Really helping on my journey to quit!!

I love the tips & check-ins. Some of the games need instructions. Or I’m too old to figure out!! It would be nice to have a time on your check in for when you lasts checked in, again, I’m too old to remember the last time I checked in, therefore how many cigarettes I smoked!! Not fair!!! I love the app!! I have cut back from 1 ½ to 2 ppd to a little over a ½ ppd. Soon I will be a non-smoker!!!! 🥳🤩Just add a “Last check-in time” when then check-in screen pops up. Thanks 😊As I been using the app, I’ve noticed a few things. When it’s time to check in or it gives you a check in tip, you have a split second to tab how you are doing before it goes to the inspiration, tips, FYI, etc. the other issue is, most of the tips to help stop cravings are to exercise. A lot of people who are quitting smoking, already have a pulmonary disease which makes them short of breath with minimal exertion! Please add pulmonary exercises that can be done by respiratory patients. Thank you!!!

Extremely Helpful

I had a plan to quit and this app really helped. I recommend to anyone trying to quit smoking. The only suggestion I would give to the developers is if possible to add an option to increase the amount of ‘check in’ texts you receive. I personally liked this feature where you answer a yes, no question and receive a message or suggestion back. I only got a few of these in a few months but more often would’ve been good too. But this is a wonderful app; very thankful to have had it.

Super cool!

I’m 21 and addicted to the Njoy vape. I started noticing I was getting really bad acid reflux and nausea and also it made my breathing go really low and two months later I found out it’s because of vaping nicotine and I yesterday decided to quit vaping. I didn’t know there was an app for quitting vaping and this app is so awesome. It helps you quit. It has lots of quotes from tips to inspiration to challenges for the day and you also login how you’re feeling however many times a day and it helps you with the cravings and withdrawals and all that. I one thousand percent recommend downloading this app if you’re wanting to quit smoking. The only thing I don’t like is this thing doesn’t have an option for quitting vaping only cigarettes so I had to guess how many cigarettes I smoke based off how much I vape a day so that was annoying.

Today is the day

This app has been very helpful. It seems as though they know when I’m feeling the urge or craving, because that is when I seem to get an encouraging text. Very supportive, encouraging and motivational. I am on day six, no cigarettes, although I searched and found this app a couple of days after I had my lady cigarette. It feels so good not smoking, food taste different. Smell isn’t in my hair and clothes. Don’t wake up looking for a cigarette. If you are reading this, hopefully you will be encouraged and empowered via this app.

Best Cold Turkey App

Whereas other quit smoking apps mean well, this app most effectively helps the person who has quit cold turkey. The other apps seem to encourage smoking or slips in subtle ways. Like select a quit date, for instance two weeks from now. That doesn’t work for me. I’ll just smoke right through it. Nicotine replacement therapy doesn’t work for me either so don’t tell me my chances are better with it. I guarantee you I’ll smoke with the patch on my arm! This app encourages quitting no matter what. And it seems to check in with me at those times when I most need some follow up. I’ve recommended this app on a personal level and now in my review. My friend who quit three months ago is now using it! It’s definitely useful.

Best for Cold Turkey

This app definitely seems to be geared more towards quitting cold turkey. Which is great if that’s how you want to do it. But I have been smoking heavily for nearly 20 years and cold turkey is not my choice. I am tapering off of cigarettes and have reduced dramatically within a week by my own accord. I have not made it to my quit date just yet. The check ins are great but as I am still tapering down and still smoking, it is a bit discouraging to see those cigarettes counts as “slips” even though I haven’t made it to my quit date. Other features of the app are great. The tips are cool. A tutorial would be awesome to have.

Just Ehhh

When I first downloaded this app, it was great, but now that I’ve started on Chantix to help me, a lot of the functions in the app aren’t working properly, such as photos and the “brag” button. Every time I try to upload a photo, the app closes completely and the photo does not upload. I wanted to add photos as reminders as to why I want and need to quit. These reminder images are very important to me. Also, I feel that the “Brag” button is a great feature, if only it worked. I feel it would be a great motivator, however, when I click on the button, it only opens up my messengers, printers, notes, etc. when I believe it is supposed to redirect me to a community page of some kind. Not sure about that because I can’t get it to work unless it only wants me to brag to people in my own contact list, but it doesn’t make sense because it tells you that your progress will be featured somewhere where others can view it to motivate them to stay quit. The app is all whacked out right now and I hope they get it working soon.

Helping me meet my goals

I’m 19 and last year during senior year of high school I let myself get addicted to Juul then I went to Italy for a month where I smoked a pack and a half a day. I made terrible choices and downloading this app is just one step I'm taking to quit. I’m doing this without any medication to help. I think downloading this app should not be your first choice. What I did was first I went to a hospital and talked to a doctor and I was honest with the doctor and asked for any help they could give me. Then every day since I’ve done something differently but something that is clearly enforcing to my brain that I want to quit. This is one of my steps and I plan on using it to try and get through this weekend. I’m a college student so I know I’m gonna get a lot of triggers. What I think is great about this app is that I can set locations for it to remind me. I’ve set reminders for all the frats at my school, my friends dorm and the place I usually get pods or cigs. Tomorrow my step is I’m gonna call a hotline and just talk to them. I think the most important thing for myself is to be committed and also to prove to my brain I’m committed. By saying every morning I’m not gonna smoke and then doing an action that directly aligns with that has made my urges less controlling. I wish anyone reading this the best of luck, you can do this!

App of Real People who Genuinely Care!

I think this is by far going to play the biggest part in my journey to a healthier me & smoke free life-lifestyle! I can’t believe how informative it is, information that OPENS MY EYES, that no one ever taught or told me about when I started smoking! What nicotine is actually made out of, how many different ways it’s affects me, my mind-brain, heart, blood vessels right down to dental issues due to smoking! Loss of sense of smell, taste. Also, putting others, people we love the most in harms way in many different forms by 2nd hand smoke alone. I’m horrified & I’m thinking...”THANK YOU FOR CARING ABOUT US...SMOKERS ENOUGH TO PROVIDE INFORMATION IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS-FORMS. THANK TOU FOR CARING ENOUGH ABOUT US BY DOING WHAT YOU DO, ENOUGH TO STICK WITH US, BELIEVE IN UD, ENCOURAGE US ENOUGH, TAKE UP YOUR OWN TIME TO HELP US.” ...ALOT of us smokers are those of us who have been smoking aren’t used to people like you. Amazing people who honestly care! Thank you?Think about how many lives you potentially save, have an impact on, families you change please? What you do is HUGE!I definitely appreciate it & recommend you app 100%, hands down!!!

Glad I found it

When I first downloaded this app I had no idea that within 30 days I would actually stop smoking. The daily tips and reminders are a great feature. Although many apps have reminders this one has been particularly helpful in my journey to maintain Smoke Free. I am now going into my second month without a single cigarette. After 46 years of smoking this app has been helpful in keeping me on track. I highly recommend giving it a try.
