Connection Problem?

I really like the game. It is really fun to play against other people with different skill levels. Also, I admire how almost every review has a Developer Response. That means people take our feedback into consideration. The main problem with this game is that it is so slow. For example I have great reception on every other app, but on this game, the WiFi is mysteriously slow. I know on the app it says it isn’t a bug, but when sometimes I’ll be in the middle of a game and when a throw a card down I’ll know that I got it first. Then seconds later, my card will come back and the opponent's cards are all played. This happens very frequently and I’m not sure how to solve it. Other than this, it’s a great game and a brilliant way to pass the time. Thank you.

My favorite game

I love playing this game I played it as a kid. I literally started playing in March and am now in the top 5. My only issue is the lag. With certain players the game slooooowwwssss. Pop up box keep telling me it’s a connection issue when I’m sitting at home with 5 bars and WiFi this is an internal game issue that needs to be fixed. To other players I’m playing $100,000 bet I do not win every game but stop crying when you lose. I literally started from the bottom playing AI just to get $100 to play a game for 3 crowns. Got to be quick the name of the game is SPEED.

Unfair

When I first downloaded this game I loved it, but then I noticed major problems. I loved the fact I could play online when people are too busy to play speed with me. You cannot play online if you didn’t have enough coins, then you have to play a slow computer. This was extremely frustrating because I was also scammed with the coins. When I play an opponent I would put a card down first, but they scoot my card out of the way and put their card there instead. Due to that, I lost lots of coins multiple times; limiting my playing online privileges. The internet quality was also very crappy. I kept getting stuck on screens, and “something went wrong, try again.” Notifications. I am extremely disappointed because I thought I finally found a good online speed game, but these setbacks were ruining the fun. In the real world you are not aloud to scoot cards; that defeats the purpose. I could get used to it if it let me do the same, but I don’t have those privileges. I don’t recommend purchasing this game. You will get really frustrated.

Fast-Paced, Challenging

As a competitive person who likes keeping my mind active, this game has become a favorite of mine. I really like that it offers 1. solo practice modes against the computer, and 2. online games against other players. The only drawbacks is that there are very few players online at a given time, and the game often loses its wireless connection. So, I am trying to help with more widespread promotion so people know how great the game is. At first, I was really frustrated playing against other players. I was constantly losing. It has taken a few months of regular practice for me to play well. For a while you might not see much improvement; but stick with it, and you will improve.

Much more than just slamming down cards!

This game is great if you enjoy the challenge of competing against other players online, without over complicated rules that have to be learned first. The game offers a wonderful AI practice level with customizable difficulty levels that help to improve your skill. As you improve, you begin to see and develop your own strategies that one might not assume are needed for a “simple” card game. And speaking of improving, the company has one of the fastest response times I’ve ever experienced. They are very open to feedback and genuinely want people to be happy and satisfied playing their games. They want to make their existing products better, as well as develop new and exciting ones. I’m looking forward to trying more of their apps!

Crashing

Started out great the first few days. Then one day it would not open it will only crash after a few seconds. The rating would be higher but until they fix this issue I can’t give it a higher rate UpdateAfter I reset my phone a few time I was able to get back in to the game it may have been on my end that there was a problem. This game takes me back to childhood and gets my heart rate up when I’m down to the last few cards. Keep up the good work

Uneven

I did like the game. It was nice because there aren’t ads unless you choose to watch them. However, I often found myself playing against others with a much high number of crowns. For example, I had 200, and I would go up against someone with 30,000. I was tired of it because they had more experience so I lost most of the time. And this has been brought up before, but the lagging also sucked. There are times where each of us only had a couple of cards left and I placed mine down, thinking I won. However, a second later, my card would come back into my hand and all of their cards are gone. These are the two main things that made me delete the game.

A lot of hacked profiles

This game is super fun and challenging. The only issue I have is with the hacked accounts that you are unable to beat . You can tell the accounts are hacked from noticing that all of their calls are jumping as you are playing. This prevents you from getting a card in. The second way to tell is as soon as you play against the hacker, the game automatically freezes and ends. You will lose your coins and the hacker will automatically win without having to play. I watched a hacked account (SN: Monster) go from zero points to 700k in a week. Please fix this problem. There should be a way to remove so that winnings are fair.

Great but...

I absolutely LOVE this game, it’s fun, there are no annoying ads to deal with, and it’s a great game to pass the time with. But the thing that I don’t like about it is that whenever my phone happens to lose connection I automatically lose money which I don’t think is very fair. The first time it happened I thought that I would be getting my coins back, but I was disappointed to find out that it meant I automatically lost. It is very frustrating especially if you don’t have much money. I really wish that after a lost connection I would be able to receive my money back. But overall it’s a really fun game.

Love this game.. sometimes

I absolutely love Speed, which is way I got this app in the first place. I am a bit upset there’s only so much you can do and they simplified it but regardless it is still fun. The main issue I have is how rigged it can be. For example in my last game, me and the other player had one card. I had a 3 and they had a 9. I put my card down way before they did and somehow my card gets thrown away even though they can’t put their card down on a 4. They say it’s either because you’re too slow or connection issues; but I know there’s people with hacked accounts and they don’t even bother to ban or fix the issues.
