Too bad my bots can’t kill the bug

Initially, I would have given this game a 5 star rating. It’s actually quite fun for a merge game, I even spent a little money to do away with ads and get some gems (totally worth it). Unfortunately, now that I’m up to level 33 and have passed through all the bosses first time out, have a few level 20-something robots, and have grown fond of checking in and merging a few robots...my games infected with bugs that my bots can’t kill. When the app opens now, just before my offline winnings come through, crash, back to my home screen, no game. So kinda frustrating there, now to just twiddle my thumbs until it’s fixed or I get tired of checking and delete it. All in all it’s a fun, addicting time killer for a merge game, would definitely recommend after they chase the bugs out.

They have robbed us.

So I’m at lvl50 merging and half way through rank 5 on the map. I enjoy the game but it’s starting to get ridiculous. I’m watching an add every 3 min just to be able to keep my double damage boost up so I can upgrade my bots past lvl 30 maybe this week. In every game I have played previously with a “watch this add for a boost” the boost has always lasted no less than 1 hour. Also, I have plenty of gems to spend In the store for the gold exchange but they won’t give you 100%. They claim you get 1hr worth of gold based on you current earnings. So if I am earning 100gold/sec that should be 6000gold/min and 360,000gold/hour right? Wrong. They want to sell me 108,000gold for an hour. And it doesn’t increase if you buy 12 hours worth or 24 hours worth. It’s not even a full 1/3 of what you actually earn. They are trying to sell you 30% of what you would actually earn in a hour. If these were fixed then it would be a fantastic game.

It’s alright.

It’s pretty fun and you feel as though progress is being made.. until later into the game. You’ll eventually realize that all the numbers are arbitrary. At no point, even for a little while, so you feel like you’re “winning”. Have maxed out bots for your area? Watched an ad or dropped gems for the double attack speed? I mean look at the numbers! It must mean something, right? Until the boss creeps off the screen, undying. Seemingly more invincible and quicker than before.I can no longer progress. All of my bots are level 80. There are no new areas to reach. Even with this, double attack speed and the little special attack.. bosses frustratingly roll their way off the screen. Always there to remind you to feed the game your gems. Which earning them later in the game without having to purchase them isn’t an option.Not that there’s really a reason to fight bosses. Or even play the game now. But it had a good run, and it was entertaining up to that point. Well. For as much as a phone game can be. And these aren’t really entertainment are they. Just small lapses in time where your phone is sucking your brain dry when you probably should be doing something else, shouldn’t you.

It’s a very good game I recommend you play it you mix robots together to create new robot and you can defend your land as it is like World War II so why did you try this game but it’s really fun and you can and you can upgrade them the guns on your on your robot so that way they’re extra stronger they have extra power so Play this game and I’ll be super happy please can you play this game this you can also move unlock new bot and you can also fight robot bosses so that is the game I really want you to try please try this and give me a review and think in and think what you think for me

No more strategy

So I got a developer response, but apple won't show me my own review to see it, but since I got a response it got my hopes up that the game had changed for the better. I'm not personally a fan of the new artstyle, but that shouldn't be an influence. What I really dont like is how they got rid of the statistic bars for the different levels. It removes any startegy or thinking the game had with the placement of the bots. Before, you could place your bots in a way that their targeting would get the most out of their high damage, low firerate attributes. But now, it just tells you "Damage: ___" and it's meaningless. It would honestly give the game a lot more depth if there were strategies or upgrades/modules you could put on bots you place to change their behavior to suit their placement. Now, it's just mindless click the things, watch them shoot, and upgrade them. No thought whatsoever. Makes me sad because of the lack of decent mobile games and this has some real potential to be cool.

Seems like our time is coming to an end

I’m currently lvl 103 with 4 lvl 80 towers. I’ve gone as far as I can on the map, I can’t go past lvl 80 towers, I’ve purchased every attack boost, I can only buy up to lvl 76 towers (without using 300+ gems). Having a limit of 12 spaces to merge with gets difficult when you have lvl 80s stacking up. I was a little disappointed when the game got completely redesigned but I adjusted quickly to the current gameplay. I’m hoping that merge tower bots gets more locations on the map, a wider variety of bosses, Tower lvls that go beyond lvl 80, maybe more attack boosts as well. I can only defeat bosses with double attack speed, in certain matchups of course. I’m not necessarily sure that I’ll continue playing if the gameplay stays the same as it is now. I still think you guys deserve 4 stars since it has taken me awhile to get where I am now, but that’s why I’m hoping for more.

Fun for a Minute, Potentially a Classic, Botched and Neglected

Honestly, this game starts out pretty addicting and fun. At some point along the way, you will realize there is no strategy and the gameplay is just a math equation. If you are dedicated and persistent, you will max out everything in a few days. You could probably finish in 48 hours if you played strait through. I’m glad I didn’t spend any money on this because it’s obvious the developers have given up on it. Sad, because the initial fun was pretty captivating and it had potential to go in a few directions that would keep people entertained for a lot longer than it currently does (meaning more money for the developers). If you were to spend money on in game upgrades, ad removal, etc… you will quickly find out after a couple days what a bad idea that was. In conclusion: Fun, but not for long…

1 Bug Found With New Update

This game is honestly, one of the best games I have ever played on the App Store. Now, with that being said, the new update seems like it made the game a little bit easier to get the new bots. However, there is unfortunately a new bug that has appeared with this update. The 4 free gems that you are supposed to get every 8 hours, no longer works as intended. What I mean by that is, it’s only worked once, and when I look there it just never refills. The timer for it isn’t even there, and when I press the claim button, it does not give anything and the timer resets to 8 hours.Please fix this, as this is, in my opinion, one of the best, if not the best idle game, on the App Store.

Really good

Ok so you might have seen me review other games than you know ima strict rater tower bots has ALWAYS been there when I was bored or didn’t want to play any of my other games now there is just one suggestion I’m making can you PLEASE add more bots cause after I got the final bot (level 70) I tried merging 70 with 70 to see if there was a secret bot to unlock but like there wasn’t so I’m a little disappointed that there wasn’t another bot another thing I’m sad about is that once you get to the final map you stop there can you please add more locations for the bots to fight in otherwise this game was VERY fun so I SEVERELY recommend this for people who are bored and need something to do. One more thing don’t listen to those crack pots who say that the game is horrible and they have to watch an ad every 3 minutes to keep there double damage up yes I’m talking to yYOU bistro1 no there lying cause when I played I can each an add to get 10 minutes of fire rate (which is the amount of time I need to get daily stuff) so yeah thanks for reading and please take my suggestions into consideration thank you Byeeeeee

Awesome game guys.

This game is special to me. This game inspired me. I went to App Store to buy a game. I couldn’t find a good game but I found this game. I downloaded it and played it. I decided to keep that game. Because it was so much fun. I found other games but merge tower bots were the BEST. I decided to delete 10games and keep 5games and merge tower bots so 6games. Almost all of my friends decided to buy this game. You guys should make a lot of merge games. Now that would be awesome to me. But awesome game guys good job. I wish if you guys can make a shooting game that would be awesome. This game is awsome. My sister said she hates this game.But I think it is awsome.You guys should make a lot of games.
