Give it a try. Use the help link if youre confused

Great game that gets a lot of updates. I’m currently waiting for some harder levels (lvl 186) and I am very confident the game has tons of growth ahead of it which is very exciting. I would also like to point out that the game can be played free and is just as fun but I did buy the VIP for $3 (I mean that’s very reasonable). I get addicted to “free” games so I have to steer clear from them but this is not in my face with micro transactions. Thanks for the great game!

Good game, too many bugs

I love this game but man the bugs are very noticeable. The auction house sometimes works, most times not. If you try to purchase a script it either is stuck on a load screen, doesn’t do anything, or does what it should. The script screen sometimes works, sometimes not. When you replace a script, you should see it as a replacement but sometimes it just over rights the one there. So when you should have 5 active, it shows 7 cause two are over lapped and there is nothing you can do to change that. Very annoying. But good concept of a game. Just wish it worked better.

Fantastic game

This game has been fantastic so far, I’ve been grinding it out a bit here and there. This is one of the best healer type games I’ve played, the fact you get to change party members and see them level up is great. There is also a skill tree and some “stat” points that you can spend, “stat” points can be changed freely.EDIT: Fantastic to hear that! Also, I actually found a pretty game breaking bug, is there any other method of contact so I can share without any others reading about it?

Refreshing change of pace

With the thousands of inbred ad-covered games soaking throughout the App Store, it’s so amazing to see a game like this. It’s different, entertaining, and have amazing artwork (especially the animated sprites). When I’m playing, I feel like the dungeons are catered to my level, but does not hold your hand. Though the first couple of dungeons could be slow, the game picks up once you can start swapping sprites, learning abilities, and learning the best perk distribution to clear the toughest of levels. Getting new sprites (characters on your team) are primarily earned through the shop and quests. The ones acquired through the shop are reasonably priced, and you could easily (with a bit of thinking power) make a team that suits you without spending a dime. The online market is a great idea, and gives an extra way to obtain sprites you wanna try out or sell ones you don’t need to make some money back. It’s unfortunate to see how little publicity it has over some of the “great” games on the App Store, and I hope this game goes on to update and evolve into a popular game with all the recognition it deserves.TL:DR this game has real care implemented in it and I suggest anyone that sees this game give it a try.

Needs a little polish

I would like to see a screen that informs me on what the scripts abilities do, and not just my own dudes, but every script I have in my party. At first I was to believe that all abilities were about reducing the hp to zero, but then I noticed my necromancer healing me, so by knowing about those abilities I, and other players, can plan out our party more strategically. (After more digging, I was able to find the information screen, however I still believe that getting to this screen should be more streamlined. For those wondering you need to select scripts, scroll to the one that you want investigate, tap on it then swipe to the right, then you get to the read me page) Another major issue I have is that your auction house takes anywhere from 2 minutes to half an hour to do anything, sometimes I just need to give up on stuff it takes so long, I have minimal knowledge in programming, so I am not sure how difficult it would be to make changes in multiplayer aspects, but that would go a long way in helping. Or even if that isn’t an option to fix, allowing the offline market to refresh ever 8 hours rather then 24 will allow us to play with more scripts without having to wait tens of minutes to connect so servers. Edit. Please change the gambit symbol, it looks too much like a heal when in reality it’s the opposite

Fake reviews and terrible game execution

The reviews act as if the games easy to understand and talk about stuff that the developers would obviously say like “hey! Thank you for responding, I found a game breaking bug, so you have any other means of contact so I can tell you the bug without other people reading” or “this game is so much fun, and of course the game isn’t for everyone but being able to play as the healer his such a great take on the game” but there isn’t a tutorial or anything and your just thrown into playing a game with some healing thing that seems to do nothing and before you even get through a minute into the first level it tells you, that you made a fatal mistake and you play again learning nothing to do and proceeding to die over and over again. The game looks good and I’m sure it would be good if you knew what you were doing and the reviews weren’t so fake

Fantastic Fun

This game replicates being a party healer for an mmo or arpg. I find it quite enjoyable, there is no tutorial, and I was confused for a few rounds. But I actually found this quite refreshing, the constant hand holding gets boring, I enjoyed figuring it out.The UI is thoughtfully crafted and everything is displayed in an intuitive way, there is a ton of customization in play style and looking for random loot drops and quests is satisfying. The only thing I have not been able to find is descriptions of script abilities, most are intuitive like taunts or interrupts, but some are a bit more obscure. Giving us descriptions would help with the party and theory crafting. All in all a wonderful game though and looking forward to any and all updates. Cheers development team!

Loads of fun for a game I found on accident

I’m really enjoying this game. Like the others have said, there’s no real tutorial and the help link is broken for me, but it’s been fun to play. My only gripe is that in-game there’s no good way to initially learn what your abilities you unlock do (it’d be nice if the pause button allowed you to explore your skills) and it’s be nice if there was a setting to slow down the combat a little. More often than not the fights can get pretty hectic later on and I find myself being overwhelmed by everything going on at once (so I remove a debuff, should I bubble, oh wait now they’re stunned but for how long, why does my lowlife have less than half the HP of the other members in my party, etc.) but worth trying out if you enjoyed playing a healer in MMOs!

Fun once you figure it out

I’m really enjoying the game, but certain parts just aren’t very intuitive, and could have used a small tutorial or popup explaining the feature, such as what you skills do. I was only able to find the details on my skills by accidentally swiping on them in the party/script management screen. Little things like that left me confused/unsure of what I was doing, though I was eventually able to figure it out whether by using the link to the guide on the main screen of the game or by accident. Still enjoying the game though, these things would just have helped me enjoy it earlier. 5/5 otherwise.

Great Game

Lowlife is a fun game to pick up and play any time, whether you have 5 minutes to kill or a few hours. This game has thoughtful progression and mechanics and paces well. It doesnt fell like a grind; the quests lead you to progress organically through the levels. The in-game script market is great to trade characters. Really everything about this game is awesome.-----One criticism i have is that at higher levels (100+), i am seeing some frame rate drop because there is so much going on. Hopefully the dev is getting enough revenue to work on some more optimization in the future.Another thing, i wish there was a menu where we could drill deeper into the scripts' stats. I would like to be able to see the specific differences in subclasses and be able to see what the different moves do before i use a script. Right now, it seems like the only way to compare scripts in-depth is to vigorously test them in-situ.Another idea: maybe in the future, there could be more script customization to further develop your team. Maybe like add-on items that can further change parameters or something.

Description

All you gotta do is heal. Take control of Lowlife and heal your downloaded Scripts as you scour a corrupt, dystopian future. Your goal is not to hurt the countless Villains you will face spanning across several Simulations and Raids, it is to keep your party alive so they can do the hurting - by any means necessary.

Throughout the Healing Simulations, you will incept Memories which can be used to trade for new Scripts - or if you have downloaded Scripts with their own god-rolled skills, level them up with Memories or by taking them with you! Sell your extra Scripts in the Auction House for extra Memories to spend. Also shop for other worldwide players' listed Scripts to use for your own. There are 35 uniquely skilled subclasses of Scripts to be found, including Tanks and Melee DPS to place on your front line, Mages and Ranged DPS for your back line, and Shamans - a wildcard class that can be placed anywhere in your party setup. Lowlife places you in battle with a variety of weak and powerful Villains, equipped with only a variety of healing spells to keep everyone (and yourself!) alive. Spend your gained Parameter Points to build the perfect healer and fit your play style. Sprinkle a little of your personal playstyle on top by spending Node Points in one of three skill trees to build your perfect healer specialization. You'll need it to get the highest scores on the Global Leaderboards. Complete Quests and level up to gain access to a variety of Simulations with Bosses and challenges that await you. When you feel confident enough, team up online to take down a Raid Boss or two. Lowlife is free to play, unlimited, with no commercial breaks. Also works with no WiFi or internet connection (Auction House, Leaderboards, and Raids not available with no internet).
