A great spin on tetris! Good for kids for sure

many people had negative things to say about this game but honestly if i had this game as a kid i would’ve been OBSESSED. even now, 19 years old, i enjoy playing this game. when you clear rows of the same color sand, it does “damage” points to the enemy, but there’s no actual fighting, it’s all just health bars and numbers. And honestly i read a lot of the bad reviews before playing expecting negative things but most of those reviewers have no idea what they’re talking about 😭. One review said that the game is filled with ads and you can only play with an internet connection, but i played just fine on airplane mode… Another one said you can let the blocks fall in the center and easily win every game, but i tried that and it just doesn’t work because you have to strategically place different colored sand while paying attention to the next colored block or you’ll screw it all up. ANOTHER review said that the “fighting” aspect takes away from the fact that it’s clearly supposed to be a spin-off of tetris, but if it’s a spin-off, isn’t the whole point supposed to be adding something new/different??? There’s genuinely no reason why someone could dislike this game. It’s fun, it passes the time, it’s simple, some levels are challenging. Overall, definitely a good game :D

What am I really playing?

Here is another one of voodoo’s “masterpieces” aka advertisement montage. Every one of their games has an insane amount of ads scattered throughout to the point where you cannot even play a full level in the game without encountering at least one. The usual way to circumvent these ads is not paying however many dollars it is in order to play the game, it’s turning off your wifi. Too bad that the game requires internet connection for some insane reason. Thanks Voodoo, you hate us, and because of that I won’t be playing your “game” (giving you ad revenue)

Don’t get, update ruined it

Waste of space on your phone, and don’t be fooled by the app store images or description; the game is not what is shown, and is actually impossible to play now beyond a point.It was great until they updated it not too long ago to be a “fighting” game, even though it’s nothing close to that. It’s sand tetris while you’re being attacked with no way to block or heal, and enemy power levels that progress up the levels ten times faster than you ever will because the coins are throttled to encourage ad-watch-packages. It is unplayable once you get to a certain level unless you want to watch ads to upgrade your character to match the level enemy, just to still be a sitting duck.

Fun but want an ad free version

I enjoy this game! The physics are fun. However, I’m force quitting the game every level so I don’t have to watch the ads, and you can’t play it offline.I wish there was an option to pay to remove ads. I don’t mind giving the devs a couple bucks for a cool game. But 1-2 minutes of game play followed by a 30 second unskippable ad is a deeply unpleasant experience. Since there is no option, and I refuse to give their ads even a second of my time, so force quitting it is

Almost perfect

I enjoy this game quite a bit. I’d like to give it 5/5 stars but I’ve reached a point where the fun is limited by poor level design. After about level 60, the amount of item drops you need to clear becomes too large to complete an entire level without paying for special items and extra moves. I’ve been stuck on level 64 for a week now. I’d rather not have to pay real world money to buy my way past the level, but the level design forces this. The special items do not drop within the 120 given moves, which forces the player to buy continues if they want to reach level 65.Game is worth the $5 for ad free. It would be a 5/5 if a player could continue to advance without spending more real world money.

not enough moves

On two occasions now I have selected the option to play on with 50 more moves and it took my coins but didn’t continue the game :( I also saw another review saying you don’t have enough moves after so many levels to win without paying for a bunch of extras which definitely seems to be the case on my end. I’ve been stuck on the same level (66) and I haven’t been able to pass it even with the special tools because there just aren’t enough moves to drop all the items you need to clear even when I added 50 moves :(

Fun but a little broken

I’ve been playing the game for a few days and am in the top 82% so I really enjoy it. But there’s a major problem with the game where occasionally for some unexplained reason it will suddenly start sending blocks at a speed so quick even the game can’t keep up with itself. Normally this kind of speed increase would occur late in the game like in original Tetris but this game has this occur almost entirely at random which is extremely frustrating. I hope they fix this soon or I’m going to delete.

Amazing till the most recent update

I got this game a few weeks ago because it seemed interesting and, it was fun, I cleared upwards of 70 levels. Then this update comes out and it completely changed the look. The ads I can understand because it is getting more popular, but the new aesthetic and also slightly changed mechanics makes it feel like a completely different game from what I grew to like. Don’t even get me started on the pay to win stuff. When things like coins (available to buy in app) get added to a game alongside hearts/lives and you need to pay to keep playing it just completely destroys the chill vibe that was so great about it in the beginning. In other words the game has started to lose all of its personality. Really what I’m hoping to do is bring attention to someone that the game is going downhill…

Not like ads

I just want sand tetris like how it was advertised, I hate when companies over complicate their games. In the ads it looks like regular tetris but the blocks are made of sand thats effected by gravity, but in the actual game there is no "endless" mode where you aim for a highscore, instead there are "levels" which means you get forced to stop playing after a couple moves, and you are "fighting" with some wizard in the corner that can damage your "health". It is not how the ads make it seem, and it is not like tetris, the game should be over when I run out of space for blocks not because a gremlin in the top right shot me with his balls. It gets two stars because at the very least it still has tetris blocks made out of sand.

Too Easy

I enjoy the game a lot played a few hundred of the levels and a bit of survival. The most recent update made the game too easy though it nerfed the challenges of the levels and made it so anyone can get the world record in survival. I currently beat 100% of players it says because I played a survival level while watching a podcast and just had to force end the run because it wasn't gonna end anytime soon. Genuinely fun game but the challenge seems to be gone.

This game is perfect for puzzle lovers and sandcastle builders. A Sandtris puzzle with a twist. You have to manipulate different shapes of sand blocks that fall from the top of the screen and arrange them in a way that they form complete horizontal rows at the bottom of the screen.
