Possibly the WORST APP EVER!
This app does not work nor does the web site. You’ll enter all of your data, answer all of the questions and get to the end only to be left with no way to continue, no email, nothing! Out of five attempts and 45 minutes wasted it may possibly work. Again, app or web site. I live in Colombia and have used Check-Mig s’more than 100 times … it is absolutely terrible. Embarrassingly bad. ☹️
How to finish the application
The app is pretty bad. I used an iPhone. When you select the type of transportation you’re using you’ll probably select comercial air. The problem with that is that the app bugs out and doesn’t let you advance. Hit the back button and select private then hit next. Then hit the back button again and select commercial air. You’ll be able to bypass that option now. From there, everything was pretty smooth.
Worst app
I would have to say that I have never downloaded an app so useless as this one. I tried opening it and all I get is a blue screen and back to my home screen on my phone. I also tried it through the web page and it would just freeze. My son is suppose to travel and I need it to complete the forms. I tried contacting them, e-mails but all I get is dead ends. No purpose yet we needed to do important process.
Does not work. Unable to travel to colombia
I can’t believe a whole country is unable to have contingency measure when their app does not work . They didn’t let me travel because the app and the website to submit the questionnaire does not work . No way of a paper questionnaire. It is unacceptable. And this app shouldn’t even be allowed to be in the AppStore . It doesn’t provide any value .
The most useless and stressful app
Colombia has recently change the rules to come into the country, a form has to be filled up 24 hrs prior departure or you will be left in the place of origin. The app gets continuously frozen even with excellent WiFi conexión and the process has to start all over again, I am not joking I had to restart the app at least 6 times before I could finish our process. We saw people at the airport feeling out and with reason because they were unable to conclude their process. Also if you are flying with minors you have to register supposedly with an adult but there is a pint where the app stops and takes you nowhere I was unable to register my baby girl and was almost left in Mexico because of this I could see her on my online app but the email would not come for her ..... is a total desastre ..... super slow gets, gets frozen is very very stressful
It does NOT work
This app or their check mig website does not work. It’ll let me fill out everything abs when I try to send in my registration, it gives me an error. I have tried with different websites, different devices and it still does not work. There’s no way to contact them and explain the situation. Very frustrating
Leave it to Migración Colombia to make things more difficult
The app is not only full of bugs and hard to navigate from one page to the next, but also does not always guarantees you to receive the so needed confirmation email, leaving you with no options as you can’t do another check-in!So can’t say don’t download it, because you are required to, I just wish you better luck than me!
This app DOES WORK
When this was first implemented two years ago on the web, it was touch and go. I ran into a lot of bugs that eventually got worked out. And it seems that those behind the check Mig website and app made efforts to make it work and it does. The problem now is that under the English your nationality pull down menu is in Spanish. Rather that saying US or US Citizen, it says Estados Unidos. And since it is so easy to make mistakes maybe the biggest reasons why the site or the app may ‘not work’
Gonorrhoea in app form
Well... it doesn’t work. Which means if you depend on it you won’t be able to check in and you will miss your flight. Read the reviews. It has happened to many. The incompetent Colombian government can’t program its way out of a paper bag yet they feel justified in this requirement. The only other route is the horrible CheckMig website. I got it done there after several attempts and crashes.
Does not work
This app is very bad could not register to go to Colombia I wanted to see my girlfriend in Medellin but could not Colombia either needs to get rid of this app or replace it with something else and honestly what is wrong with pen and paper upon arrival you have disembarkation cards right why not have this paper upon arrival for check-mig instead that would be more helpful than an app that is broken beyond repair, please either get rid of this stupid requirement or fix the app with better programmers, I love your country Colombia I love the people but this has seriously got to go please allow an alternative to this application like a paper questionnaire upon arrival or aboard the flight please do not allow this app to keep ruining people’s flights like it did mine please Migración Colombia hear me I missed being with my Colombian girlfriend and her family because of this app please do something better than this,Thank you for your time
