Great way to practice Korean and very fun!

I tried a lot of apps and this by far the best to help you master the alphabet, sounds and characters of Korean. It has a very colorful interface and let's you gradually progress through various exercises which build on each other. It's great if you are like me and cannot get into rote flash cards and repetitive "listen and repeat" systems. It also shows you how to do the strokes for the characters so can write them, too. You can try before you buy and if you do buy it is pretty reasonable and there is a fair amount of content to work through. Make no mistake though, if you are looking for a more comprehensive system, look elsewhere. This is just a starter. It would be good for these guys to do more as they have a real knack for developing fun exercises and content. They could probably do really well with more content and more advanced installments.

Easy and fun! I love it!

I was looking for an app to learn Korean alphabet and this app is just awesome. I recommend it to my friends who want to learn Korean, because it makes it really fun. And when I feel that I want to give up because it's hard learning other languages, the app helps me a lot. It also has different kinds of exercises and it doesn't matter if you're a kid or an adult, the game is really educating(?) (I don't know if that is the best word because I'm not an Anglian native speaker, sorry).

AMAZING!¡

This is really good so far. I'm Viet and thirteen years old and have trouble learning other languages since I'm already bilingual. I can really learn French, Spanish, or Latin since it will always remind me of English and Viet. But for Korean... this is an amazing app so far!! I just got it thirty minutes ago and was instantly engaged in the learning. Definitely recommend, and I probably wouldn't mind buying some courses later, if required.

Take back 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I now have no audio I think you make about four other apps like this one and if I don’t known that those didn’t have audio I would’ve never upgrade it oh how is it you can take something that’s working perfectly fine and screw it up I know better this was an ad that I was working with one of my prized app That now has absolutely no audio sound whatsoever on all four of your apps I have this particular app on my laptopI don’t dare upgrade it it works perfectly well off-line and I still have sound that’s pitifulI’m using an iPhone 8 or 10.4 and I’m not upgrading that system. I’m sick of tired of getting out of that perfectly work well until you guys start messing with it

Seriously SO good and entertaining!

I have studied language as young as second grade, bc I’ve always had a love of languages and would seek it out on my own. This is my fourth language I’ve worked in learning and this is by far my most favorite app to help someone learn a language! They teach letters in a way that naturally makes sense and progress from what you already know. Example: ㅅ (s) to ㅈ (j) to ㅊ (ch). They combine previously learned letters to make syllables to help you learn how to read, not just learn the alphabet. AND, they work on listening skills on top of the writing skills! This app is so worth the $2.99 I paid for it! It makes memorizing the letters and their sounds so much easier and a lot more entertaining! The one tip I would suggest to the makers is sometimes when the fireworks explode, it explodes at the same time as the pronunciation and makes it difficult to hear the pronunciation. So if they could edit the boom to sound after the pronunciation that would be a great improvement! But still, for the most part you can hear everything just fine and it’s totally worth it!

Best App for Learning Hanguel

I have looked at dozens of apps for learning Hanguel. This is by far the best one. This not only taught me read and write in Korean it made me master the Korean alphabet. I would recommend this for anybody who is having trouble at memorizing the letters (especially the vowels). I would recommend downloading it and then buying the full version, not because they have too many ads but because the developers deserve it for making such an amazing app.

Makes it easy to memorize!

Trying to memorize the sounds, what matches with what, and how to write out hangeul can get pretty repetitive. This is a really fun way to capture the language. It has different ways to learn through cool games. I have a couple different Korean apps, but this one makes a great interactive experience. My only complaint is that sometimes it gets a little too busy especially in between levels, I personally don't mind, but I can see how it can be a nuisance to some.

Sight reading drill

Uses romanicized phonetics to teach rapid decoding of Hangul. Speed drills are the best. I have only completed three levels which means I have completed rules for pronouncing Hangul (including the useful exceptions) but have not started on vocabulary training, which I obviously cannot speak to. However, I can assure any beginners that these exercises just so far are worth $20 as opposed to the $3 or so I paid to access full content.

Very worthwhile despite a few quirks

At first I wasn't sure if I liked this app because there were a few things that made it difficult, such as the answers overlapping so the wrong one accidentally got pressed, and it took some practice to get the hang of the fire works launchers, and if you try to write too fast sometimes it doesn't register the strokes. But, despite that I still like this app a lot. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use. I have learned the whole Korean alphabet in just a few weeks. The explanations are good, and it has pronunciations in two different voices. If you skip a day, it gives you a review session. You get practice recognizing, writing, and listening to letters/sounds. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five stars is because of technical issues. On chapter 2–15 the app froze on me and I had to reinstall it, losing all my stats. I was able to skip ahead to chapter 2 but I am having to redo all the lessons in chapter 2. Luckily I can skip the explanations and go right to the practice. Overall, I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn Korean. It is very worthwhile to know the Korean alphabet instead of using romanization translations, because it is not always clear in the romanization where the syllable breaks are. My pronunciation is definitely better because I am using this app.

Make Thai please

The way that y'all have delivered the lessons and the information is absolutely genius, fun, comprehensive, and specTACULAR! There are plenty apps for learners of Thai language and I have used most of them but I am more than willing to trade in those ten apps for one from you guys! I would even pay $3 to download it if I had to. Please take my request into consideration because I love your developed apps already. I will be waiting for the email that says y'all dropped a Thai language app 🎉🎊👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙇🏾‍♀️ thank you so much for sharing.
