Perfect Workout Log & 1-time fee for upgrade

This is the best app for logging in your workout, creating custom exercises, custom routines, and easily changing weights or repetitions as you progress. Always shows your last weight and repetitions. Easily allows addition of cardio exercises with weight exercises. I upgraded immediately because there was only a 1-time fee. I’m not paying monthly fees for an exercise app. Super, super app!!!

I wish more people knew about this app!!!!

Honestly I have never been more impressed and happy with an app. First of all it’s free for what you need it to do! You can add exercises that aren’t already there and it looks it up on you tube or google. And what’s even great is the pre set exercises in the app have a person doing the exercise for you to see! I have used this app for 3 weeks and I can’t recommend it enough!! I am now my own coach and am saving hundreds of dollars a month.

Just works

I’ve tried (and paid) for so many workout apps over the years, but they all have at least one quirk that drives me nuts. This app just works, plain and simple. It’s smooth, designed well, and setting up workouts is as easy as it should be. I don’t use the discover tab as I’m already set in my workout ways, but it is an easy 5 stars when it comes to simple logging.

Great app

Does everything I need in the free version. Obviously some limitations that require the pro version but after using the app for about a year I can say I'm about ready to spring for the pro version. Wish there was an apple watch app as well but this is one of the best free options I've found. Well done.

Loving everything about Bolt!

It’s great that you can make custom exercises and add notes to remind yourself of things like how long to hold certain positions, what to watch for in your form etc. And really useful to see the history of the weight and reps you completed last time you did the routine, so you can tell if you’re stagnating and need to up your weight. Seeing that has definitely subtly nudged me to keep progressing, and I’ve started going up in strength a lot more quickly than before.I also like having a timer run in the background to show me how long I’ve been doing a routine, definitely helped me balance out my week better. And the best part is that it keeps my place if I navigate away from the app to change my music or something. Even if I completely close the app accidentally, it still knows the routine i was in the middle of and when I started so I can jump back in with no problem, which is so relieving.

Great workout app!

I am only using the free version, so can’t talk about the premium. Love the fact that I can pick from a long list of exercises. If I forget how to do the exercise, I can look it up and they show how to do the exercise correctly. Easy to track the last workout and try to improve on this workout. It’s also easy to modify the exercise routine to customize for your abilities. Very handy!

Fooled Me

When it says up to six exercises free, it means the exercises WITHIN your workout, not the workouts you have throughout week. Not the routine. So your amazing workouts are allowed only SIX. That amazing Back Day of yours? Forget recording it on here unless you want to pay another membership fee on top of the personal trainer and gym youve had. Just another subscription hog. $99 for an app forever? How long do you think workout tracker apps last? How long do you think developers keep up on bugs and updates. Apps are a business and majority fail in 5 years. Math it up like you do the plates and your macros. $100 aint worth it. Stick to your notepad on your phone you paid $1000 for. Do the work yourself. Or buy a journal. The spending has to stop. I wanted a simple tracker. They want my salary.

I’ve been waiting for an app like this.

I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks and I love it. You can make your own custom workout and go back to it every week just by clicking on it again. It’s really easy to track your lifts and they have instructions on how to do almost every exercise. The only downside is the pro version is too expensive for me

This is so useful. Just lacks ONE thing

I really love this app. It’s amazing how easy it is to design workouts and even add custom exercises. However, I do think that there’s something missing: HIIT timers. Don’t get me wrong, I know that this is for weight lifting, but there are some exercises that I want to do for an specific time and not for a number of reps. Maybe something else, but this is just a personal taste: I would like the timer to be a little bit bigger, or have the option to just focus on the timer.

Fantastic App and service

I wrote a 1 star on here but do not know how to edit it. I originally gave it a 1 star because I couldn’t restore my subscription, BUT this app is definitely a 5 star. After I emailed the support team, they replied within the hour telling me how to restore the subscription and it was MY FAULT, not there because I wasn’t looking in the right area. This app does everything I could ask for and more including showing small gif like images showing what a workout is and which muscle group it targets which is great for when I want to switch up my routine. Would definitely recommend this app.
