Too Many ads and false abbreviations

I really like the challenge of this game, but I find myself getting so frustrated with the constant ads that freeze up and cause me to have to close and reopen the app over and over.Also, I have checked and not only does this game use abbreviations for words that are not used in English , it but also doesn’t accept words that ARE used, so you loose your points. And they also throw in Spanish and French words. All these issues have caused me to decide to stop playing. Too frustrating and not fun anymore. And, this was my favorite game!

Put your brain in gear!

Word Forest……..sometimes a bit confusing with the acorns and raiding the villages, but that’s okay. Most puzzles are relatively easy, but when you get a puzzle where MANY different words would work, but they are not the words wanted, it can be a bit frustrating. However, I love it! I’m 71 years old and it helps keep my brain sharp!

Don’t like the change

I started playing this last summer and grew attached to it so much that I was trying as hard as I could to help my team get acorns. Then it was easy to get high amount of acorns if you didn’t lose the streak of not putting in a non word. The reason change is horrible I hate it and several people on my team don’t like the new changes. No matter how many times you don’t miss the streak of correct words you won’t get hardly anything in acorns. I’m thinking about deleting the game because it is no longer fun to get streaks of words for not enough acorns. Please change back to before you recently changed it abs ruined it for everyone.

Word Forest Game App Review”

This game is nothing short of being ABSOLUTELY fantastic!!! The more I play this word game the more I fall in love with it because not only is it a word game but it is a build -and-attack-to-help-you-build-your-towns game too so you actually are playing two games at once. It does not get any better than this. Add to all of that the great graphics and super sound effects and it makes it an ABSOLUTE no-brainer to give this here game app a five-star review. Thank you ever so much for making this incredible game. Please keep up the phenomenal work.

All time favorite

I’ve been playing for 4 months and got addicted immediately. I found the League and played in a few different clubs until I found the one I felt most at home. I’ve been chatting with people from all over the world. Now I feel the need to play every day. Some teams are mainly for avid players, such as the team I’m on. Some people don’t like the ads but there are various ways to get rid of them. It’s a very inexpensive way to spend time and chat with people.

Keeps surprising me!

I love this game, it is constantly changing and adding something new. It’s challenging and fun. I wish they would change some of the words, I understand some of the less common words but some seem made up and when you ask for a definition you get a “oops” can’t find it. Also, they pass up good word choices and instead add a different ending to a word already used. However, I still give it a high rating for the surprising additions they add at different levels.

Too many ads - the game itself is amazing

If I was judging just on the game play I’d give it 5 stars it’s super fun, challenging enough without getting frustrated but I had to only give 2 stars because the ads are a lot. It takes me about 25-30 seconds to play each level and after every single level I’m forced to watch a 30 second ad. It’s just a lot. By the time I play my 3rd level I’m over the ads and end up stopping. I understand the need for some ads don’t get me wrong but maybe let us play a couple levels then an ad? I feel like I’m spending more time watching ads than actually playing.....It’s a shame because this is definitely a game I would play for hours if I didn’t get so turned off by the amount and length of ads.

Not worth the money to be force to be reckoned

The game it’s self is great .... when you can play it the ads are not worth playing this game it doesn’t matter if you want to watch the WHOLE ad you have to in order to play it and the ads are understandable BUT THE LENGTH OF THE ADS ARE ANNOYING!!!!! so they force you to pay I DONT THINK SO!!!!! I was going to pay but I figured if you’re forcing me I’m not I click the x in the left corner it takes me to play store then I X out of play store to get back to the game and I have to wait 30 more seconds then it takes me to another screen to interact with the ads game in this screen there’s no X so you have to wait another 30 to get back to the actual game SO SUPER ANNOYING NOT WORTH THE FRUSTRATION REALLY!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed

I have been searching for a word game that focuses on correct spelling and grammar. So far, I have downloaded & deleted 4. I have seen this game’s ads hundreds of times in other games I play, so I thought I would give it a try. Instead of the format shown during ads, it is once again just a “make a word” game at about a Grade 3 level. I have completed 27 levels and have yet to find the format in the ads. e.g. “they’re, their or there” Where is the game in the ads? ****After writing this, I saw that many reviewers had also experienced the same issue of misleading ads on game format.

Good way to pass the time

This is a delightful anagram-based game. One of the better ones simply because it has so many levels and opportunities to help you find a word you can’t figure out. You’ll certainly learn new words. The only issue I have is with the acorn (score) multiplier feature which multiplies your final score by how many words you’ve correctly guessed in a row. The multiplier always starts at zero or if you incorrectly guess a word it drops back to zero. Everyone know zero times anything is zero. It should begin at one, in my opinion.
