I’ve been on clapper for several months now. I enjoy it so much because it’s so different than other social media sites. This is the first social media app with video content creation that got social media right! Here they combat bullying the right way. They don’t allow the toxicity like on other social media platforms. You get to personally chat with the employees of The algorithm is made a lot more clear and moderation is held to a exact guidebook and not just personal opinion. The community is generally nice and if they don’t enjoy the content they typically just scroll. Clapper allows the community to get together and allow our voice to be heard. Aside from that, this app is also fun! The gifts in lives are great, the radio is unique, the highlights during holidays and the groups are fun! Not only have I met amazing acquaintances, I’ve also made real true friends that I can now talk off the app. The app is nearing on its 1 year Birthday/Anniversary…Yes there has been some glitches and some things that some OG’s have had to adjust because of something that is out of Clappers control. However, aside from all that, this app has grown and overall, I enjoy it very much! I hope this app continues to grow and I hope to continue being a part of this amazing clapper community!

Awesome app

I honestly think this app is awesome... there are negatives to it but overall I think it’s a great app... some things I would recommend is adding more stuff that’s different from tik tok... Something that makes it awesome compared to tik tok... when it’s similar to Tik tok all you do is compare it to tik tok and that’s not always the best... here are some of my suggestions that might be cool... it’s my opinion so some of them are stupid... 1. Maybe you can make a leaderboard of the top people who have the most followers, you can also maybe do this for the likes, and top shared videos, all types of different categories. I think this idea could be awesome bc I’ve never really seen it anywhere else in a app like this.. I don’t have time right now to finish so this is all I’m writing... but I definitely recommend this app to everyone!!!

I really like it but it could grow too.

I LOVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH!! This is definitely my favorite thing about this app. So important! I get on here to hear real news and opinions that aren’t censored! I have really been enjoying it a lot but there is room for improvement. I know this is supposed to be the alternative to TikTok (thank God) but it is missing some of the bells and whistles. I would like to see more categories appear. There’s so much to see on TikTok, I’d like to see more on here. To be perfectly honest, TikTok was my outlet to sing without having to post on Facebook or Instagram. Singing to strangers is a lot easier than your friends so I enjoyed that but there’s not much of that on clapper. I love watching people display their talents too so I think it’d be more fun if there was more of that too. But I am loving the ability to be honest on this platform about politic, yes, but other things as well. Thank you, Clapper!

an honest review

I downloaded a few days ago, It’s hard to get used to if you’re joining with the expectations that it will equate to tiktok. actually I personally like it much better after fixing my algorithm. there are no filters at all when recording which i have no problem with, it seems to discourage insecurities from being created and fed into in the app. you can upload videos still so this doesn’t limit you from editing your posts. the thumbs down button will take content off your foryou page, this is awesome however if you accidentally click it on a video you enjoy, say asta la vista cause you'll never see it again. personally I LOVE the fact that both spanish and english posts are in my feed. i’d like to broaden my horizons, not shrink them. but if you’re choosing one language over another, say not interested on the language you don’t want. the community is much better here but I do wish the algorithm didn’t look like an onlyfans page before the algorithm gets your likes right. it was very unpleasant to have to say not interested about 50 times before it understood i’m not interested at all in that content. group chats help to find your niche community faster.this app has some great features and hopefully can keep up with the rise in traffic on the app. people in the community are also not extremely fragile like in tiktok. you can disagree and still get along. as it should be, cause no one agrees on everything.

Clapping furiously for Clapper!

Clapper is a relatively new social media app that is quickly gaining popularity. High potential

I was recruited to this app from being seen on a different platform I’m a creator on. I enjoy having an app that focuses on freedom of speech, politics, point of views- things that a lot of viewers don’t want to see on other apps. This app gives the ability to create content on these topics that others can engage with. On my other platforms my content isn’t based around content like this. Those apps aren’t created for those topics that this app is specifically for. I enjoy to step away from my other content and have the ability to share my thoughts/beliefs on here. I enjoy having a like and dislike option. The reason I give 4 stars is for 2 things I dislike. 1- the quality of a video I create and shared onto here is horrible! Video quality seems like “GIF” quality. 2- I will receive a notification, but I can’t get my feed to update when I try to look at comments/likes. This app has a lot of potential moving forward. I honestly wouldn’t of known of this app unless I received a message.

Tiktok but make it Idiocracy

Didn’t like the videos on my feed. They were all really not great at all. I liked the first two videos I saw and then after that it was just a bunch of videos that seemed like the creators were trying too hard, jokes that weren’t funny, a lot of perverted content, and stomach churning predatory type people all over this app, I could go on but I’m sure this paints enough of a picture. Most of the content is, unsurprisingly, of the far right wing variety so it makes sense. Birds of a feather flock together. I was hoping for a tiktok alternative but this essentially just ended up being the version of tiktok they’d use in the movie Idiocracy, it’s pretty bad. :( maybe I’ll come back if the app is able to pull in creators from more niches and backgrounds so the content is more varied. Also the whole “clapback” aspect, while really clever and I like the general idea and play on words, over all the place it has in the app is kind of negative in connotation and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The whole app is just kind of a bad vibe :/

I had high hopes

Okay i think most of the issues are obvious but ill be specific. I started my clapper account and instantly noticed the main group of people using the app. I started posting, my videos did well from the start once i got the hang of the algorithm. Then the middle aged clapper women got mad because the young Onlyfans girls that were getting kicked off tiktok were on Clapper. Now i was told by a OF girl to post my food vids on clapper not a middle aged adult. Although the middle aged adults were the primary ones liking and following me. Fast forward a bunch, i havent used the app in months 200+ notifications but i dont post because ITS BORING. It was the same as it was then, now. This is WestVirginia Hillbilly tiktok with no beautiful women and old people. Most of those people look like cousins. Theres so much potential. An how are you making money with no ads? Plus the layout is terrible. I know your looking for an older crowd but this aint it chief. I really did try.
