Hours of Fun

This game has had some easy puzzles as well as more challenging levels, so I would say it is a good mix. I am nearly done with the whole thing and still have 27 hints without ever having bought any, so it is possible to play all the way through for free. I also haven't experienced any glitches like some other reviewers have mentioned, so perhaps it is their hardware that is faulty. Anyhow, I'm withholding a star only because the upper levels place words in exactly the same position from puzzle to puzzle so once you learn the pattern there isn't any challenge left. Also, there are misspellings which can stump you (sites vs. sights, for instance) needlessly.

magnificent/ in some ways

ok it all started last week it was a Wednesday night after i dropped off my kids to acting class. then i started getting bored so i went to my book shelf to read but i didn’t see any books i like so i went to my phone to download an app. (it has to be educational because you can never learn enough) so i got this app. then i played it and A HOLE NEW WORLD OPEN UP!!!! i was bewildered on what the app and i can achieve together. then it went downhill, the tricks it played on me were like “ turn on notifications for coins” or “write a review for coins” and then the worst thing happened.................I......ran...... out......of........LEVELS!!😭😭😭😭😭😭 it was so sad 😞 but i got the other wordwhizzle app and it was ok!! but all in all, it is worth it for all the fun time and don’t fall for all the tricks.

Loved it until about Level 1014

This was a great game, until about level 1014 when they started using words I didn't know how to spell, pronounce, or even have a hint to its meaning. I had spent the money to buy hints just to get rid of the ads. That was well worth it. Didn't need hardly any hints until high into the 900s. Then insane words. Finally resorted to looking up the answers online...which takes all the fun out of it. But there was no way I would have gotten words without using a hint for every letter. Too bad. It was a good game. Time to find another game!

Takes away acquired hints

I enjoy playing this game and had acquired 6 hints and it put up an ad for word bubbles so I thought sure why not. So I got it opened it up a I had 6 hints - so okay I thought they gave those to you for downloading. Nope they take your hints from one and put them on the other. Really cheesy guys - you should tell people that you are going to do that, oh but wait, is that what you do to get people to buy hints?? Cheesy!! If you like this game and want to actually leave it for the next just be aware if you come back all your hints stay with the new app.UPDATE: At level 112 I was given an unsolvable puzzle - even buying hints which I refuse to do, there was NO solution. So I guess that's it for me. It was fun while it lasted.

Real opinion and summary

There's is ads but it is fun and challenging that's what I like it's also really addicting so in my opinion I think you should get this app it starts to get a lot of fun when it gets more hard so once again I think you should get this apps also for those other people this game cannot be perfect and nothing can be perfect so yeah so once again I really think you should get this app especially if you get bored a lot so I think you should get this app

Love this!!!

i really like everything about this game except that i am not a paying player, so i have to see a 30 second ad every 2-3 rounds... Also, this game starts off kind of slow in the beginning... Aside from those 2 things- i love this game, (mainly since idk of any other word finding game apps that have clear cut categories like this one:) i really like the sound effects, -they're really fun!!! i also like being able to connect letters vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, as well!!! Keep up the great work & pretty please consider a way to make the ads seem a little more spaced apart... like, maybe players can watch three 15-20 second ads at a time, every 7 rounds - instead of two 30 second ads every 2 {3 if we're extra lucky} rounds... idk, i believe y'all can pull off SOMETHING as opposed to making us non paying players either "pay up" or spend more time watching ads than actually playing time!!!

Ads, ads, ads

To start, this is a really great game at its core. The responsiveness is great, the difficulty ramps up at a nice pace, and everything seems great. That is, however, until you throw ads in the mix. I understand ads are how you make a lot of your revenue, and I was willing to deal with the occasional ad or two in every ~10 levels; however, since I reached level 175 or so, there is an ad after every single level. This is not an exaggeration - it is after every single level. I can't stand the level of frustration that causes and turns a nice, relaxing game that I actually want to play into a ridiculous game of waiting for ads to end. I'm really, really tired of it and hope you pull back on those ads soon. I want to give you a better score, and gladly would, but the ads are severely hindering my enjoyment. Please fix this.

WordWhizzle = Poor

My rating is based on a 5-point scale where 5 = very good, 4 = good, 3 = fair, 2 = poor, and 1 = very poor.The game started out at a 5. I wish I could give the developers the benefit of the doubt, but I can't. 1) Although the words are easy enough that I rarely needed to use a hint, some of them are either spelled incorrectly or used in the wrong category. E.g., "it carries water" are pipe, river, and "pale" — where the correct word is pail. Any 8 year old can tell you that.In today’s daily puzzle, the word “borough” is used incorrectly. The clue is “animals live here” and the correct word is “burrow”. 2) it's very complicated to report any issues. Why isn’t there a “contact the developer” from the app itself?3) the categories/words don't have differing levels of difficulty. Most of them are so easy that I've never had to use a hint. In fact, I just collect a free hint whenever I think of it, and they just accumulate. The game is rarely challenging anymore.

Suspect!

Second time out, only two words to find. Got first word, there was only one word that the remaining letters spelled. Tried every which way to get it to work, even used the three hints I had left and that did work either!!!! Finally had to watch a video to get the last hint and, guess what?????? The word was what I had tried first time out. Had to use four hints to get a word that I knew in the first place!! Something's wrong with this app. Am not a happy camper at this point!Update - turned the sound off and it still plays interfering with the music I have playing on my iPad while playing this game! Can't determine if these are game issues or player issues!! Bottom line: I'm STILL not a happy camper!

Level 396, under Horse

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to write both words (surgeon and nurse) in this puzzle. I really think it is impossible. If anyone else has figured it out, I'd love to know how. I suppose I can't go any further until I do figure it out. HELP! Another thing that really upsets me is having typed this whole review only to lose it all b/c my nickname was already taken. This has happened twice! Why don't you tell me as soon as I enter the nickname that it is already taken, instead of making me lose my whole review and having to re-type it. Maybe you just do that b/c you don't like my review??The rest of the story...I figured out my problem and was able to work the puzzle after all. The thing that bothers me now is not getting a free hint when I solve the daily puzzle.
