One job and spent do it

App doesn’t store my upcoming trips. App doesn’t let me search for my upcoming trips.

Worst Hotel App

I’m unable to enter my “correct” information in the “my trips” platform on the app. Perhaps there’s a lag with data transferring from a phone reservation and an email reservation confirmation. However, one would assume that entering a confirmation number on the app would bring up the reservation information.

False advertising lack of customer service

I used the app where it showed multiple rooms available for the Mahway location. Upon arrival I was told the hotel was completely sold out. I asked if the front desk could call the other sonesta before driving there since I have a small child, she said no she couldn't. I called the reservation line from the app where they stated there were plenty of rooms available at Mahway and they could book one for me. I explained what I just experienced and so they put me on hold and called the hotel where they then said the hotel was completely sold out. I asked if anything could be done since I drove there with the app stating plenty of rooms. The closest sonesta would be 20 min away. They said nothing could be done. I called the help hotline and again I was told that they could file a complaint but that was it. I drove to the sonesta that was close by. They told me their rate was 167 the app was cheaper. There is a $300 deposit plus dog fee that also must be taken which is $75. Every person I have spoken with today was cold and not at all helpful. They lacked customer service and it was very different from my wonderful experience at the sonesta Parsippany-Troy- Morris plains. It's a real shame. I doubt I will be staying here anymore.

Amazing Staff

I previously submitted a review for my lengthy stay at your White Plains property.What made my stay so comfortable was theamazing front desk staff. I just wanted to add Taki to my gratitude list. He was always concerned about my husband who was hospitalized and offered his best wishes and prayers. He kindness was greatly appreciated and Sonesta should know what a great team they have representing your hotel.

App Issues

Ive used many hotel apps and this one has to be at the bottom. The app doesn't allow you to see your profile it always has “an issue loading page” if I'm signed in on the app why should you give me an issue to view my profile. Also it only allows you to see your reservations if you enter the confirmation number. Again if I'm signed in to my profile it should just show me my reservations booked under my profile and not give me a hassle to enter a confirmation number.

Unable to book within app

Not sure what’s going on, but it’s no longer possible to book a room from within the app. Definitely behind the competition when it comes to ease of doing business.

Can’t book a room thru the app

The book a room page doesn’t load on my iPhone 12pro. Recently was trying to book a room for 52 days but had to switch to IHG because this app doesn’t work
