Make Real World free again.

I was using this app for several months after I first heard about it on my instagram and only when I last updated it - (it needs to be updated constantly or else it won’t run) it told me that my free trial has ended and I need to “upgrade for access” it won’t even let me browse through the playbooks, for an app that’s about helping others navigate life you’re not exactly making it easier by forcing us to pay for the guidance when some of us might not even have a job… I understand you have to make money somehow, but a few ads embedded into the app to offset the production cost and let unsubscribed members access the content, would be better than putting absolutely everything behind a paywall. Sheesh…

Adulting is rough, this helps big time.

Sifting through random google results for advice on which insurance plan is best, how to get a job and where to find helpful resources on budgeting and financing is exhausting and inefficient. The experts at Realworld have put all that information in a self help platform that is easy to use and keep track of. You can even connect with other people who are experiencing the same things. Overall, I recommend it to all the adults in your life.

Perfect for Navigating Young Adult Life

I absolutely love Realworld and all of its resources. The journey helps take you step by step through common topics that young adults DEFINITELY need to know as they’re getting started on their own. I just graduated from university and this app has been a huge help to me especially as I navigate my financials. I also love the playbooks for quick, reliable resources. I’m a terrible cook by nature and Realworld has hooked me up with many solutions to help me improve or find other solutions!! My favorite thing about the app is how reasonable and accessible it is. 10/10 would recommend ☀️🌈❤️

Lifechanging!

The knowledge alone that all of this crucial information is now at my fingertips in an easy-to-use, digestible format immediately reduced my life anxiety and made me feel confidently prepared for the first time. Love the customizable timeline and reminder features, as well! The app design is seamless and dare I say makes tackling these tasks seem almost fun. So excited to keep using this product to stay organized and on-track!

A fantastic source

So glad I discovered this app! Realworld simplifies information and language that has been difficult for me to understand when researching on google. Theres a wealth of information on this app and playbooks on so many subjects. I like that I can customize my dashboard and prioritize the playbooks that make sense for me now and track my progress. Big win for me is the simplification factor and step by step instructions. Literally saving me hours of research and phone calls. Thank you!

Honestly...I don’t what to say

I looked for an app that I felt could help me out with “adulting 101” and came across this one. I figured that it was an easy fix that my problems would just dissolve. Saw the reviews and what not and everything seemed okay. Went to “create your account” button, put the information in and guess what, it said “Email has already been taken”. Mind you this is my first time using the app. I don’t want to feel like my information was had been jeopardized. But I feel as though, the mods or developers need to work on this issue. I was really looking for forward to a more authentic and accurate source to help me out on my journey through life’s issues and managing my money but it seems I’ll be taking my five minutes else where to log in and focus my time on something a little more private. Either with a verified link to email or just from the internet/YouTube! See ya and God bless anyone who went through the same issue and hasn’t heard anything since. It’s time we look in other places instead of an app that looks like it provides everything but isn’t what it seems.

Super Informative!

I’ve barely been skimming through the app for 5 minutes now and I already feel way more at ease about adulthood! There’s so much helpful information in every concept imaginable. One of my favorite parts is the vocab section which is super helpful. I’m so grateful to the creators behind this app and am beyond excited to begin using it frequently!

Feels like a cheap cross-platform app, only used for referral $$$$

If this app wasn’t made in React Native or Flutter, then someone really went out of there way to make it feel like that. Constant load screens, the app constantly hangs when going to each screen while it has to fetch the information every time (like which boxes are checked off, or what my profile information is). Navigation jumps around all the time and back swipes don’t always work. It feels like a cheap UI slapped onto a cheap experience. The core of this application is two things: a basic checklist for you, and a way for the creator to get infinite referral money off of the products that they try to get you to click on on all the main screens. Shameless cash grab. Here’s a to-do list for the developer: - Make your app usable - Provide real value to users, rather than a thinly veiled experience that is supposed to drive referral product buys

Likely the only app I’ll ever write a review for

Amazing! The only thing I’d like more is an expansion on what can be learned/planned in the app! Things that are even more personal like planning a vacation, a night out, a wedding, cleaning the whole house top to bottom, cleaning certain appliances (oven?) etc. I have so many ideas here lol But- I love it so much. I deal with some executive dysfunction issues and I’ve spent my whole life, wasting hours just writing/typing out what I needed to do step-by-step because I can’t just figure out a long term goal as I go. I have to sort it out all at once and lay it out as a project in front of myself with clear steps. It’s always how I’ve worked, and catering to it has taken a lot of time & effort not to mention explaining myself, and sometimes even being left behind with projects and plans. This is life changing in the amount of time and effort it will save me.

Must have App to navigate life after college

Incredible app! If you are feeling overwhelmed in the real world and wondering why school never taught you things like budgeting, investing, health insurance, work benefits, establishing credit, etc. then this is definitely the app for you. There are so many topics to choose and learn from that have helped me countless times make decisions. For example, with my new apartment I needed renters insurance and I was given no other explanation other than get it. Not knowing where to start, I turned to RealWorld which helped me not only understand what it is and why I needed it, but pointed me in the right direction on where to review my options and to purchase it. I have also used RealWorld to make decisions about which credit card to apply for and how to begin investing and which brokerage platforms to use. If you are struggling to understand Real Life problems and feel embarrassed to ask a stupid question about these things, I highly recommend this app to help guide you.
