Perfect For ALL Your Lists!!

I use this everyday! I had to switch to this app because back in the day, my old one was a 32 bit and wouldn't be updated. I didn't want to switch, but am so glad I did! Fantastic for your Grocery List, To Do List, Order Online List, etc. Whatever you want to list! And um, yes you CAN set your grocery list up by the layout of your store (another reviewer said you couldn't). Just put a number in front of your category per layout of your store. For example: my store starts out with Hygiene on one side of the store, next is Cleaning, next is Home Care, next Crackers, etc. So you put the sequential numbers in front of the category.. 1 Hygiene, 2 Cleaning, 3 Home Care, 4 Crackers, etc., working your way to the other side of the store. Of course putting the items you want under each category. So simple and easy! Gets you through the store very fast- no backtracking, which I always used to do!

It really is the best!

I like that it supports multiple lists of items sorted by category. I really like that it transfers checked off items to a ‘bought’ items list that I can clear when I’m ready. It lets me edit and delete anything. It does everything a shopping list app should do for me without unnecessary bloat.

Good not great

Can add categories. Can add lists. Hard to edit items. Does not sych with other devices. Can not place items that have been purchased in alphabetical order (such as bread,milk, cheese, etc). So next time you need those items you have to scroll through the whole list. Very inconvenient. This is my biggest complaint. If there is a way to fix this let me know

No sync

I am trying this app because my current one is being phased out. The multiple lists are nice. The data glories may be a difficult setup but one in place works nicely. I frequently switch between my iPhone and iPad. I have been used to an auto sync between the two that I have with multiple apps. Not this one. You can use Dropbox but that's too much for me. I also would prefer that notes would accompany the email or text lists.

Replaced Grocery IQ

I was skeptical about paying money for this app when I lost access to Grocery IQ when my phone offloaded it. With being said, this app is just as wonderful as Grocery IQ. It even remembers the prices for the foods I’ve put in over time. My only suggestion would be to be able to archive Grocery lists instead of completely deleting them and being able to just have the keyboard default when inputting prices and quantities. It’s s little extra having to flip between the two.

Perfect!

There is a small learning curve with this app & you have to dig into the settings to set the categories up properly, but afterwords you're all set. Just use Siri to determine what local taxes apply to your purchases & you'll know to the penny exactly how much money your spending. The interface is clean & simple without being cluttered. Make lists for wherever you shop & use it often. It even includes an Watch app & backup to Dropbox. Spend the few bucks for the price. You'll find it quite useful.

Best shopping list I’ve found.

Keeps track of multiple stores. Keeps a master list, and also customizes for each store. Lets you delete items you don’t buy, or rename them if you call them something else Ie biscuits/ cookies. Lets you change category names too. It takes a little while to get the hang of it, but it’s not too hard. I’d like it better if when you are searching for an item rather than scroll all the way down the list for each item, you could type the first few letters and it would predict what you might want from your list and let you add another letter or choice. Then you would only have to type the whole word when you were adding a new item, or scroll through each item if you need a reminder of something you’ve forgotten to list. Over all I really like it and have used it for several years.

Good app, but this would make it even better....

This is a great app and I am enjoying making my lists for everything, but it would be even better if you had the option to lock individual lists. I have a Christmas list for my kids that I would like to lock, but yet not lock my grocery list since my daughter helps me with that. 😀

Great App!

I really like this app especially since I can use it on my watch while shopping. The ability to categorize grocery items was why I purchased this app over others. I haven’t taken advantage of adding prices to my saved lists because it only shows a total for the Have Bought items. It would be nice if you could add a “To Buy” total amount so the user can see how much a planned grocery trip is going to cost beforehand. Also when I first got this app I just created lists that I reuse over and over again and I save them by store name so having an automatic list creation date isn’t really necessary for how I use it. Maybe have the date as something optional for saved lists. With these changes I’d rate it 5 stars. Thanks!
