Big Miss on Converting Over from ProofHQ

I think you guys missed big when moving from the ProofHQ app version. Not getting any notification that you were killing off the app to launch your “Workfront” version made me believe that the original had yet to be updated to work with the latest IOS. Not sure why you think that this gradual merge, shift, implementation of your acquisition needs to be almost subliminal rather than taking the opportunity to clearly keep your “paying” customers informed of the comprando product we are essentially supporting. There are other proofing tools available, I’d be careful not to lose market share due to irresponsible PR miscommunication.

Always crashes

The app can’t stay open for more than just a few seconds. I use the Proof app by going through the main Workfront app, and as soon as it opens the Proof app, it starts to glitch out and then crash after just a few seconds. It used to work just fine for me; then they released an update that just made everything awful.

Low functionality.

Our organization benefits from being able to use this app throughout departments. Unfortunately, the functionality of the iPad version is so low it’s hardly usable. Lacking core functionality like not being able to highlight text, photos not loading properly, among others, makes it virtually unusable on this platform. Great idea; worthless app.

Can’t log in and download files

The app won’t recognize my email. I have to click the link for the actual proof in my email to get the proof to open. And when I load comments, it doesn’t show the entire comment, including attachments. You have to double-click on the comment, which is counterintuitive. I only knew to double-click because I had seen the comment on the desktop computer. Every time I tried to open the attached file, the app would crash. This has a long way to go before being useful and productive.

Always crashes

I can’t even speak to the experience of using the app because it crashes every single time I try to open a proof. So useless. Absolutely insane that the only way to review proofs is on a computer because this app doesn’t work and it won’t allow you to review on a mobile browser.

Edits not working, screen keeps moving

As I try and highlight/drag a box around an area of the doc that needs editing the whole document slides, so how can I box in the content with a slide of my finger….also when I turn my phone to landscape the edit disappears. If I start in landscape, it won’t even let me click the tools to edit. 5 mins in im over it!

Should be pulled

Not sure why this is even still in the App Store. It hasn’t worked properly for a long time. It’s too bad, since I can’t proof items in a web browser on the iPad, either. Hoping Adobe can sort something out so I don’t have to fire up a laptop just to proof a design.

Skip it

The functioning on this app is so bad that you’re better off not even downloading it. Buttons don’t not work, you can’t look at a proof side by side with a previous version, you cannot see comments. You basically can’t do any of the normal functions of PHQ. Deleting now. It’s a waste of space.

Not user friendly and crashes a ton

Even after installing the update, it continues to crash every time I try to view a proof. Never mind the terrible User experience. If you click on view proof in WF, it prompts you to open WF Proof but then doesn’t take you to the doc you were trying to view. You have to navigate around to find it. And to view the proof, which seems to be the point of the app, you have to click on three dots for the command. Took me a while to figure that out the first time I used the app. It should be so hard to view a proof.
