier to get them (e.g. 100 million gold can be traded for five shards, but five shards are not traded in for 100 million gold, preventing people from buying a few shards but making a lot of gold, so people who don’t want to pay can still get shards without it ruining the economy)

Best mmo rpg

I like this genera of games a lot and I’ve tried a lot of them on my phone and each of them have there own little unique things and their fun but in the end I get bored of playing them within a month but curse of Aros is a lot different I’ve been playing this for a little while now and I’m level 72 and I have yet to get bored of this game the fact that you don’t have to farm on one mob to level up is really amazing quest have you fighting multiple types of enemies so you never get bored of one mob on top of that you learn the map relatively quickly because the task it gives you makes you wander around learning the nooks and crannies of the map I’m super excited to see this game grow and the map getting bigger with new skills and things to come I hope this game grows to be the most popular one day because it genuinely and truly deserves that tittle great game

Unjust Ban Account

I’m playing COA for over a year, I got banned for false accused bot. I’m here because I was banned in the game without any justice to my hard work. I don’t have enough money to buy in-game currency. So I start working hard making money by cutting pine trees. Since I’m almost becoming rich, the people think sees me using a bot and want me to remove in the market competition. I don’t want to give names does who want to remove me to the market competition. What they do they just make multiple account and report you multiple times and “poof” all of your hard work, items, gold are gone. In their terms and condition to number 2.“**2) No Cheating** Use of third-party software to simulate or bypass human inputs. Recording and replaying actions, computer automated clicking, mechanical interaction. All Inputs into the game must be controlled by a human user.”COA is RPG Game so most of the time your grinding levels, items and gold. Basically when grinding your move is the same as before. Then player will see you as botting. This mean that all COA players are possible to get ban because of the grinding. If your playing this game, my advice as an old player be careful of your action or your hard work will end up in dust. Already brought up this concern to moderator/admin but it was a failure.

Good foundation, needs tweaking

It’s a decent mmorpg style game with old school graphics. It’s easy to figure out how crafting and other functions work even though there’s no tutorial of any kind. This game does need some balance tweaking however. So far accuracy seems to be the most useful stat because my character is apparently blind as a bat. Smithing is incredibly slow to level even at low levels. Mining goes up very fast but the rocks run out of ore very quickly due to the amount of players. Haven’t touched fishing or woodcutting yet but I would imagine the wood crafting skill is the same as smithing. Stackable drops should really be a thing especially with a small inventory and how much crap drops from mobs and each smithing bar being a single space. Either make it stack or make it worth more and drop less. Stacks for craft materials would just be a good QoL idea. Lastly, this game really needs some kind of a map. I can tell there are at least four area not including dungeons but finding them is unnecessarily difficult. Trees, rocks and random brush make the paths difficult to see let alone get through. There doesn’t seem to be any real rhyme or reason to it. Some of the transitions like to the left of the starting area where you use the rock to change to the other side of the fence are not intuitive at all. Make them more distinct somehow. I really enjoy this game but it has some glaring flaws. Good start, but keep tweaking please.

Great potential and lots of room for improvements

At first I was just placed in the game with no instructions or guide, which left me brianless for a while or so, and then i see my tasks. The movement at the moment is a bit clunky and I dont like how the character gets blocked when the visual appears otherwise. Players would be very appreciative if there was a map added to show where everything was or a teleport system because it is not easy to figure out where i was going. And a faster way of transportation/movement would be more convenient ,also the amount of misses in combat is a bit too excessive for me, It is very frustrating to keep on missing the hits over and over again. Another suggestion is a way to combine the small healing potions into the larger ones because as game progresses the small amount of healing is useless and I have to keep spaming them. This is a great game and I hope it can do even better!

I enjoy it

I played for a while then dropped it. I’m just getting back into it. The controls are simple and easy, and it feels pretty rewarding to level up. You can even distribute stats how you want, best part is, it only costs some gold to reset them; rather than bought currency. Which I thought was nice, since a lot of games similar to this require real life money to reset stats (as in buying the special currency, EX: Gems, jewels, or in this game, shards.). the only difficulty I had was with navigating through the map, it took a while to know where to go. I got lost a few times lol. I’m only level 35, so there’s probably more to the game, so I most likely excluding a lot of info. But when I got back on I got a message asking for a review, since a lotta negative reviews are from people who were unhappy with the game. but they are also from people who want to see the game grow. Just because others aren’t complaining about that specific problem doesn’t mean it isn’t a problem they are facing. Some players who are giving an honest negative review, could just want to see this game evolve, since they enjoy it so much. But it could also be from trolls lol. Great game so far, I really enjoy it. Good job.

Community kills it

This is a good game kind of reminds me of runescape but simpler. Grindy game, if you ever stop setting goals you’ll likely get bored. Not much info so you’ll have to look at the wiki. The only thing that kills this game is its toxic community, not that all the people are bad or that I’d expect everyone to be nice, there are some scammers and lurers, and some people that are just rude of course, but one thing that is upsetting to me is the circumstance with bosses, mainly the golem. there are a lot of people that camp the golem boss, so if you’re not already past lv 85-90 with the armor already and buffs it’s gonna be almost impossible to get the armor by getting drops. especially since it’s mainly seasoned players who already have the armor that camp the boss, and will call in the help of friends to help them get the drops and make sure the world is locked down for them or their alternative accounts. This is even apparent at rock demon. I know it’s a free for all and is technically fair but It’s just upsetting to me to see the community that populated the game and helped bring it up over the past two years taking advantage of new players, and keeping them from getting the higher level armors legitimately from bossing, sucking some of the fun away.

Great Potential!

I’ve been playing this game for almost a week now and I’ve experienced a lot. From slaying monsters and completing tasks, risking death in the PvP zone to mine valuable ore, to trading items and just chatting with other players. So far it’s very basic, but I have faith that in time this game could be so much more! The gameplay is very “grindy” and you’ll spend hours farming loot and leveling up your character. It’s 100% free-to-play and most certainly not pay-to-win which is excellent. I’ve encountered a few bugs here and there but nothing that a simple reboot couldn’t fix. The servers are a bit laggy at times, but from what I understand the game only has a single developer which blows my mind. If you enjoy games like MapleStory, Zelda, RuneScape, Terraria, Stardew Valley...you should definitely give this one a try. If you hurry you can still experience the holiday boss, The Snowverlord! Add if you see NeckRo, say hi! And I’ll try to help out a fellow noob :)

Great potential

To all the haters/1 star reviews: this is an early access game, obviously not everything is perfect, they have more stuff being implemented. There are definitely bugs and problems with the current content though. Forcing to register with a google account isn’t the best, I even had bugs at one point trying to log in where the keyboard wouldn’t show up. Account in use bug when your player is in game when you aren’t on your device is a problem. The only time it happened to me is when I switched from WiFi to data, so I recommend not switching networks when in game. The grind for smithing is extremely unbalanced. 3000+ ores for 10 levels is absurd. Level 40 to 70 in smithing requires 9000 ores. Considering you have to walk all the way to the ore just to be able to hold 36 at a time (assuming your inventory is empty) and then craft so few at a time just makes the matter worse. Make the boxing method able to work with crafting or somehow ease the amount of running around to craft/dump materials. I’ve seen other reviews claiming they were false banned, and I certainly hope that is false because the amount of grinding in this game would kill me if I lost my progress. There are multiple anti macro methods such as filling inventory quickly and ores running out and you move to a near ore to continue instead of waiting. Maybe include proof of something they did wrong or temp ban first.

LURERS AND SCAMMERS EVERYWHERE

Do not bother with this game.. nonstop repetitive grinding to feel absolutely no real satisfaction when you finally get an ancient scimitar and do pvp and only bring 3 items that the game tells you you wont lose, ancient scimitar umbral helmet and phantom boots, but you kill someone and they drop 3 glacial blades that are level 70 sword costs pocket change compared to an ancient scimitar (300k sword vs 600m scimitar) and you pick up the 300k sword then someone 10 levels high than you runs up and kills you and you keep the 300k sword over the 600m sword?????!??! Yeah F you bart and F this game for being designed to trick and steal from the customer... thankfully my bank refunded me $$ i spent on ingame shards and you guys didnt get shlt from me... but BEWARE!!!! This game was secretly made to steal your information ( email and passwords etc) that you use on other games like runescape, and was made to do real world trading... this game is used as a "dump" for stolen credit cards, the ingame money is sold for real money through underground black markets, using stolen credit cards they buy ingame currency known as "shards" which are traded for ingame gold, which is traded for real life dollars... have reported to the IRS, give it about a month or two and this game will be removed permanently from app store. SMFD BART!!!!!!! Toxic community
