Keypad wont light up and tried everything I can go

Keypad won’t light up on my new T Guard smart lock. Took back apart a few times and checked wire connection. Tried factory resetting and still nothing. Buttons work just no lighting. Power saving mode in app is disabled also. Tried contacting the support a few days ago and again today and no response. Lock seems to work well other than not being able to see the numbers on the keypad without a flash light . I wouldn’t recommend to anyone because of their customer service.

Love this company and this app

I use HomeKit so tbh I use the Apple Home app mostly, but this Voco app is amazing and in some ways even better then the Home app. I have many smart home accessories but I find myself using this app, and this app alone, along with the Apple Home app. It’s the only other smart device app I use outside the Apple Home app. Love it and will continue purchasing Voco accessories. Great work guys!

VOCOlinc appliances

Mainly have lights and outlets, which seem to work great with HomeKit. Would recommend it being easier to set up a scene for lights using rgb numerical values instead of color wheel. When just controlling the lights you have the option of a rgb numerical value option (red 220, blue 90, green 50) but when trying to set up a scene you have to use a color wheel hoping you get the same across lights. Otherwise works pretty good (internet permitting).

Terrible

Terrible app and smart plug. Purchased the Smart bar plug several months ago. Worked for about a week before problems occurred. The smart bar is constantly shown as “offline” in the app. After the first week, I had to factory rest the plug daily to get it to work properly. After about two months of that, the plugs have become completely worthless. I completely deleted the app and unplugged the smart-plugs and then tried to go through a complete setup again as if they were new out of the box. The plugs refuse to connect to the app and the one time I got a plug to connect, it immediately showed as “offline” again. The app is quite difficult and the supported products are even worse. Don’t waste your money.

Not bad needs tweaking

Not a bad app or set up. Lights and colors are great. Setup and sync with HomeKit is easy and trouble free. App lacks a couple simple options that would be helpful ( maybe I’m doing something wrong). I can give Siri commands that aren’t in the app. Simple thing like warm white or cool white defaults or basic color defaults. Plenty of custom set up but no resetting to defaults. Simple solid color or whites not shown. so once I use an effect on the app, I have to use Siri to go back to a steady white. This applies to dimming as well. Maybe the app has a way but I haven’t found it in four days.Lastly, same as others have said. Loses sync and the solution is to remove from HomeKit, reset controller and repeat the setup. Fix the sync and add basic control options and I would give it a 5 star. The lights themselves look fantastic.

Whoa

These lights are great. Bright enough without being overwhelming to the eyes. The ease of setup cannot be easier. I’d suggest for anyone new using these lights is to screw the lights in first then add via the app to make it easier and spend less time waiting for the light to respond. I have several and the smart plugs to work well together. I also label my boxes to which room I have the lights in and the smart plugs. Thank you for this product and the latest update to the VOCOlinc makes it well worth it. Later.

No issues at all

Came from iHome plugs that worked ok with a few hiccups, that got worse as the aged, even only a year later they were bad. Found these plugs and they have worked flawlessly with Alexa, google home, and HomeKit. I can use an service to control these and I have not had one issue in well over a year! App has always just worked as well, no issues even on beta ios.

Works great!

Similar to an earlier reviewer, I’m not sure what the negative reviews are all about either. I was apprehensive about the app having seen the low ratings, but I’d already purchased the plugs. My experience was that the app was super easy to use. Took me less than a few minutes to set up both plugs. Controls my devices perfectly, including my Wemo smart plug, and automatically adds everything into Apple HomeKit, so I don’t have to even open the app once the plugs have been added/setup. I can now just control them via voice with Siri.

App Needs Tightening

APPThe app isn’t bad. It interfaces with HomeKit well enough. I understand why it requires that the user grant it access to the Home Data, but if they deny it (as I do by habit for any first request for resource on my phone) the app offers no warning, and then if they attempt to access the User button in the lower right, the app crashes. It should warn the user when they decline access, and anywhere that would require that access should check, then remind them. Crashing just makes the app look bad. Fail gracefully. Lastly, I have a badge displayed on the app icon, but in the app nothing indicates why or what is causing it. DEVICEI understand only supporting 2.4Ghz for lower bandwidth needs, but it shortens the potential distance. I would prefer not to be required to purchase repeaters just to support these.

Nice when it works.

I use the VOCOlinc app to control my PM2 powerstrip. The app isn't hard to use, and it can be very handy. My only problem is that for the past 18 months it loses connectivity with Google Assistant, Alexa and Apple Home kit apps. Unfortunately it also frequently loses connectivity with the VOCOlinc app.Since it's a lot of trouble to reset the powerUnpin. This is pretty frustrating. I wanted to like the powerstrip and app because of their features, and the build quality of the powers.I doubt that I will purchase this brand again.
