Very fun and addicting however..

This game from the jump has you addicted, it’s very fun, progressing through levels and upgrading your characters brings a satisfying reward from putting in time and effort. I have 2 complaints. The first being that recently I played the game for a few hours, only to notice the next time I logged on I lost every unit and upgrade I earned, but I got none of my in game currency back that I spent on those units. I noticed my Mammoth was white before I left, I believe it was a level 4. Then it turned back to a brown level three when I returned, many of my units down graded, also, I left on level 148, and when I returned it booted me back to level 110. My second complaint is the A.I. has a hard time moving around the maps especially when you have a lot of units at play. This oftentimes leads to a loss when you should’ve won based on power and positioning. I hope the issue with the game saving itself fixes soon, as well as the AI movement. Aside from that it’s a solid and fun game, it’s very casual and easy to play. And like i said, very addicting. Which adds to the disappointment of losing your hard work.

Update ruined game

Good game to pass the time and keep you coming back for more, I’ve played almost 2000 levels and I keep coming back to play. I like getting new characters to upgrade and use to beat harder levels and bosses. Only problem I have is that in an update they got rid of the ability to earn gems really. Before I was able to earn them through the crate and special missions, but now I can only earn them through challenges and they barely give you any gems to use. They also made buying characters with gems harder and more expensive, before it’d cost 250 gems to open a special pack and now it cost 1000 gems. How are you supposed to regularly open them if you can’t even earn the gems to do so? Just seems like they care more about getting people to buy gems then have fun and earn them.

Fun game with a few drawbacks

The game starts out very fun. You only have a few troops to watch after, and they aren’t in each others way. You also earn gold relatively quickly so you can keep upgrading your army. However, once you get around level 100 the game becomes very frustrating. You have so many troops that they start running into each other and spazzing out. The AI is not tuned well at all. You barely get enough gold to buy another player, and when you do buy another player it’s more than likely going to be a weak one you don’t even want. Also your battery dies extremely fast playing this game once you reach the high levels. I feel like the developers did really good with the early game, but late game they didn’t care at all.

Fun but needs work

So i’ll start off by saying this is a fun little casual game. satisfying graphics, more or less historically accurate (as in the troop design) and is just quite simply a well rounded game. my biggest issue is that many times you will lose battles because some of your troops go completely stupid and have awful pathing and target allocation. sometimes rearranging your layout will help (but never completely) and other times they continue to stutter in a seizing manner or just play ping pong with their eyes and do nothing to contribute. it’s a little annoying but at the end of the day the game is pretty funedit: would love it the dev team could explore the possibility of a sandbox mode!!

Fun game but too many ads that don’t count

I like the game, and it is fun. I don’t even mind watching the ads…until an ad pops up that has a timer that counts down from 5 in the corner. Any ad that has this will not count as an ad. It does not matter if you click on the X or the skip button that pops up right away, or if you watch the entire ad and then click. They simply do not count as you watching the ad at all. And it’s not once or twice and mixed in with other ads. Sometimes it will play one of these over and over and over. I’ve had it happen several times with at least 10 in a row, without it counting as watching an ad. My record is 17 times in a row, that I clicked “watch ad”, and had one of these 5 second countdown ads pop up, and no matter how long I watched, or how many times, have it count for nothing. I’ve never had this problem with the normal length ads. This hasn’t just happened a few times. This is hundreds of times since I started playing.

Chill Game

It’s a decent past time game that doesn’t really need any time commitment. Graphics are good and I haven’t had an major glitches or any at all really. I have two complaints: 1. It’s extremely difficult to acquire any legendary cards with paying for diamonds, I would suggest cutting down the amount diamond amount for cards so that casual players can use them and level them up, players who want to pay for diamonds will pay no matter the cost amount, also making epic and legendary more available on the common card draw would be nice. 2. After like like 600 the game becomes stagnant and it takes way longer to unlock a epic card. I’m at level 800 ish and I haven’t even unlocked the last common card and a dozen or so epic cards. So yeah that’s all I have to say other the those to comments it’s a decent game totally recommend.

Ok Hit lvl 3000, Now what?

So the game is great fun and upgrading is addictive and satisfying. My army is all lvl 8/7/6 w/ 1 lvl 9 sabertooth and then i hit level 3000 and its over? All i can do is replay it for a measly 6233 coins? Are you serious? You have plans on here for such and such amount of money per year but the game takes 2-3 months to beat and then theres no more variety or challenge at all? How about some procedurally generated levels that scale with the level of your army? How about a new game + where you start over and its much more challenging? Or make it so you get more coins and rewards bases on how few warriors you use to win? Something? Anything? Until there’s an update expanding the endgame in some way its kind of a waste of time and money if you spend any.

Great foundation

Super fun game to start. I love the idea of moving through time and fighting all kinds of different warriors. Almost reminds me of one of my old favorite TV shows “Deadliest Warrior”. However, it does get pretty repetitive after awhile and once you get to higher levels your phone may start to overheat like mine did. I also think it’s way too hard to get gems. And I’m not sure if the missions are supposed to reset everyday but mine have not.I think it would be really cool if you could buy troop/weapon upgrades with coins. Kind of like the “research” features they put in other games to advance civilizations. I think something like that would even make room for you to put some creative, interesting, or funny history facts about each group of warriors. My last suggestion is to let us upgrade characteristics like strength/health/etc for the heroes of each time period (like son of Og) and also give each hero an additional special effect on troops.

Fun game, till the ads wear you out

Interesting concept. I enjoyed the first two hours of gameplay. I was able to get to level 60+. I have two concerns with this game the first is the number and type of ads this app will make you watch. The second is reward progression or to put it another way game progression. Ads are typically 30 seconds of video with an additional pop up at the end. If your device, data plan, or mental state struggles to support this type of app, you may want to look elsewhere for your entertainment. Mandatory add watching is not consistent and that you may be able to play a couple levels without watching an ad. However you can also watch ads repeatedly every level. You can also voluntarily watch ads for additional rewards. When you first start playing this game the rewards match the level that you’re playing. The whole point of this game is to collect units/cards that can be combined to produce stronger units that you use to fight opponents throughout history in short battles of approximately 30 seconds. When I first started a random card/unit was 100 gold. Buy level 60+ each card/unit was 14,000 gold and the reward to complete each level was approximately 1K to 1.5 K gold. You will probably be made to watch an ad every 2 to 3 levels/battles.I would not advise playing this game long-term. The gold and card costs do not match level progression. You will need to watch more and more ads for each additional basic card.

Stroke of luck

I was playing tennis champs with my friend and we stumbled upon this masterpiece of a game after we finished playing against each other. As a joke we thought it would be funny to download the game and ironically it turned out to be very fun. I did not expect this level of entertainment from such a mediocre looking ad but to my surprise this game is some of the most fun I’ve had playing a mobile game. I strongly recommend that people try and play this game because looks may be deceiving. In life you may not always expect what comes next and you always have to be open to opportunities. In conclusion my hypothesis was misguided by the stereotypes that this genre of game follows and I hope that in the future people will be more insightful to ads about random genres of games.
