Lg smart tv remote app

I don’t really care for it , it constantly is making me wAtch ads and half the time I can’t exit out of it because it doesn’t pick up my finger print or acknowledge there is a someone trying to use it, it’s basically a hassle for me

Ads? Really?

I’m trying to control my TV because one of the kids lost the actual remote for this TV. So in the middle of trying to navigate the app to control my TV, a 5 second ad pops up. This is not the kind of app that should have ads. I get the ads at the bottom of the screen, but an ad that interferes with operating the device it’s intended to control is just dumb. The app works, once you figure out the layout. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to switch back to live TV.

OK (Select) button does not work!

As others have indicated in these reviews, the OK (Select) button on the Media screen does not work so once you use the app to navigate to the right place, you need to pick up the physical remote to select the choice. The problem has existed for some time IAW other reviews and the developer should have fixed it by now.Since it is free I am not as concerned with the ability to turn the TV on with the app or the existence of ads. You can turn the TV off.

Amazing app... But

This app is so amazing, so simple and easy to use, and looks good to the eyes. But one thing that I don't understand is that why are there ads on a remote app? It can be very annoying to deal with. But other than that this app is a 10/10

Prank Master

The app is really good if you’re looking at this and you have a LG TV I definitely think that you should get this because for me I am a kid my sister so yeah I really think everybody should get this if they want to play someone or like if you were near where your remote is that you just use your phone.

Life saver

This app is a life saver. My toddler misplaced the remote control and it’s been frustrating being without the TV especially for her. The app saved our lives literally. Lol. It is simply the best. There is the ads that keep popping ever now and then but I think it’s a small price to pay for something free and amazing

Ads are CONSTANT, unusable

If there were an option to remove the ads I might even pay for it because the app seems to otherwise work quite well, but I CAN’T USE A REMOTE if THE ENTIRE SCREEN is COVERED BY AN AD every TWENTY SECONDS. I could barely even get my TV connected because I had to dismiss THREE full screen ads during the process. I would be about to hit an important button and an ad would be there by the time my finger touched down. Obnoxious and unusable.

OK button

The app itself is great has all the features on the regular remote but virtually of course. The only problem is the ok button doesn’t accept commands. It’s been like this for months I can get to exactly where I need to be then can not select to watch my shows 🥺.

Great

My Lg Ir Remote hasn’t work in years. Makes using my LG Tv annoying. Continuously using the buttons on the TV to switch inputs , volume etc. I tried everything from fire sticks to Apple TV to control my TV nothing has worked. Called LG they said it would cost almost as much to repair the tv; almost as how much I paid to purchase it. Today I tried to use several apps and this is the into one that connected immediately. Now I have access to volume, that alone is worth 5 stars.

Easy To Find

I’m always losing my remote. This device is easy to use and works with much better than the TV ‘s remote. Only one complaint, the volume turns off, when switching apps And it’s not on mute. There’s no sound you have to turn the TV off than on again, it’s the only thing that works.I can deal with it I guess.🤔
