Worth every penny + more
I needed an efficient, fast and intuitive app to format my photos into squares. The developer created perhaps the most simple app that does exactly what it’s supposed to without the extra components that just confuse and annoy. This is worth every penny.
Great app - please add black background!
Great app, love that it’s fast and simple to use / doesn’t try to get me to upgrade to a paid version that has 100k cheesy backgrounds and effects to choose from BUT… since dark mode is becoming more popular on mobile devices, it would be awesome to see a black background added as an option. Please!!!
In my tool kit
I have a couple of apps to post non-square photos to Instagram. This one gives you the whole photo in one shot, where’s my other breaks it up into multiple photos. Both are good for different reasons.
Exactly what I needed
I get very good results with minor work there is the normal white background and also I love the blur effects backgrounds which are predefined for beauty and are the best for such square background photos and doesn't provide fancy unused and unnecessary features, I've looked for this to make my Instagram account more unique and this is great for my needs!
Scam
I normally do not write reviews, but I am doing so this time. This app requires you to pay $0.99 and does not mention a subscription or having to pay each time you save an edited photo. So I paid the $0.99 to download the app and then when I used it to save the photo it’s asking me to pay $0.99 again. I am not sure if that is each time I am using it and I do not want to find out. They did not mention in their description about this and seemed to be a problem other users have been having. Seems like the developer does not care if problem has not been addressed or if they are intentionally not telling people so they keep having to pay to save the photos. Please stay away from this app.
Best in class!
This is by far the best app in this category. Clean, simple, easy to use. No annoying adds. LOVE it. My only request is *PLEASE* update to allow uploading/editing photos in batches. I often editing 5-10 photos at once and uploading/editing individually is super slow and annoying.
Charges you when you download
This app is misleading it’s users! Once you go to download, you will be purchasing for .99, does not advise anywhere on the app! I have my phone set to purchase with my finger print so once I hit download it automatically purchased! i’m very upset that this app has no disclaimer or anything right before purchase. Also where is my picture??? Because I didn’t even get the picture.
A free option to sizing for IG
Thought this app was free until I started reading the comments while I was downloading it. The developer says nothing else is cheaper. That’s just not true. I have InstaSize, but I was looking for something that used less space on my phone. I generally use it for sizing for IG and that’s all. They have kept updating it to where it’s taking up a gig of space. I haven’t used this app because I don’t want to lose any money. If it wasn’t deceptive I am sure there wouldn’t be so many complaints. Guess I’ll keep using InstaSize until I find something else
Need to pay
Normally I don’t complain about apps that require you to pay, but the way it tries to be sneaky and trick you into doing it in order to save the picture is not okay with me. I almost accidentally paid for it without even realizing because I thought it was just saving the picture until I read more carefully. If you want the app to be a paid app just make it a paid app instead of trying to scam or trick people.

Well my gosh, lookie what I found, you won’t believe it, guys! Check it out: ^^THIS^^ app right here has done something that, unfortunately, is becoming rarer & harder to find as time goes on…. THE APP ACTUALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO!!! Holy crap! I did not believe there were any honest apps left in 2022. But I’ve been using “Square” since at least 2017 and it has never let me down! Keep up the great work, guys & gals! 😘
