Cinemood is one love!
My review is not about an app but the device Cinemood itself. It’s amazing! We had a first version which recently “traded-in” into a new 2021 TV one and kids just love it! It’s now projected onto a wall with a great quality, I can’t express how excited is our boy (and happy parents). It’s pricey, yeah, but it worths it! I’d highly recommend it to my friends, it’s much better than iPad or TV (we still don’t abuse it though, max 1h before going to bed is a good deal!)
Poorly designed app
I just received my CINEMOOD & was so excited to set up & get started. The app was useless & the menu is sparse. How is anyone supposed to know how to navigate this device?? The manual inadequately describes the device, so I was really hoping the app would be easier to figure out. And we shouldn’t have to contact customer support to figure out how to use the device- that’s even more work than I want to do!👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Perfect navigation! The app is working smooth, I’m so glad now I can navigate any types of operations thru my phone, I love watching Netflix on the wall!
Very easy
We love our CINEMOOD tv and this app has been really helpful. It’s very convenient and easy to use. The buttons on the device are great and easy. But this is nice when you don’t want to get up. Lol my kids love it and my oldest can easily use my phone when he needs to change something.
App doesn’t connect to projector.
I love the product and the app connected the first time to setup the projector. Then nothing it just searches and searches. 45 min of trying to connect and I’m about to Elvis it!! The app needs to be more user friendly. Should be able to connect to the product with ease not have to search. This is the only complaint. I would give the product 5 stars but massive work on the app needs to be done for customers to enjoy. Possible solution is a small remote, especially if traveling and no guarantee of WiFi connection.
Still Can’t Use It
I bought one of the first CINEMOOD projectors and I still can’t stream anything and don’t even enjoy it because it every time I go to use it I can never get it to work so I just get frustrated and put it away until the next time I want to get frustrated by trying to actually use it.
not my favorite
this is awful! it does not give half the things promised and is not a good gift for anyone over the age of 6. it is glitchy and the focus button does nothing as it is still crummy and unclear! the screen mirroring effect does nothing and does not make you able to stream other apps at all! i tried disney plus (because there was no disney movies on this thing as promised) and it ended up a huge mess. DO NOT RECOMMEND. the only thing i actually like was the small size but i would rather carry around a horse because it would do more than this thing.
App makes navigation easier
The app does make navigation easier but all in all is a clunkier interface than I would like. I bought this for my 8 year old and she has a hard time using this device. I was hoping this would be something she would independently be able to utilize. She does need me to assist. Could be more user friendly, but glad that I have the app and do not have to solely rely on the buttons on the actual device.
Nothing ever works
Not only does the app always have problems (won’t even let me sign in currently) but the cinemood itself never works either. I have tried to connect with customer service and never hear back. What a waste of money.
The app is junk
The only thing this app is good for is to remotely control the device. Other than that, it is just plain bad. There is very little explanation on how to use the app itself. The buttons are not labeled so who knows what they even do. Supposedly you can store files onto the device and watch them but there are no instructions anywhere. This app needs a lot of work to be more useful.
