Already found a bug 5 minutes in

saw this game on a add and it looked really fun so I downloaded it and did what it told me and I noticed that there is a free chest you can get every so often so I claimed the chest and then went to upgrade my minions and i spammed clicked on the minions and it crashed my game and once it booted up again I noticed I had another free chest to open and did the process a lot of time just to check if it was a glitch or something but it still works as of now and was even able to buy some blood upgrades and not lose any blood bc I could just keep opening the chest every time the game crashed but besides the little bug this game is great😊

It has nice art

The art caught my attention and it’s honestly the only thing it has going for it. Most Idle games have it where progress is exponential, but the cost of upgrades is too, like setting up hurdles to be jumped over by the player, and the hurdles get taller and taller. This is to prolong playability which is a good way to handle an idle. But this game doesn’t prolong gameplay by making the next hurdle bigger, it prolongs it by keeping you from approaching the hurdle.For example, most idle games allow you to unlock the ability to progress even when no longer in the app, albeit at a much slower rate. This game does it too but only 2 hours of the time you spend idle actually counts, if you want to all reap the rewards you spent having an actual life, you have to pay $10.There are other examples of this.IN SHORT: This game puts a basic feature most other idle games give you behind a paywall, it breaks you legs more than place obstacles to climb over.

Agree with Other Reviews

What it says on the tin, it’s fun but a little overly grindy, i had to play for hours to unlock the third monster and the second is unlocked in the tutorial. I also found a bug seemingly introduced in one of the newest updates, as the first time I played I could do all the challenges no problem, I took a break and came back a few days ago, after the Christmas update, and now the weekly challenges glitch between different challenges (ex. complete waves and kill monsters) and then don’t update at all and can’t be completed. A little rebalance and a (seemingly) small bug fix and I could easily give this game five stars. This is the first phone game I’ve been able acchieve a flow state in in a long time!

Wish the blood bats were purple or gold

I really think that the blood bats deserve to switch places with the Ghouls or the Blood Golems. Compared to those units, blood bats are much more useful, cute, and require a much more active play experience and it makes me sad to think there will be a point in the game where I can’t use them anymore because they’re capped at five silver skulls. It would also be nice to be able to re-grind the lower tiers to earn fragments. Being able to start over at any stage was a great feature of the earlier version of the game and I find myself setting the game down after doing the bare minimum to meet the daily quests these days whereas before I could play for hours demolishing villagers and knights. Even if the payoff was less than the first round through the quest, I’d like to spend more time raising the dead and wreaking havoc across the land

Game is okay but has potential

I downloaded this game not too long and have made some decent progress so far, and I think the game is alright. There are a few things I hope that they might improve on to make it better tho. I hope that they improve the next monsters a little more. I have personally just upgraded my Necromancer and wolf the entire time, because the cost to get my newer monsters up to a higher level is too costly for the reward given. I think later on there will be more content than what’s here now maybe some different side bosses or maybe a prestige system. I did enjoy the free chests and the Necromancer level up system. Overall an alright game iffy on if it’s worth the download in its current state.

I’m curios about something

Is everyone of your minions and your necromancer supposed to reset in level every time you open the game and in between waves? Also the game seems to only play for a little while and if you press too many things, the game force closes, which then means as soon as I open it again everything I have resets. This has happened over and over and it’s tough to build up resources, and very frustrating.I pretty much love everything about this game, the art style, the upgrade system, the idea, but it’s really hard to enjoy through the bugs I’m experiencing, I would definitely throw some cash at the game if I didn’t worry about losing my progress over and over, for now 3 stars, if those issues can be fixed, I would happily play it for a long time and give it 5 stars.

Great Game, only a few Qualms

I love this game! It’s a lot of fun and entertaining. My ONLY problems is I find it frustrating how hard it is to get the blood and souls. They aren’t rewarded the same as the Nether which makes leveling my creatures and Necromancer very difficult and slow going. I didn’t expect it to be as slow as it is, the nether is super easy to get which is great. But I find myself struggling to get past new waves without having to go back to the beginning waves and farm for HOURS to get enough to level up my minions in the Armory, Necromancer, and the research. And for someone like me, I don’t always have those HOURS to farm for this stuff so I tend to solely rely on the idle portion of the game to get lots of it which tends to be not as much as I hope. If the developers could buff how much you get of the souls and blood, even just a little (like instead of getting only 5-8 blood, get 20-30. Instead of just 20-40 souls get 50-80). It just feels overly tedious and it’s a bit frustrating

What I think of Idle Necromancer

This game is very fun, and I play it every day already! However, I did find some very minor bugs to fix. If the horde is still fighting, half of the horde would go offscreen, which gets annoying when you think you have to tap a lot to continue dominating. Another bug is the soul menu. Whenever I have a lot of souls and can’t spend them on myself, whenever I switch between 2 units it suddenly kicks me. If these bugs get fixed, I think this game would be way better. All in all, this is a very nice game to play, and I’ll highly recommend it for other people.

Failure

Spent an hour playing, and the game is just boring. It fails to accomplish the fantasy of raising an undead horde for numerous reasons:1. The undead units are boring. I spent the first hour with only 2 units available, zombies and skeletons do the exact same thing. I finally unlocked the third unit, and it is literally the exact same as the first two, just because it looks different doesn’t make it different. 2. Enemy units are much stronger than yours. Your entire horde will get cut down from Wave 30 onwards, as the game introduces AoE sword users, and they comprise almost all of each wave, theres not even any diversity in the enemies, but its literally impossible to create an undead horde with these guys able to kill 5+ units in a single swing. 3. Lying about stats, each unit has 3 stats, power, health, and something else which isn’t explained. I can tell that higher tier units do deal more damage. But no matter what point of the game I was at, my units were always one shot. Why even give units a health stat if it doesn’t do anything. 4. Nothing to do, unlike other idle games, where you can tap to advance your progress. Even this mechanic is delegated to a timer. You have no spells to cast, unit positioning doesn’t matter. You literally can not do anything other than wait for your units to chew through the enemy.

Broken

It’s a broken, incomplete game that is disguised as a finished product. All minions disappear when you close the game and zero progress is made. The only thing that matters with minion level is their damage rating, everything else is irrelevant. It doesn’t matter if you’re on wave 1 or wave 100, if an enemy takes a second swing, it doesn’t matter if your minion wasn’t hit by the first swing, he is going to die regardless of how much health he has. If the devs put any effort into this game and added more features, fixed bugs, made enemy’s have actual properties as opposed to being a one hit killer, then this game could be pretty enjoyable. There is also no diversity in enemies, it’s the same ones over and over again. Not sure if it’s just laziness or incompetence, either way, it is incomplete and broken, mate.
