This game is amazing, but…

So yes this game is amazing, in my opinion. It’s a phenomenal time passer with very fun and linear progression. Everything works great in regards to performance, never crashed or lagged. You can even remove the ads for just $2.99 which I found super worth it, this also allowed me to skip boost ads to get the benefits of the boosts instantly. If you don’t buy that pack, you’re fine; the ads are only about 5 seconds long and then you can skip it. The ONLY down side to this game, is that you are going to get hooked and grind all the way to the final stages of the game and WILL get stuck. You will have all the items and houses and there will be nothing left to strive for. Yes you can level your skills and jobs infinitely (which is content in itself), it’s definitely rewarding to be able to equip the new item and/or house because your job makes you enough money finally. So in short, the game is great I highly recommend it, just remember that eventually you will be done with the “main” progression system. Other than that, the gameplay of this game is an absolute 5. I will just refrain to the 4 star because this review also reflects the activity of the devs and their future plans for the content in this game.Devs if you read this, it would be great to have updates on those kinds of things where you release more items/houses for more boosts and more longevity to the game. I would definitely rate it a 5 star game if this were the case.

Progress knight

Disclaimer: I did pay the $3 to remove ads just as I did the original so my experience is based on the ad-free version.I loved the first progress knight on mobile, so when I saw this it was a must-have. I’m about 10 lifetimes in, half of those through the new angelic path. The angelic path is just a reskin of the evil path from what I can tell but still I neat little addition. The cosmetic additions honestly took a bit to get used to, with the pictures and non-minimalistic style there’s a lot more bloat than the original progress knight(I know that’s kind of the point so not a complaint) that took some getting used to. A couple lifetimes in though and I had gotten used to the extra scrolling and layout. The avatars are a neat addition as well as the two characters that specialize in military or mage. The ability to have multiple characters going is pretty cool too. The flavor text pop ups are a bit annoying just because the clickable area to pop up flavor text is around 2/3rds the card for each thing, so when you’re tapping things to activate make sure you tap the bottom 1/3rd on the text as tapping the picture just pops up flavor text. Maybe changing the text area to a small “i” icon in the corner of the card like most games do would be a nice update. So far the only thing that seems to be missing that I haven’t been able to find is the Auto-learn toggle that the original has to auto learn all your skills evenly, honestly later lifetimes are a bit unbearable without that so I’m not sure if I’m overlooking it somewhere or it’s not in this version of the game but if it’s not then I really hope it gets added soon, micromanaging skills later in the game is just a huge hassle. Overall I give it a 5 stars because it does do a really good job scratching that progress knight itch but without that auto-skill button I likely won’t be doing later lifetimes.

Great progression game

The game is great and i finally beat both evil and good story arcs and after that you cannot progress any further until they update and add in the next stage. Slightly upset i paid to remove adds since i beat it same day i paid, other then that it is a great game

Absolutely Perfect!!

I usually never leave reviews but, ever since the first progress knight I have fallen in love, and this is a wonderful rendition, adding more depth and a bit of graphic into the world, phenomenal so far, I’m at the second tier rebirth, and I love that it’s a choice of good and evil, stoked to see more, and would love to see further content or even remasters of 2.0, or reborn versions, absolutely amazing. Please keep doing what you’re doing!

Not bad. Lacking a bit in features

I am a huge fan of Progress Knight Mobile and jumped on this one when I saw it. Visually, it is spiffier and I like the that the skills have little flavor cards. Being able to choose an avatar is nice and I really like that it ages as time goes on and looks different if you choose the evil or good path. It is a bit bare bones though if you are coming from playing PKM. It seems to follow almost the exact same progression, save for the flavor of being able to choose “good” early on, but is missing a few jobs from TAA and doesn’t really make it worthwhile over the military path, save for unlocking the spells, which are a bit basic and fewer as well. The shop tells the same story. Pretty much the same progression, except for missing a few. Overall, the visual upgrade is a big improvement imo. It’s a bit limiting In features, but it’s also very new and I hope to see updates and improvements for the future. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one. Lots of potential.

Great Time Crunch Game

Honestly have had a ton of fun playing this. Art is good, progressions is nice. Really solid. On another note, there’s currently some optional ads in game that I cannot click out of, they’re covered by the pull down menu of my IPhone 11. Might be something the developer wants to look into?

Love it but add more

Great game. Huge upgrade over the original. Buying to clear ads is definitely worth it. Only downside is I beat the entire game within a week. Add more content and it’s a 5-star game!

10/10 Game

This game has been ADDICTED. I was one of the players of the OG Progress Knight game and I was content with that. However, when I found out that this game was remastered I was esctatic. My initial reactions when loading in this game was great. The visuals and the explanations were better. Not only that but the game pulls me to keep on playing just like the og. Wonderful game.

Description

Progress Knight is a life-sim incremental based in a fantasy/medieval setting, where you must progress through the career ladder and acquire new skills to become the ultimate being. You first start off as a beggar, barely being able to feed yourself as the days go by. However, over the years you learn new skills and gain plenty of work experience to enter new high paying jobs while managing your living expenses...

Will you decide to take the easy route of doing simple commoner work? Or will you go through harsh training to climb the ranks within the military? Or maybe will you decide to study hard and enrol in a magic academy, learning life-impacting spells? Your career path is open-ended, the decision is up to you. Eventually, your age will catch up to you. You will be given an option to prestige and gain xp multipliers (based on the performance of your current life) for your next life at the cost of losing all your levels and assets. Fear not though, as you will re-gain your levels much, much more quickly than in your previous life... After multiple rebirths, the paths of good and evil beckon you. Will you embrace the darkness, becoming a formidable force that strikes fear into the hearts of others? Or will you choose the path of righteousness, embodying the essence of purity and compassion? -- This remastered version integrates the base game from ihtasham42, featuring a complete graphic/UI redesign and new exclusive content (choose your path between evil or angelic). Estimated total gameplay time: 50 hours (without boosts).
