Horrible UI

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I was able to get the app to work on IOS 9. But, the interface is horrible and dated, and for some reason the audio for the app doesn't use the standard Apple libraries, so the audio stops when the app goes into the background or the phone locks, and there is no way to use airplay to listen to a presentation.

It doesn’t work

Half the time titles don’t play. I got a new firm phone so I thought it would solve the problem. What I need is my 2001 Nokia which I think would run this app flawlessly. Unfortunately, none of the last several generations of iPhone have done this. A real wash. Also now it doesn’t work in my car. How regrettable.

Used to work

This app used to work. I could download mobile CLE content and then listen and actually obtain credit. For some unknown reason, they have stopped updating it. The Apple still load but the buttons don’t work when you try to start a program. This is a very valuable tool. West, please update this app.

Doesn’t work

This mobile app doesn’t work anymore. It syncs my program list (after you logout and back in) but it repeatedly says “unable to download” when you attempt to access the program. It’s ridiculous that a major legal vendor can’t have a mobile app that works.

Yes, I procrastinate...

But I digress. This app is so awesome. I was behind on my CLE and it helped me catch up on my credits while I was commuting to and from work, and during my daily workout.) Not quite as catchy as Meaghan Trainor's latest album, but still really good stuff!) And easy. Highly recommend.

Glitchy and defective

This app is utter garbage. Purchased programs typically can’t be downloaded, then when they actually download, I can’t submit them for credit. The app crashes and closes out when I attempt to do so. Furthermore, the app does not synchronize orb the desktop access because I had to rewatch completed CLE’s in oser to obtain the certificate. All around, this app is pathetic.

It worked!

The app worked great for me! I downloaded the app tonight and received my first CLE certificate by email right afterward! Maybe the bugs have been fixed.

Two problems - login/password errors and screen being on

The app works well as a way to earn CLE. The main problems are that it will repeatedly login if you accidentally touch the screen or have your phone in your pocket. That makes you have to reset your Westlaw password (which is annoying). Second issue: the screen has to be on. You can’t listen and turn off the screen as you can with nearly all other apps. This is also pretty annoying.

No longer works

As all the other recent reviews state, this app is no longer functional. This mobile app previously developed problems synching what you did on the mobile app with your account as accessed through the website but now it will not even download a course you have selected/purchased. Tried with multiple courses over multiple weeks. No downloading possible. Hope the app is fixed and updated in the future. It was useful back when it was functional.

Barely functional

The search feature stinks (I generally search and purchase on the website and then just use this to play the program since the search is so bad). The worst thing though, is there is no way to force a synch (so it could be days/weeks/months before content appears for you to download).
