Plz fix
It is an overall a pretty good game but you should probably fix the start game delay the bot reaction speed because when I’m in defense mode a bot next to me will go into attack mode then back to defense mode in a split second so it’s defense meter goes up by a second so when I run out of defense time I will lose about 25 weapons give or take then the bot will turn into a kamikaze killing both of us on top of that the amount of ads is outrageous watch an ad to be invincible for 30s die watch an ad double coins ad don’t want to double points here watch an ad anyways now the final thing the button layout makes me cry when you die or win the collect button is in the bottom left corner so I click it but the games delay when you press buttons is so inconsistent that I think the click did not register so I double click again and it works this time but I accidentally clicked the level up speed boost button there goes the coins I was saving to get a 10 random skin chest
Awful
I'm normally not a fan of games like these that bombard players with ads, but this one really grinds my gears. It is just about impossible to win. The game starts before you play, so you are automatically behind. The AI are always in a favorable area to pick up swords or steal from others. When you try to fight an AI, another can swoop in and instantly end the game. When you are behind, you will lose. When you are ahead, even to the last AI, you cannot trade enough because the swords will fly around in favor of the AI, causing it to pick up more swords and eventually win the fight regardless of how ahead you were. From start to end, this game is complete garbage. The ads on top of it do not help. With frequent losses comes frequent ad watching. Ridiculous business scheme to make profit on another half-baked project made by idiots.Defense mechanism. This game's quality is comparable to the garbage islands floating in the middle of the ocean. Delete this app.
Great game to pass time
To the top review saying you can never win just isn’t good at the game, it’s tactical, right before I wrote this review I won about 6 games or so in a row before losing so it’s not hard to win, the ads aren’t too back because they only last a few seconds and you can just right back into another game, I love the rankings and I think you can more swords to start with the higher ranking which is cool, but overall great game, if you can add more stuff that would be awesome
DO NOT BUY
This game is TERRIBLE. Every single round after you die there is two buttons. One of the buttons says continue and the other is a watch an ad to stay alive button, however no matter what you choose there will ALWAYS be an ad. Also if you do watch an ad to continue you are most likely do die almost instantly due to the fact that it is an online game and the players that are still alive are bigger and stronger than you. Another things is the currency system. For example when you win you may only get 30 coins. This doesn’t sound bad until you look at the ONLY things you can buy which are upgrades to the chest you find and open in a round. The issue is the prices of the upgrades. For a 1 second upgrade for the invincibility power up the first upgrade is 300 coins. Which means you will have to win 10 games for a 1 second upgrade.
Best Voodoo game yet
Where to begin, the level balancing is perfect. The power ups are perfectly balanced to where they aren’t worthless but they don’t have you immediately winning every time. Good characters that have an incentive to collect more. They included a refund system for coins. I’ve played probably half of their game catalogue (which is saying something because they have hundreds of games) and this is by far the best Voodoo game and possibly the best of all these iO games on the market right now. I’m impressed.
Fun!
I never write reviews, so this is rare. The biggest reason I wanted to make a review on this game, is the ads. In most games, the ads are awful. And before you start screaming at me about airplane mode, that doesn’t work, and it’s a lot of bother, considering I never remember to turn it off. But this game did a really good job. The ads are rare, and if you didn’t click the button for, watch a ad for invincibility, then you get to cancel the ad in five, seven seconds. The gameplay is great, I find it fun, not repetitive. I would say, totally get this game, it is sooo one of the better free games, you le know that type
A lot of “Ugh”s and a little “Yes!”s
To start out, I’d like to state that there should be two different game modes; one where you can play against AI and train, another where you can battle against online people. The AI are terrible and are just irritating. Every time I make a good move, they mimic me and another comes and takes my blades. The ads are absolutely ridiculous, because throwing an ad every single round at a player is frustrating. Especially when you lose, an ad doesn’t ‘heal’ your loss, just makes it more irritating. The game itself is, like I stated, incredibly irritating and frustrating. I’m extremely peeved when I exit the game. Though I play it very often, I notice the same ‘Homescapes’ ad keeps playing. It’s a sucker because they’re always showing up like something my dog left on the sidewalk, and I’m rather surprised when a different ad plays. I also request different skins like katanas, daijijians, daos, scimitars, spades, and Spears. If you don’t know of them, look them up. Alright, I hope you don’t take this offensively. Bye.
Data Burglar
This app (along with EVERY Voodoo Games app) will use cellular data even when you have denied its use of data, all for the sake of occupying 1/10th of the screen with ads and advertising for double rewards.When I first got the app, there was nothing to it; every player was just a ball surrounded by basic swords, chopping at chests. Now there are game-killing combos of characters and blades that practically guarantee a win if you do much as attempt to play. My champion combos are the sausage and pig, and the Viking and basic axe with a 150% blade pickup rate. And then they decided to make invincibility obtainable by a 30s advertisement, which makes the game no fun.I have collected all but three skins, and there is no guarantee I'll ever get them because the maximum number of randomized skins one can buy is 10. Please add more and remove a lot, because fighting bot-players is no fun.
Recommendations
Overall, it’s a pretty good game. Pretty(too) easy to win the games. 1. Needs a Champaign, a little(too) boring just battling to get gold or whatever.2. Needs more skins and abilities. I have been playing for TWO days and I have pretty much unlocked all the top-notch skins and blades.3. I would LIKE to see a blacksmith shop so you could make custom blades though it would 50 gold to craft one( or something like that).4. I would also LIKE to see stages or something like stage 1, two level 1 blades versus you. And also teams, 6v6 blades battles. Capture the flag, (max-12v12) blades have boundaries(or safe zone) either 6 on the defensive or 6 offensive.5. Could you (the awesome creators of the game) add a background to the map with trees rocks or something to add more fun to the game? Dear Creators, I know I’m asking for a lot but this would really increase the strategy to the game. Overall this IS the best game I have played since I played games. Good game, needs some adjustments
This is a great game and I love playing it. It just needs a few fixes to make it even better. The skins screen is so annoying to get to. You should make it so you don’t have to hit the settings button just to access it. And you should be able to keep your skins on for multiple games instead of having to go into the screen before each game to set the same skin every time. You should also make an online multiplayer mode, so you don’t have to just play with the computers.
